I purchased a PC from LaptopsDirect.ie, which turned out to be faulty and nothing was done by LaptopsDirect.ie to help resolve the issue. It was pawned off to Lenovo - which legally they shouldn't do. This is my 2nd review on this because if you look at their response to my review and everyone else who leaves a negative review, you'll see the same boiler plate response and no helpline or email given in that response to support the customer. As it says on the title, this is BS Customer Care!

Good communication always replies in a timely manner.
Laptops Direct Claim to have items in stock and available for next day delivery. At least in my case, this is a flat out lie. I paid for an express shipment and was given an ETA which was not met. Called them to ask why the ETA on my account was slipping daily and the Rep informed me they had placed the order with the manufacturer but they are still unable to provide me with an ETA 10 days later. I'm await my credit. Will not try to buy from them again.

Updated 7th of July: Dyann requested additional details so they could "investigate" this 'unacceptable' experience. I gladly provided them with same and the auto responses to this information provided, suggested I would be contacted within 3 working days. Unsurprisingly Dyann has not come back to me on my experience. Laptops direct website however are still claiming they have MZ-V9S4T0BW in stock and available for NBD shipments.
I'm not sure why they made contact with me here if they had no intention of actually following up. If I could give them zero stars I would.
At least I got my money back.
I would not recommend buying from Laptops Direct or any of their other companies.

It's been over a week late. The product was stopped at customs for a random inspection. According to dpd they did not provide the correct estimated cost on the invoice. This has led to a week-long delay in my delivery and their communication has been awful.
I bought a refurbished Dell mini PC and it was delivered within a week. I am very happy with it.
Terrible service with mis-information constantly. Purchased two products and Paid for Express delivery. Irish website so I didn't think it would be too long to deliver to Ireland, got the confirmation email for Dec 19th delivery.
Then I noticed without any email - the dates would change. And kept changing. Was telling me I was getting my product Dec 24th we encouraged me to look here and it all clicked.
This company doesn't store there products. They are drop shippers. No customer service team, no actual products in a location near you.
They stay quiet and have no way to email, use a crappy AI bot that doesn't help to hide it's a small team who take your money and call a supplier to send your product from XYZ Country it's based in.

Placed and order for 2 laptops, delivery date was the 17th had conformation email. Then they changed date to the 23rd december. No email about the change in dates. Took the morning off work to sit here and wait for the delivery, to check on the website log into my profile to see the date has been changed to the 23rd december now. When i rang up they say what i ordered wasnt in stock. An there is no guarantee they will be able to deliver the items before christmas. Wouldnt have known any this only i rang up.

Got my i9 lap top. Had to wait two days for next day delivery so took 1 star away. Its a good system and good price. The best price I found with a 470 RTX with 14 generation INTEL core.
The problem was I had no tracking, no emails or update when lap top would come. After waiting for 2 days for my next day delivery I had a message from DHL saying the would be there between 9am and 8.pm, two days after my order. Shame I was not updated before by Laptops direct when I lap top was despatched or out for delivery. After phoning twice they said there was no tracking as my lap top came direct from their supplier. Is this what is meant by LapTops direct?
There seems to be a miscommunication between supplier and laptops. No one keeps you informed even though they said they would keep you informed along the way. It’s a bit hard to get through on the phone. But when you do get through the staff are polite.
DHL man was nice. He came at 6.00 pm with a great lap top.
Satisfied customer and had to wait a bit longer than I expected. Would have liked an apology or a note saying they were late or something.
Happy now.
Just deducted 1 star.
This company is a Joke, ordered 1000 pounds worth of stuff, Payed in full including delivery. Its 11 days no update regarding my order. Now when I rang them, they said my order is on hold since one of the item is not in stock, which is coming in another 10 days. Never again. Stay away. They never mentioned the item is out of stock while they took the money.

By letting people know in big writing that if they buy a gift in advance as I did a pensioner seeing a bargain laptop for my grandsons birthday in July bought it gave it to him for his birthday in sept 5 same year it never worked charged or switched on contacted them fobbed me off to oppo they told me I should have had a refund from laptops direct and told me to ring them back I did they fobbed me off again emailed at least 6 times took them 5 week to reply eventually agreed to collect it and return for inspection as I'm a dialysis patient who is housebound 4 weeks ago still have no laptop 9 weeks on they will only repair it now as it's a laptop they can see there's no saved data on it I have just seen your reply to know order number so can't follow this up It is 48974241 and I still do not have a laptop your company would be able to see there was no data on laptop as it wouldn't switch on or charge so how am I having to accept a repair on a product I've never used ne5 2jh
Ordered laptop 16th July on confirmation email delivery on or before 22nd July rang to say no delivery where was it oh no idea what a 💩 show. My complaint was then sent to escalated delivery and they said they would ring the next day I had to ring them twice then got notified from ups that it was being delivered within next 2hrs when I had already told laptops direct that no one was home conclusion is do not order from this company my laptop is sat in a shop until ups can collect it and re deliver when I am home

I don’t know what happened but I was in my shopping cart and went to cancel out to go back to the main page, but it then said my order was processed?? No payments were taken out of me because I hadn’t provided any card details thank god, but now I receive emails to process payment. I’ve tried calling customer service but the number wouldn’t work and I have no other options of communication. Nothing on the help and advice page was helpful for me either unfortunately.

Ordered a laptop. had to wait unless after the due date to find out they didn't even have it in stock. Very disapointed. Unlikely to trust this site or any other online laptop site ever again
Ordered a PC and 2 monitors from them and everything is perfect with no damages.
I ordered then looked at other trustpilot reviews and I got nervous. I for one had no issues with laptopsdirect. Expected delivery date was the 14th of February and it arrived the 12th of February (ordered on the 3rd of February).
But given other reviews. Don't depend on exact dates.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company and feel compelled to share it.
When I placed my order, the product page promised delivery within days. After placing the order, I received a confirmation stating a 5-day delivery timeframe. However, the reality was far from these promises.
When the order did not arrive within the promised 5 days, I reached out to customer service. Only then was I informed that the actual delivery timeframe was 14 working days. This was not communicated at any point during the purchase process and is a clear case of misleading information.
Even the extended 14-day delivery timeframe was not met. When I inquired about the delay, I was told that a delivery attempt had "failed" on a day when I was home all day, with no attempt made to contact me or deliver the package. This was followed by a vague promise of a redelivery "next week" and a request to wait another 72 hours for a call to arrange this.
Despite paying a substantial delivery fee, the service I received was far from satisfactory. I've requested a delivery this week, and if this cannot be achieved, I've asked for a full refund and cancellation of my order.
The lack of clear communication, significant delay, unfulfilled promises, and misleading information have made this a frustrating experience. I would strongly advise potential customers to consider other options before placing an order with this company.

Order made on 29 Nov. 2023 expecting it to make Christmas delivery. Each week telling me it was just pushed out by 7 days. Dec 16 2023 rang them, advised of warehouse delivery on 21 but, of course, could not guarantee despatch on 23 would result in Christmas delivery. Got over that. Jan 22, today, and they have now pushed it to Feb. 2nd. I have been too patient, they have been short on detail, hopeless. Yes, I finally cancelled the order. I won't be back. Order no. 46786920
@Dyann, your reply to all unfavorable reviews is the same, each time, no exception & I am certain that that is all you do....post a reply. There is no specific explanation or insight to what went wrong! Nobody really cares if it goes wrong, if Christmas presents are missed. It does not matter to you or your employers. That's the culture at laptopsdirect is my impression.

Received a broken laptop, hard drive not working and absolutely zero help or constructive response from the company with regards to refund or return. They are an English company despite the .ie
Absolutely scammers- do not buy from this company.
Dear Dyann, I’ve forwarded the information you requested- however I do not hold out for a reply. For further information for anyone thinking of buying from this company - we tried returning the laptop with couriers for nearly a month and despite about 20 emails the couriers failed to show every single time they were supposed to pick it up. They didn’t allow us send it back ourselves due to customs, because they are an English company despite the .ie at the end of the website name.
When we sent screen shots of the broken hard drive we were directed by Laptops direct to a HP support page which was absolutely useless- basically told us yes it’s broken, there no support in your area.
No offer of a refund or a replacement by Laptopsdirect.ie.
I’ve email threads to support all of this.
