My analysis:
-Worn middle cover => This laptop has mostly (about 90%) of its lifespan used with Dell TB16 docking station and in combination with external mouse and keyboard and closed lid. There is 'nothing' worn about the middle cover
-Minor scratches => Indeed two 'miniscule' scratches, which I only noticed after you said so
-Keeps switching off => Before send off, fully charged and ran Windows reset of 1.5 hours of the battery. After return, fully recharged and after an hour still runs at 93%
My conclusion; Either LD analysis is either done by incompetent engineer or a deliberate act to 'score' laptops for cheap money.

I ordered a Lenovo laptop plus MS Office 365 on 4/8/22. A few day later I noticed an unauthorised charge on my credit card account for an additional €28.97, it turned out that somebody at Laptops Direct added Norton Deluxe to my order without my consent. I queried this and got an immediate refund BUT they cancelled my order for MS Office 365, which I was unaware of until the laptop was delivered and I started to set it up, without issuing a refund.
What followed next became a truly unbelievable saga. 11 phone calls with 8 different people over a period of about ten days during which the charge for the Office 365 was refunded and the product re-ordered. Next, the promised email with the download link for the now paid for twice refunded once MS Office 365 failed to materialist for nearly a week.
I all my years (over 50 since I left school) I have never dealt with such an incompetent organisation.
I now understand the reasoning behind the the near 50/50 split in the excellent and bad ratings. Laptops Direct Ireland obviously fulfill and deliver about half their orders in a competent manner, but seem incapable of anything resembling timely and effective action when something goes wrong.
Paid for a laptop a Powerbank and a Keyboard, including an extra surcharge for quicker delivery (no more than 1-week)
After nearly two weeks the laptop was delivered and it is approaching a month now with no sign of the Keyboard or Powerbank.
I have made over half a dozen calls and emails to customer services asking for updates and more recently a refund but to little avail. I am starting to worry that I will not get my money back either.

I have had major issues with this company before and only that a particular laptop I need is sold by them I wouldn't return and no I'm regretting it.
Live Chat gets no response at all.. This was with two agents. Phone number can't be accessed through Ireland even though they have a laptopsdirect.ie site.
Lastly they require a uk phone number to ship a package to the uk. I've tried 4 times today and all have been cancelled and rejected stating I've to call a uk number to verify my order.
Please do avoid this company, nothing but hassle and no communication.
Bought a refurbished, Samsung laptop from Laptopsdirect.ie in mid-June (+€750). Initially when no laptop arrived, I contacted the company and what I had paid for ‘Express Delivery’ was refunded to me! Delivery was by a company other than the one notified in their email and some few days later than promised. However, the Laptop arrived with the screen not working! Various calls later, I managed to get permission to return it and I opted for a refund! Collection of item took over a week, and now over two weeks following its collection, Laptopsdirect.ie have not received it and are chasing it with their Courier service!!! Very stressful!
Laptopsdirect.ie is actually based in the UK, not in Ireland, so forget about a quick delivery or a smooth purchase process, if you live in Ireland, in my experience. I have had to chase Laptopsdirect.ie by phone at every point, dealing with support staff from all over the world, and have neither a laptop nor its cost! Dealing with Laptopsdirect.ie has brought me nothing but stress, delay, and disappointment! Their email communication was frequently factually incorrect, but at least they do eventually take calls at their support centre.

Worst service ever. Laptop arrived faulty, 5 times pickup was arranged before it was collected. Company takes no responsibility for issues, constant chasing on phone wasting mine and their time to get affirmative action. Copy and paste emails most the time returned, no understanding of previous case notes. It's called a CRM, teach your staff how to use it.
Still waiting on refund.
Laptop was listed as in stock and a few days later there was a price bump on site, but now seller stated they were out of stock and couldn't supply, but on the site, the product was still in stock. They offered to switch to a worse laptop. Not a good practice to force a cancel when they could profit more from selling it to another, never buying nor recommend anyone to.
I was sceptical after I read some reviews! But for me everything was very good works well! I used a 16mm drill bit to get the wires out, set up the app for positioning the cameras. Great system. Really happy with it.
Lanarica was extremely happy and had my case sorted and closed in a matter of minutes. She was very easy to talk to and very understanding of my situation. I was promised a call within 8 business working hours, she called me within the hour. Thanks a million for your help!
I don't like ordering expensive things online but the laptop I wanted was on sale and I could save hundreds by ordering it online so I took a chance.
I was really worried after reading some of the negative reviews on this site but it worked out quite well. One small hiccup was the system would not allow me to claim the 10% discount mentioned on the website and it took one very long phone call to get this sorted but it was credited to my account within a few days.
If I was ordering again, I'd ignore the order tracking. I paid to have mine delivered by 30th May. Laptops
Direct originally said it would arrive on 25 but I didn't think that was very likely and I was right. Every day I was told it was coming the following day until the tracking app showed it had arrived in Belfast. I phoned the courier company and they said they would give me two hours notice and it would be there that day. It didn't arrive and they said it would arrive the following day. Then they said it would arrive on Monday. It arrived at noon on Saturday 28th. I didn't receive any notice at all.
I've been using it for four days now and it seems perfect. I'd buy from them again.
Give us our money back!!!! My partner bought a laptop a convertible one that can change into a tablet. We payed for express delivery it was anything but express it arrived about 2 weeks later.
Then only to find out it was dead on arrival 😡😡😡😡 he just wants a replacement not even the refund it was supposed to be grade a1 condition. The thing won't turn on!!
This is b*lls*it 🤬 nearly 700 euros, including the delivery which was around 20 euros. And he did not pay with PayPal. Now at this point we just want a refund. But no sign of one coming what on earth do we do. It's within warranty. These guys are Cowboys. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered tablet 4 weeks ago….. after payment I noticed a 2nd separate transaction on my credit card. They had gone and charged me for two products I had not ordered. Should have been a red warning sign!! ( After contacting them I did get this money refunded).
Paid for express delivery and 3 weeks later no tablet! Numerous phone calls and emails. Delivery date kept changing. The latest….the tablet is supposedly now out of stock!!! However when I checked their website it’s “new in” but over €200 more expensive!! Don’t know what to believe!! Am being refunded the full amount I paid …. Since then an issue as they didn’t refund correct amount. Had to get on to them numerous times… over and back to try to get the full amount. More than 4 weeks after initial order I’ve finally been refunded in full. I know with certainty I will never go near this site again and I advise you not to either. Beware!!!
