THE best for leather bags and custom work
I contacted The Leather Satchel Co. To see if they could create a custom bag to house a detachable steering wheel as a gift. Shaun got in touch with me very quickly to discuss my ideas and even suggested they see if they could adapt one of their designs to suit to get the bag quicker. Sadly that initial idea didn’t work, however Shaun came up with a solution.
Fast forward a phone call and over 40 emails to get the exact ideas made into a bag, we now have the most beautiful bag ready for a very special Christmas present.
Nothing was too much for this company to do, and they respond so quickly. The craftsmanship is extraordinary and the bag really is amazing. I would 100% recommend this company for custom work OR for their designs on the website. They really put so much pride into their work and this shows in the presentation of the products, the quality and the service they provide.

Fantastic service and product
I ordered a leather backpack and it is fantastic. While waiting for it to be produced, the customer service was amazing at answering my questions. The packaging and attention to detail were impressive, and I truly felt like The Leather Satchel Co. appreciates its customers.

Incredibly crafted
The craftsmanship on this bag is incredible, and they took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. The turnaround was really quick as well, considering that it was fully customized. I have no doubt I will keep this forever!

This is a great company to deal with. They are family owned, answered all my queries by text or email quickly and ensured my music case arrived in time for me to avoid a courier company leaving it on my doorstep whilst I was on holiday. The case is beautiful, really good quality leather and craftsmanship and made by hand, to order in the UK. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We called in to the workshop to have a handle fixed to my satchel. (my husband neglected to choose this option when he ordered it)

I love The Leather Satchel Company. Bought a festival satchel earlier this year and have just bought the Envelope Clutch. Used it last night when out celebrating our anniversary and it fitted all that I needed. Going to use both on our next trip. Staff are lovely and bags will last a lifetime. Can’t recommend them enough.

We're so happy you think the bags are of "Exceptional Quality" with "Beautiful Craftsmanship" and that they are 'Perfect" for everyday use.
That's almost exactly what we are aiming for! (...we just also include 3 extra requirements which are creating them in a sustainable method, with ethical manufacturing, and an affordable price tag.)
We'd love to know what else we could include to get that last missing star to change your experience with us from a 'slightly better than average' 4 star review to a "Wow, I love this company and the way they do things - 5 STARS!"

I cannot fault The Leather Satchel Co. I have purchased my second bag and I am over the moon with it. The delivery time was accurate and I was given updates along the way. They even popped in a beautiful gift with the order!
Having so much choice on the design makes it so personal to you. You can order swatches for a low price which can then be offset against the bag cost. You can choose between silver or gold hardware and any pockets you want adding. I’ve also loved the option to monogram the bags and have done this on both bags. I really appreciate that the bags do not have brash logos across them and have an elegance that you won’t find anywhere else.
Finally, the customer service has been excellent both times, especially when I needed to change the bag strap length!
