Beware this company sells items that they don’t have in stock for months!!!
I purchased a 26”inch voyageur for my upcoming trip. I received no bag and had an email from the company telling me they don’t have this item in stock till the end of May. As I very disappointed with this situation I requested a compensation for my bag and received an insulting £15 off offer for the delay of 2 months which I think is very poor for the value of the bag which is 280.
They refused to compensate me in any meaningful way and then refunded me after a full week. Disappointing experience BEWARE!!
I don’t think they have customer service.
I have attempted to return a suitcase. I received it, it wasn’t really for me. I followed the instructions on their website and requested a return, multiple times. They have not replied. After some research I tracked down their phone number. The phone plays hold music and hang up on me. Do not buy. Their customer service is t just disappointing. It doesn’t exist.
Not cheap but built to last and travel
Ordered two suitcases - one large, check-in bag and one carry-on. Both arrived promptly, suitably boxed up and in perfect condition.
Clear that the suitcases are well made and have nice little touches like zipped pockets on the divider and a built-in lock. Capacity is huge and maximised for the size of each.
Have had both for almost a year and taken them on a variety of trips including flights, cruise and train. Easy to move around, no damage despite rough handling and the bright yellow colour means it's easy to identify at baggage reclaim.
Are they expensive for what you get? Probably a little. But definitely cheaper than having to keep buying cheaper cases that get damaged every few trips.
Shocking quality - avoid
Absolutely awful quality - wish I’d gone nowhere near this brand.
Product arrived scratched and marked - and within one use it’s already scuffed and looks 10 years old - so much for scratch free. Customer service non existent - absolutely avoid.
Arguably illegal order filfillment policy
Astonishingly incompetent customer service structure. Deliberate avoidance of legally required product returns viability. Zero order fulfillment capabilities beyond low cost automated bot functionality. A thoroughly frustrating experience that could have been quickly resolved with a single human oversight and interaction.
unacceptable quality issues
Shipping took quite a long time at first. In general, the backpack "Atlas" looks quite good.
However, this was defective, and immediately in three places, with not properly sewn zippers.
I complained about the issues and they said, I should send photos. No sooner said than done.
After the photos of a hole at the bottom were made, in addition to the front two pockets, where the zipper opens, they do not offer an exchange or refund, but says "We would like to know since it won't affect the using, can we compensate and offer a partial refund of $25 instead?"
For a new backpack worth 129 EUR and a promised "lifetime" warranty, quite questionable. (Order No. 21552)

Paid for a black Friday promo of 3 bags ($400) this was November 17th 2022.
It's now 21st of November and they're saying it's out of stock until end of the year, but it's in stock on Amazon and the reason they can't use that stock is because the sales teams have different KPIs. But can cancel the order and order from Amazon if I want (although it's more expensive on amazon in the US + it's not available on EU amazon.

Customer service is bad
The product itself is fine, at least of what I saw when it arrived. The size was not what I expected and after contacting customer service for a return address, first they offered me 20$ discount for keeping it. I replied that I would prefer sending it back and I never got an answer.
Never received the product.
I wish I could review the product, but sadly can only speak to the lack of customer service or meeting its advertised timeframe for shipping.
The ordering process was simple and with the overwhelmingly positive reviews online linked from Amazon, it seemed like a worthwhile experiment.
I waited one week before contacting the company about missing the advertised shipping window and was initially told the logistics company had not provided level8 with the correct information. This answer seemed suspect at best. Later that day I received an e-mail stating that because of the region the product was ordered in there would be delays, and a subsequent e-mail saying there would be more information within 24-48hrs (which was not accurate) The product was ordered in Spain and specifically said "in stock for delivery to EU / UK". Now 10 days have passed and I've asked to cancel the order and await a reply.
The e-mails received so far feel like half form-letter and half translation app. Different parts of the messages feature different phrasing, typeface, and color.
Despite the claim on the company's website that "LEVEL8 is an NYC-born brand for luggage and bag" A look at the New York State business directory lists Level 8 Group Corp as a foreign business.
If you get away from the Amazon reviews, you discover more experiences similar to mine.
extremely noisy wheels
decent looks, but definitely worst in class for the trolley's wheels. Advertised as smooth and quiet, they are extremely noisy on all surfaces, it's a cheap production. Travelling a lot, the deafening sound of the wheels of a small trolley make it impossible to use.
Would recommend different brand if you're a frequent traveller.
Scam company Level 8 sucks!
I can’t believe the internet isn’t flooded with bad reviews of this company! Level 8 luggage! Customer service is brainwashed! I received the suitcase I was unhappy with the size - I noted you have 5 days to return an item! Glad I decided quickly- they take 24-48 hours to send you return info - I reboxed in the exact shipping box they sent it to me in and they said it arrived damaged!! And if it was a fantastic suitcase why was it so easily scratched??! The distance between my house and the warehouse is under 100 miles! They sent me the return shipping label so I can’t file a shipping claim they need to. They WILL NOT get a supervisor to assist I believe they are a TOTAL SCAM!
Massive waste of time
Awful customer service experience, to the point I had to cancel the whole order. How can companies get this bit so wrong? Told them I could only order if I got delivery by my travel date, was told I have to actually place the order and then call to check if this is possible, did so, and they didn't answer any calls all day. No replies to emails. Finally, get a call late at night from Cambodia and someone who cannot even assist. A day later get an email to say actually the case I ordered, despite being confirmed, is out of stock, offered me another, I begrudgingly agree, still no confirmation of delivery date, still no answer on the phones. Hours later I get another email saying my replacement they offered isn't available either! so offered a THIRD option and by this time, we've lost days and the delivery would be past my travel date. What a massive waste of time. This company won't last long operating this way. Shame.
