We signed up and paid the yearly subscription in full. We were given a wrist alarm button. Then someone sent my dad a neck pendant without authorization and tried billing us monthly for that. We sent the pendant back and we are still fighting this. They are relentless. Do better please.

1.You never catch her when she falls
2. You send ambulance when she’s sound asleep and not moving a lot.
3. You keep calling a non existing phone number. You call her voiceover number that only has her medical alert system plugged in to the internet phone line. You could never get that figured out.
4. Your equipment has failed every time she falls. She can’t fall on carpet it won’t pick it up. She can’t fall slowly (example trying to catch herself falling) your system

I had to use my Medic Alert about a month ago because I was dealing with a case of food poisoning. I live alone and was unable to get to the hospital. I used the Medic Alert and the attendant answered and dispatched the Ambulance immediately. They transported me to the local hospital and notified my daughters of my trouble. The system worked as designed. Thanks to Medic Alert.

I called to ask questions about my contact list and got a person that had an accent and spoke so rapidly I could not understand what she was saying. I informed her of that and it got worse so I eventually hung up with no answer.

This company is a scam if you try to cancel the service. 5 months after cancellation and sending the unit back they are still billing us for the service and the device after admitting that they received both the cancellation and the device back. On top of that they want to take up to 30 days to refund money that they should not have charged in the first place. They are using peoples money in a very questionable manner. Don’t use this service!!

I wish I could give 10 Negative reviews. This is ridiculous. They are taking people’s money!!! Everytime I call there’s a different date that they have started processing my refund. 30 days from this day, 30 days from that day, another 30 days! DO NOT BUY!!! They are scamming people.

I highly recommend you do not purchase anything from Medical Alert. My elderly father purchased a Medical Alert system. After receiving their equipment, we discovered the unit would not charge properly. Further, we discovered some of the features we were told it had, it did not. Both issues were acknowledged by Medical Alert staff. When we originally purchased the equipment in June 2025, they charged my dad's credit card the same day. After returning the equipment less than 2 weeks later, it has taken 8 phone calls and nearly 3 months to receive not quite a full refund. I was informed today they are withholding a $35 restocking fee. Really?!? They are charging a fee to restock their faulty equipment. I hope my review will help other families make an informed decision and cause the Medical Alert staff to re-think how they treat their customers

I've called twice to try and get a packaging label to send you your device back.But both times I have not received an email to print the package label.This is annoying.

Have called several times to Customer Service so that the service can be suspended while the wife is in the Hospital and / or Nursing Home for OT & PT Rehab service. They always disconnect me when they "say, please hold on while I connect you to that department". Then have also been trying to get a invoice / bill for 2024 & 2025....must be the same Department as I am always disconnected.
