Broke within 3 weeks. Horrible customer service

My husband got me the Maia for Christmas. Even though I was a little irritated he would spend that much money on something I was sure wouldn’t work, I ended up loving it. This product is not going to be what you expect. The warming function is poor & the massage function does not feel like a massage. It’s actually painful & leaves you sore the next day. But I am someone who feels relief when targeted pain is applied over top of my chronic pain so it worked for me. I didn’t even open the box until mid-Jan & it stopped working on 2/5 & at that point it had been failing for a week! I cannot believe these companies have the nerve to sell products at this price that last for 3 weeks. I emailed Nomisk on 2/5. They never responded so I emailed again on 2/12. They responded on 2/12 asking for the order #. I responded on 2/13 with the order #. They responded on 2/13 & asked for more details & videos. I responded on 2/13 with the requested information. They responded on 2/13 asking if I’d like to try another unit & requested my address so they could send me one. I responded on 2/13 with my address & really positive feedback of their junky product. You would think a company would aim to keep customers who like their product happy? But I never received a response & of course never received the replacement. I emailed them on 2/28 to follow up & they still haven’t responded. Today is 3/5. One month since the product broke & longer than it actually worked. Absolutely horrible customer service. Total scam. I can’t believe they’ve lasted this long but I guess any business can make it with fake TikTok reviews. I will definitely be sharing my experience since this company stole my money.

30 days return window for a period relief - doesn't make sense..

Bought this as a birthday present for period pains and as most women probably know, this happens about once per month (28 days or so). So when the time to test it and the conclusion was that it's merely a heating pad with none of the magic attributes that Nomisk sells it as, we want to return it but we were met with a "Sorry, the 30 days are up". This is a very strange policy for a product that is meant for something that literally happens almost every 30 days. If you are to buy it, be sure to wait until a few days before your period, so you have a chance to test before the return window closes.

DONT BUY

I received the Nomisk Maia for Christmas. It worked great for about a month and then the heat stopped working entirely. When we went to ask for a replacement or refund they had us send in video of how the product was dysfunctional and then told us it had been past the 30 day return period and they weren’t going to help. It seems to me that they know they are selling poorly made products that will break after the short return window. I would recommend steering clear of this brand and buying one of the Amazon products for a quarter of the price.

Fake reviews, low quality, false advertisements

It's an expensive product to buy without ever trying it on and I think the company knows so they use words like "try risk free" and "100% money back guaranteed" - which, if you live in the EU, it's by law any way.

What they don't explain is despite having an EU address, they ship their products from the UK so you are faced with extra customs fee which brings the product cost to way over 120€. As a company, they fail to do one or more of these things:
1. Pay the duties instead of leaving the customers to pay for it (Lots of UK companies who sell to the EU do this)
2. Use their real address in the UK or explain that it ships from there so EU customers would know they would need to pay for customs
3. If they really have EU HQ why not send the goods from there?

The product itself looks sleek but it's so loud and annoying. Does nothing for cramping or back pain. Literally, to quote another review, "a piece of trash".

So wanting to get a full refund, I contacted customer service and of course shipping is on me, which would have been fine if it was EU based. But now I would need to eat up 60+ EUR loss if I were to return it from the taxes + shipping.

I WOULD AVOID PURCHASING AT ALL COST. A hot water bottle and a noisy youtube video is what this device is.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! I returned Nomski Maia, over 5 weeks ago. Despite receiving an email confirming my refund would arrive within 5 days, I'm still waiting 4 weeks later.

The product is not fit for purpose; it's very noisy and the heat is barely warm.

I've emailed multiple times with no response. Be very careful. Personally, I would never order again from this company.

Scam? Will not refund after return

I bought this as a gift and the recipient wanted to return it. I communicated with the company support via email and provided necessary pictures before returning. I returned and tracking shows delivery confirmed over a month ago. I have emailed them 3 times now about the status of my return and refund and have had no reply back. This company seems like a scam.

I ordered this as a Valentines day…

I ordered this as a Valentines day present on February 5th, and it still hasn't come. I just received a notification today that it shipped! February 21st! I tried multiple times to call and sent emails to the company with little or no reply. Order product at your own risk!

Stopped worked after 2 days

My husband bought me this for Christmas and I was so excited! The first period (I used it on and off for two days) it worked great. Then it stopped heating altogether and wouldn't stop flashing. At first customer service was helpful, but when their suggested trouble shooting didn't work they just ignored us. They won't respond to our enquiries and it's been a month. So my husband spent a fortune on something that worked for two days. Not okay.

Terrible customer service

As far as the product goes, it's pretty handy, though the massager only lasted a month, and my girlfriend has tried to reach out and talk to someone about it via e mail and instagram and no 1 has replied, this has been on going for over a month, really bad service.

Ordered 3 things- bad

Ordered 3 things: neck, head and lower back massager. Waste of money, the back massager is junk. Asked for a refund they denied it. Also took 3 weeks for shipping so it didn’t arrive in time for Christmas. Dont recommend this company or its products at all.

Incorrect Address on DHL Tracking for Order #NOM188161

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and frustration regarding a recent issue I encountered with my order, as well as the response I received from the customer support team.

Upon tracking my recent order with DHL, I discovered a significant discrepancy in the listed delivery address. The address provided to DHL was Brunnenstraße 1, whereas the correct address, as indicated in my order receipt, is Brunnenstraße 16. This oversight led to a failed delivery attempt, causing considerable inconvenience, particularly as I had intended to present the item as a Valentine's Day gift to my wife.

Despite promptly contacting customer support and explaining the situation, the response I received was highly unprofessional and dismissive. The reply I received stated, "Unfortunately, it looks like your order has already been processed or shipped from our warehouse. Therefore, I am unable to make any changes to it at this time." This response fails to address the issue at hand and displays a lack of empathy and understanding of the inconvenience caused.

I expect better service and communication from the customer support team. Address discrepancies and failed delivery attempts reflect poorly on the company's reliability and attention to detail. Furthermore, the dismissive response from customer support only exacerbates the frustration and disappointment experienced by customers in such situations.

I urge you to provide better training and support to your customer service representatives to ensure that future interactions with customers are handled with professionalism, empathy, and effectiveness.

Nomisk are a company full of lies

Nomisk are a company full of lies. I ordered this product before Xmas. It arrived, we tested it and it was useless. It was returned on January 10th with the order number as requested and they're refusing to confirm they've received it despite the tracking showing it has been returned. I have contacted the bank to investigate. The only real reviews on here are the 1*s, AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Bought nomisk product as a gift

Bought nomisk product as a gift. Shipping was fast, however, had to return it as the person it was for didn’t want it. Communication was very good at first when I had emailed to inquire about the return process. I shipped it back, having to pay for my own shipping ($60 later) with the promise that I would get refunded within 3-5 business days. We are going into day 8 and I have yet to get a refund. I emailed nomisk twice, expecti by a quick response as I had got in the past, and nothing. I’m quite upset. Highly advise NOT TO BUY from this company. They are fakes.
