Service and price professional and friendly well done

Contacting the company and receiving a priced quote was fast and efficient, placing the order was welcomed surprise price drops and fast actioning in the delivery process, customer service was outstanding friendly and welcoming we will support this business in the future again. Tim our consultant was professional and friendly helpful and kind.

Great service and product knowledge

I recently needed to install a wireless alarm and camera system at my premises, after a spate of antisocial events. Contacted Online Security Products and was amazed by the knowledge of their products, who skilfully assisted me with the correct items to buy.
I received and installed the equipment and along with the after sales technical support, was up-and-running quickly.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! I bought something in November, and 3 months later, still no refund! 😡 Customer service is AWFUL – no "hi," no "thank you," just blame, blame, blame! They sent the wrong item, then blamed *me* for the refund delays! No refund because of the box? The manual? The wrapper?! Seriously?! Avoid this company! #Refund #Nightmare #CustomerService #Avoid #Shopping

Thank you for your updated review—though we note you've only removed one word from your original feedback, leaving the rest intact. Since you've raised the topic of "truth" and customer service, let’s walk through the events one last time, with the clarity and transparency we pride ourselves on.
• Timeline check:
You placed your order on 4th December, not in November. It shipped on 5th December and was delivered on 6th December. Your return request came after hours on 13th December, which we approved the next working day on 16th December. Detailed return instructions were emailed on 17th December, but unfortunately, we closed for Christmas (as did the manufacturer) from 22nd December to 2nd January, causing unavoidable delays. We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused, but festive cheer must take priority sometimes.
• Condition of the return:
When the item arrived back with us, it was neither new nor in resalable condition. You claimed damage during transit but only informed us two weeks later—far beyond the required notification period for courier claims. We still liaised with the manufacturer on your behalf to accept the item, absorbing the cost ourselves. So no, we didn’t “blame, blame, blame”—we resolved, resolved, resolved.
• The product:
You purchased a Videx 3390 VDS handset—exactly as advertised. If you were unsure of its compatibility with your setup, a quick call or email could have saved the headache. We’re always happy to provide guidance. Unfortunately, Videx doesn’t offer a “one-size-fits-all” model, so your expectations that it would magically fit your existing setup were, frankly, optimistic.
• Review specifics:
Your review accuses us of being a “nightmare,” and while we understand frustration, labelling our company as a scam, implying wrongdoing, and posting under the guise of an organization is misleading at best.

If we were indeed the “scam” you originally claimed, it’s unlikely we’d have spent so much time and effort trying to resolve your issue. Scammers don’t typically accept returns, write letters, or handle their own legal threats—they’re usually too busy sipping piña coladas on a beach somewhere.
On a serious note, businesses like ours rely on honest feedback to improve and serve customers better. False and exaggerated claims undermine that process and harm reputations needlessly. We’ve gone above and beyond to resolve this issue, refund your purchase, and accommodate your concerns—even though the product returned to us was damaged and unsellable.
We kindly ask you to reflect on your review once more and consider revising it to accurately reflect the facts. A touch of fairness would go a long way for both parties involved.

Great company

Have used this company for years for the large CCTV systems in our business. They have always been very speedy to respond to queries and deliver goods, and are amazing at resolving any issues that have arisen.

Online Security Products and "Tim the Great"

Tim - what can I say this guy is over and above brilliant - excellent, or any other words you can think of, just A1 from start to finish.

Our company Derek Doorbells Ltd were trying to locate an door entry intercom system box, 20 years old, we managed to establish the maker and model.

After emailing Tim with the details and pictures, and explaining what is was, within in 10 minutes we'd established what it was, what we needed, and then ordered it at a reasonable price.

So can praise company or Tim enough it saved the company "Derek Doorbells LTD" and their customers a costly full system replacement.

If you in the market for this kind of stuff, it's just one stop shop, Online Security Products and hopefully you'll get "Tim the Great" like we did.

Low price but top quality service

We needed a replacement keypad for our Videx entry system. Online Security Products quoted a price much lower than we had been quoted elsewhere. As we had not dealt with them before we were unsure what to expect, but we need not have worried. Tim Wilkinson saw us through the ordering process and the items duly arrived and have been satisfactorily installed. Incidentally, the people who installed them said they would not have been able to obtain them from their usual suppliers for the price we paid!

These guys know their stuff

I have made several purchases from OLSP.
The guys know their kit and their service is second to none. I don't normally leave reviews, but these guys deserve it. I will be back soon.

ALWAYS 100% TROUBLE FREE

We are installers of automated gates and we purchase all our intercom systems from O S P, the next day shipping is a major bonus. I have had occasion to do a warranty claim and a return as I ordered a non-wifi panel and never had any issue whatsoever. The most helpful is the speed they pick up and answer their emails.

Outstanding Customer Service

Outstanding Customer Service! I ordered a security keypad, which was out of stock, on a Thursday afternoon and following a phone conversation with one of the team I was assured it would be delivered the following day. I had it in my hands by 10am on the Friday as promised. Fantastic service - Thank you!

Calm courteous CCTV sales aftercare

Tim Wilkinson at Online Security Products took away the mystery of setting up a CCTV system, he guided me through each process with courtesy and calmness. Online Security Products sell quality products, I have the spare time & I like to price match and no one else came close to the system recommended at this price point. We opted for the Genie system, who are a well-regarded British based company. Next day, we received a well-made and beautifully designed piece of kit that includes the recorder, camera, and the wall bracket. Tim had listed for us the additional plug & play ethernet cables we needed, only a few extra pounds from another online seller. Setting up the system at home is intuitive if you have ever unpacked and put together a home computer or TV/DVD set up, same principle. With bonus of logical printed instruction plus outreach to Tim to answer questions that reassure and compliment the written instructions. We can add more Genie cameras if required. For us, the personal sales aftercare via swiftly answered email replies from Online Security Products is a huge bonus to a quality purchase, thank you Tim.
