Good quality Product, easy to assemble

was looking for a louvered pergola, after looking locally in WA found pergolux on line found their product and service very much to our liking

Our third purchase. Great product and service.

There was an issue with my online order - for some reason it wouldn’t process my credit card. I called their number and got connected to a very helpful person who took the info from the web page and put my order together and took my payment. She threw in a free heater for my inconvenience - she was extremely helpful.

The Pergola S2 arrived via courier approx 2 weeks later (Perth, Western Australia).

My kit was the 3M x 6M with 5 screen blinds, LED lights and the heater. I was able to download all instructions prior to taking delivery and watch the instruction videos. This was very helpful. Once the kit arrived and we started unboxing, and I started to understand the labelling of the boxes and hardware packets, it became a complex but easy to follow process for construction. Myself and a young nephew took around 10 hours to construct it all with lights and heater working and remote programmed.

Everything went according to the instructions. The only thing I needed to modify was enlarging the cutout for the cable entry from the lights and heater into the beam. Also, the rivnuts on the centre beam (3 x 6 pergola only) are a touch finicky - hard to align the bolts into it and, as rivnuts are super problematic if cross threaded, it’s really important to get the holes aligned. I’m not sure the rivnuts were installed to proper compression as a couple of them started rotating under normal threading. A quick tweak with a rivnut tool compressed them properly, though I did need to grind one out and install a new one.

Super happy with how the unit looks and operates. It’s a fantastic product.

Would be nice to see Pergolux removing non-recyclable materials in its packaging - paper rather than plastic/shaped cardboard instead of foam.

It's a great product, in terms of its design and construction. The Customer service provided by the team at Pergolux was excellent. An area for improvement is the assembly/installation. Rather than customers engaging recommended local installers, it would be better if the installers were subcontracted by Pergolux to do the installation. This would improve the accountability and competence of the installers and improve the dispute resolution process regarding poor installation methods and practices. In the end I had to effect the remedial work on the installation myself, despite having a recent hernia operation. All because the installation contractor would come back and do a 10 minute fix!

this was a perfect fit for our area by the pool, assembly was easy, it took about 7 hrs but was doing the majority by myself. the only issue i had was with the delivery, the transport company had emailed me earlier in the day & asked if anyone was going to be home & asked where to leave it if no-one was home, when they arrived, they rang & said they wouldn't deliver as no-one was there after saying no-one needs to be there so had to arrange another time.

Having already purchased at Sundream Pergolux, it was time to install 3 drop down blinds. Order was done by phone with service team, and once again 10/10.
The delivery could have been better, as it took 6 days from pick at Pergolux to deliver.
Installation of blinds is not simple, and install documents can confusing, a video of installation would be better, but having already done the initial, did help.

The staff at Pergolux were fabulous. Heidi was lovely.
The delivery company, Hunter Express were appalling.

Like pretty much all the reviews I’ve read, the pergola is great quality and looks fantastic. If your not very handy you will find it difficult to install, we managed but it took a weekend of work.

Not such a Wonderful product.
The construction is NOT as easy as suggested and takes way more than 2-6hrs. due to poor manual.
The manual seems good at first, but is actually not great, it is difficult to get the details for the exact model. The drawings do not quite do it.
There are also issues with fittings that don't fit, an essential screw(strange shape) that does not fit into the beam and it was suggested I drill into the beam. This sytem is supposed to involve NO manufacturing.(If I drill wrong I will have to probably replace the entire beam)
The motor for the louvres had to be replaced (this was done by Pergolux with no problem)
Technical assistance from the company is not great.

Super fast delivery. I ordered on a Tuesday and the pergola was delivered by the Thursday of the same week.
Product was good quality and relatively simple to install. Very happy with the finished product.

Well designed, well packaged, fit and finish and quality materials. The 'deal' was good and transaction easy. Contracted freight service had issues with tracking and delay but quickly forgotten as the construction came together.

We Just love the product it has a great finish and was easy to install on the down side the delay form ordering to delivery was a bit frustrating but what the heck we have a great new pergola for Xmas

Good product and very helpful staff when we called with a problem

The friendly team at Pergolux were super responsive to all my queries and where technical support was required they were able to connect me with the appropriate individual and provide a suitable answer. The product - quality is incredible and instructions are easy to follow. I customised the lengths to my requirements and his was easy enough assuming you have some knowledge of joinery and metal working.

We are so happy with our Pergolux. Will and the team were incredibly helpful and the end product has stood up against the recent cyclonic winds in Melbourne.
