After not being able to use my car after breast cancer surgery, my car battery died. Scott was brilliant and sorted a new battery out for me but also re programmed my central locking on my keys. When you’re going through something like I’m going through I can’t stress enough how grateful I was that he was able to resolve the whole issue without any stress and with a great attitude. This is the second time I have used the RAC at home service & find it competitive & convenient.
I have given a 4* rating however as I did have a bit of bother with the booking process this time which is unfortunate. My quote never reached me & the date for the work came with a first text notification, but not an update & in the end after waiting in all day, no mechanic arrived. It took another phonecall to sort & rearrange. However the service by the mechanics is worth it, & I will most likely use the RAC again.

Very pleasant and efficient mechanic, who explained everything very clearly. Unfortunately he was unable to fix my car as the problem was not as expected. However he assisted me in booking my car into my own garage, explaining to them what needed to be done next. My review reflects the excellent service given by the mechanic despite the failure to get my car back on the road.

The mechanic kept me informed about his eta. He was polite and efficient.
