Zelfs wanneer je geen gebruik maakt van hun diensten willen ze nog steeds 49€ per jaar uit uw zakken slaan, ik heb al 10 jaar niets van printer, scanner werk enkel met mijn eigen materiaal en nog dreigen ze elk jaar met boetes omdat ik zogezegd niets aangeef, doe jullie best en kom maar kijken. IK BETAAL AL GENOEG!

Schandalig hoe deze onderneming elke jaar ons probeert geld uit de zakken te slagen en echt elke keer zelfs moeilijker maakt om zelfs maar hun aanvraag in te vullen. 1 het paswoord van vorig jaar veranderen ze zodat je je aangifte niet kan invullen. 2 als je hen erover aanschrijft wordt je naar hun site gestuurd waar je 3 nog eens een hele form moet invullen waar je dan een geautmaiseerde mail van treugkrijgt dat ze je vraag gaan behandlen ??? Konden ze dat dan de eesrte keer al niet doen.

I have the same experience as many of the other reviewers in this section. REPROBEL / bizili is a TOTAL SCAM! It's unbelievable that they can be allowed to get away with this and send threatening letters, especially when the "service" they offer is not necessary. Report them to the police and the authorities, because they are NOT legitimate and you DO NOT have to do anything they claim in their letter.

Ongeloofelijk hoe ze mensen willen oplichten. Vriendelijk zijn ze ook niet, dreigen doen ze ook om geld te kunnen krijgen.

Dit ruikt naar afpersing.
Ik heb geen printer, neem geen kopieën en alles wat ik naar klanten verstuur is eigenhandig gefabriceerd materiaal. Toch word ik door de aangiftestappen geloodst alsof het bij voorbaat bewezen is dat ik beschermd materiaal verspreid, met daarbovenop de dreiging dat ik zeer zware straffen zal krijgen, tenzij ik mijn geld aan dit louche bedrijf afgeef, dat er vervolgens niks mee aanvangt behalve zichzelf royaal in stand houden.
Een nulaangifte is quasi onmogelijk en de toon van de communicatie lijkt op die van een amateuristische scammer.

Ongelooflijk dat dit een officiële instantie is, communicatie is zeer commercieel en soms dreigend. Er wordt ongelofelijk veel geld verspild aan papieren aangiftes en meer dreigementen...

Een nulaangifte doen wordt ook elk jaar omslachtiger.

Het bedrijf is er gewoon om onrechtmatige auteursrechten te innen, die waarschijnlijk toch niet bij de rechtmatige auteurs komen.

Reprobel is a scam, they have been continuously sending letters threatening with legal obligations: If I don’t affiliate and pay, I will receive legal sanctions. I have contacted them after their 1st letter, having asked a number of questions, they quickly closed my file without any answers.
Recently I got a new letter from them, threatening that I must declare the legal obligation and pay before 15th December, otherwise I risk to be inspected. I decided to come to their office in Brussels, located in Tour&Taxis, no one there, completely dark, door locked, no one answered door.
I am going to report them to Belgian police and fraud control authorities to prevent more people falling into their trap.

If the letter from a company starts with “this is not a scam”… then usually it is. This is Reprobel aka bizili

This company seems to contact all freelancers (very small companies) listed in the Belgian KBO and then demand money from them. Reprobel presume a small company will rather pay them than get a lawyer. Legal protection insurance is probably cheaper than paying them an annual fee to go away: But they do not go away and keep asking for money every year.

They ask companies to pay circa €35-€50 depending on your presumed use of copyrighted material, which likely includes the browser cache on your computer such as if you read a news website like VRT, or even visit a Belgian public website etc. Of course, probably a scam.

If you log in with the username and password they sent you, then they have got an audit trail, and will ask for money.

They claim they are working on behalf of the government and their letter lists all the statues that gives them a right to audit a company. Except it is not true.

Anybody can register a domain name, company, and send out 100s of thousands of letters. The police should contact them instead.

Niet duidelijk. Geen goede ondersteuning door de klantendienst. Programmeerfouten in het aangifte process. Droog een factuur in mijn mailbox gekregen. Uiteindelijk betaald omdat ik er simpelweg vanaf wou zijn. Erbarmelijke ervaring. Op het einde van de rit nog steeds niet helder of dit al dan niet 'wettelijk verplicht' was door de complexiteit en de manier van verwoording. Zeer ontevreden.
