Extremely poor service. Advised they would call back. Well they don't! No call back from reception or surveyor. Based on this initial contact where a simple call would have been fine, I would not recommend giving them your time or business.

Terrible service, no communication, no response to phone calls to office or mobile or emails. Delayed my house going up for sale for 4 days. Don’t use them.

I used Shepherds to organise a lease for my beauty salon in Helensbugh.
With existing staff member taking the business forward I didn't advertise but I felt in very safe hands with Alasdair guiding us through the process.

If you want your property seriously undervalued this is the company to use. Completely hopeless company & surveyor doesn’t speak makes it more challenging when asking questions.

I chose this company as I had used them before however on this occasion it has been the most stressful process ever. The chap that visited my property asked no questions and has made a whole load of assumptions on my report. Also when confronted about this no resolution was made. He also undervalued my property when I asked to escalate this further nobody bothered calling me to discuss my issues even after telling them I am going on the market to sell the next day.

I waited for a call nobody called so I accepted the report as is due to having to sell mines for my next property. I also called a number of times explaining the urgency but nobody called back.

Recently dealt with Shepherd to secure a commercial property for let in the West End of Glasgow.

They were always fairly approachable and quick acting unlike done of the other letting agents I approached.

Don’t know even how to start..HARDIES EDINBURGH BRUNCH being contract administrator field on so many levels… leaving family with a child after 12 months of renovation after leak with not functional , still in process of drying property with totally wrongly installed kitchen including not correctly fitted sink so no ability to use it properly , not sealed and connected compact laminate worktop, kitchen units squeezed so no ability to open them properly, massive crack in splash board , not installed glass splash back or actually missing ( even it was delivered by kitchen supplier ) so no ability to cook on gas cooker safely, broken shower ( no ability to use it ) , damaged bathroom walls and massive crack in child ceiling!!plus two months of delays witch ruined our family financially.

Never trust companies which cooperate with insurance companies, hire independent loss assessor who works for you.

Fast to deal with enquiries, quick turnaround with quality reports. What more can I say!

I received an excellent service from Shepherd Chartered Surveyors. I would definitely use there service in the future. The gentleman who surveyed my property was professional and I received my survey very promptly.

Both staff who carried out the survey were professional, polite, courteous and helpful at all times and informed us fully when our survey would be available for review on completion.
I would have no qualms in using Shepherd surveyors at any time in the future should the need arise.

Survey was done as expected. Only point was they mentioned wood bore infestation detected but didn't say where it was found on the survey!
