Very efficient trouble-solving customer service.
I had a jammed combination Skyflite suitcase. I called Lucy of Customer Service who sent me the instructions which I followed- and click the new combination worked. I was worried as locksmiths are rare nowadays.Helpful customer service officers too are few.
But Lucy is a great troubleshooter.

Couldn't open the combination lock on a new cabin case and it didn't respond to the instruction label.
A quick call to Lucy at Skyflite and she emailed me detailed instruction and a photo immediately.
Easy to follow and all sorted within five minutes of email. Thank you.

I experienced an issue with a damaged suitcase and contacted Skyflite. Their customer service was exceptional – they responded promptly, resolved the matter with no hassle, and even sent replacement suitcases straight away. I was genuinely impressed by their professionalism and efficiency, as well as the care they showed throughout. It’s rare to find a company that goes above and beyond for their customers. Highly recommended!

I had the same issue as Mr Watson. The top handle were broke off after my first flight.
Where can I purshase a new handle for this brand new case in South Africa?

Had an issue with locking mechanism getting some damage whilst traveling. Was able to email company and get assistance very quickly to resolve problem.

We were off on holiday and I went to pick up the brand new large sky flite suitcase which was 20kgs (baring in mind the case was 4kgs) to carry it from our front door to the taxi and the handle snapped in my hand!
I contacted Skyflite via email asking for advice and/or a replacement handle. I was told by their Director that they didn’t carry or offer spares. We weren’t offered any replacements or refund despite the fact that according to the consumer rights the product is clearly not fit for purpose.
Surely a suit case should be designed to be able to lift more than 20kgs without the handle snapping?!
The customer service is rubbish they just "fobbed me off" and the email response I received was a one sentence reply with no concern of their product being faulty. I replied to them pointing out it was an obvious engineering failure then I received a further reply which I got the impression was just a generic email response that they have used many times and are disinclined from assisting in anyway.
The manufacturing of these cases must be very poor for it to be unable to lift 20kgs so I must assume that anyone who purchases these can't have much luggage to take away with them!
So in summary if you require a suitcase that is going to last and be fit for purpose DO NOT PURCHASE A SKYFLITE SUITCASE!!!!!

i have recently started travelling all round and have used many cases in the past, but in my honest opinion i have not come across a case as good as skyflite, i am a person who likes style wherever i go and their cases definitely match every style. i have never found any trouble with the products even after years of using one of my cases it still works same as the first day i purchased it. would 100% recommend!

I recently travelled with my new Skyflite suitcase and couldn’t be happier with it. The build quality is outstanding – it feels sturdy yet lightweight, and the smooth wheels make gliding through the airport effortless. The interior is really well thought-out, with plenty of space and compartments to keep everything organised.
What impressed me most was how well it held up after multiple flights – no scuffs, no broken zips, nothing. It still looks brand new. Delivery was quick, and the whole experience from ordering to travelling was seamless.
I’ve owned a few different luggage brands over the years, but Skyflite is by far the best.

I brought a Sky Flight Continental suitcase from TK Max on Saturday 12th July this year at a cost of £89 although this was significantly below the RRP. The case was large and looked really good.
We flew back from Tenerife to Birmingham Airport last Friday. Now bear in mind this case has done one trip! Upon collection of baggage the bag was missing one wheel!
We contacted Skylight via email asking for advice and/or a replacement wheel. We even offered to pay for a wheel. We were told by their managing director that they didn’t carry or offer spares. We weren’t offered any replacements or refund despite the fact that according to the consumer rights the product is clearly not fit for purpose.
Surely a suit case should be designed to last more than one trip and should withstand the rigorous bag handling. Worse still the customer service is awful if not nonexistent. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.
I have heard from Sky Flight and the reply is plain to see. Their recommendation is to claim on insurance and/baggage handling. Bear in mind this suit case didn’t survive ONE TRIP. To suggest I claim on insurance is farcical since the excess is greater than the value of the case. I urge anyone not to buy a case from these guys they don’t care about customers or it seems their reputation or legal obligations with regards quality of products and suitability of use. TERRIBLE!
No other product/manufacturer could get away with suggesting customers claim against insurance for a product which isn’t strong enough to withstand the rigorous or the purpose for which it was designed. Honestly, it’s laughable.
Bear in mind all other manufacturers supply replacement wheels. To suggest they will consider doing so in the future is simply not acceptable. They have not addressed my issue. Why not replace the case? I’d be totally embarrassed if I were them but it seems that they are shameless.
I see poor Andrew Watson suffered the same fate as me. Case lasted only one trip. Poor man!
I don’t believe some of these other reviews posted. Probably done by Skyflight customer services or employees. There is no way these cases are built to last. Buy a light weight IT case available from Tesco, Mattalan or TK Max. They supply replacement wheels!
Honestly, this company has no shame and certainly doesn’t care about the customers once they have purchased. Sad thing is if they supplied the replacement wheel and a disclosure saying fitted at customer ms own risk I’d have been happy but no! Now I’ve got to throw a brand new case away!!

I purchased two Sky Lite suitcases (one extra-large, one large). The extra-large broke on its very first trip - a wheel came off, and the shell was cracked in several places. The large suitcase broke on its second trip - a wheel split in half.
Both times, Sky Lite refused to take responsibility, instead blaming the airline. They seem to rely and protect themselves heavily using 'policy' and that damage is always the airline’s fault; despite both cases happening within just one or two uses. This clearly points to a quality issue.
I attempted to escalate the matter, in the hope I may be able to speak to someone who was in a position actually help me, but was told I was already speaking to their Head of Customer Care, which left me at a total loss of how I would receive any fair, or just, resolution. There was no way she was going to ever see, or acknowledge, anything to do with the very clear fact that this was a quality issue - and just kept telling me the dual-damaged suitcases was a mere coincidence. And the fault of the airline. A suitcase should be able to withstand normal travel conditions - the fact that both failed so quickly is unacceptable.
If you want a suitcase that lasts, avoid Sky Lite. Poor build quality, incredibly disappointing customer care. There doesn't seem to be any 'care' whatsoever.
In response to Sky Lite’s latest reply - which only reinforces their complete lack of responsibility, care for their customers, and unwavering self-defence - I want to set the record straight.
I was never unwilling to follow their customer service process. In fact, after the first instance of my suitcase breaking, I followed their instructions exactly. Unfortunately, I missed the very short (just one week) deadline to contact the airline for compensation, assuming - rightly - that the fault lay with the suitcase’s poor quality. I decided to let that go, although it didn’t sit well with me.
However, when my second suitcase broke on only its second trip, I contacted Sky Lite’s Customer Service again, making it clear this was a product fault - not an airline issue. Instead of understanding, I received what felt like a robotic, uncompromising, and disinterested response from the so-called Head of Customer Service. If this is the standard at the top, customers have no hope of receiving fairness, support, or accountability from this company.
My advice: Do not waste your money or time on Sky Lite. They do not have your back. They are neither helpful nor understanding. They care only about avoiding responsibility and refusing compensation for their poorly made products. Spend your money elsewhere.

Needed a suitcase for my travels this summer and these guys were excellent!
Easy to talk to, great customer service and ticked every box I needed. Not to mention, it’s good quality and it’s been to the states and back with me.

Bought a large Skyflite suitcase. Second use and ripped at corner TOO easily on a BA flight. Fortunately BA reimbursed but really, 2 uses!. Rubbish quality. Also another one has split tyre wheel that cant be replaced. We walk past that range now.

I bought my Skyflite cases through TKMaxx so have no real redress through Skyflite but had hoped they would have wanted to help with broken wheel replacement. Unfortunately no, despite us being perfectly happy to purchase this part. Disappointing as we bought a matching set and one is now unusable.

I have nothing but good things to say about Skyflight luggage. I bought a set of 3 and they have been on a fair few trips overseas by air.
The locks all work, the wheels are all definitely still intact. Robust sturdy luggage which withstands the rough treatment endured at airports.
Would definitely recommend and buy again.

On my first flight using the case the lock system did not work and the side handle of the case was broken when retrieved. A little disappointed as I payed around £60 for this case but as it still did the job I kept it. Used it on some train journeys and this was okay. Fast forward to my most recent flight and received the case cracked and missing a wheel. On the way back the case wouldn’t zip without splitting and ended up having to wrap my bag in fear of it opening. I do not believe that these issues are due to airport mishandling. These cases are just cheaply made and unable to withstand normal handling procedures ! You can get much much better for the same price

Superb Customer Service
My recent order of the set of three Corniche luggage trolleys had one missing upon arrival.
I contacted Skyflite and spoke with Lucy who empathised with the situation and arranged for a replacement to be dispatched, whilst honouring the discounted price, with 'next day' delivery guaranteed that arrived the following day.
Fantastic customer service shown by Skyflite, and especially Lucy, to resolve the situation at the earliest opportunity!
