Very poor after sales…

Having read these reviews I find myself agreeing with each of them! I did much the same and reached out to both the place of purchase, Boundary Mill and Skyfite. The same reaction from both… not interested unless you have the receipt! I don’t. So no service from either company!
I can accept that there maybe issues with the quality of a product… faulty zip, faulty handle and so on… manufacturing does occasionally throw up these issues, what I can’t accept in this day and age, is poor after sales service and quotes about “the law says this”… if you care about your customers, who cares what the law says? Surely good will counts for more!
There are 69 million people in the uk so you probably don’t care about one (or two) customers bad experiences but you should! I and my family won’t shop at either place again and I will tell anyone else I speak to of these experiences!

Absolutely terrible quality

Bought one of their suitcases brand new during a trip to the UK as mine was overweight on the way there. The first time I used it, just before our flight, the zipper broken leaving large gaps in two places on the suitcase and attempts to fix it just made them larger. As it was around 3:00am, just before an early morning flight, I was forced to fly home with it wrapped in plastic and a luggage belt, hoping it would hold.
I reached out to the company who stated that their 5 year guarantee only applies if I return the suitcase to the original place of purchase (with the receipt) - which isn't possible as I'm in another country.
Overall, the worst quality suitcase I have ever owned.

We’re really sorry to hear about your experience.

Skyflite cases come with a 5-year guarantee, but for purchases made before September 2024 (when we began selling online), any issues must be handled through the original retailer with proof of purchase.

Returning the case to the retailer is standard practice, and we don’t currently have a distribution or service network outside the UK.

Totally disappointed!

Totally disappointed!! I saw my friends with something similar so I decided to buy. Unfortunately, mine is not as good in quality the zip all falling apart and keeps popping open. I am totally disappointed with this product. I won’t bother to use it. I will be using my old ones for my trip. Old but very reliable. I bought the whole set and I call it big for nothing. Total waste of my money. I will keep looking until I get something nice and decent.

Just to clarify, Skyflite only began selling directly online in September 2024. If your case was purchased before that date, it would have been through an independent retailer, and any issues or guarantee claims would need to be handled by them in line with their returns policy and our 5-year guarantee policy.

All of our suitcases come with a 5-year guarantee against manufacturing defects, which is valid with the original retailer when accompanied by proof of purchase.

Please note that Skyflite only began retailing online directly through our website on 30th September 2024.

As your suitcase was purchased prior to this date, it would have been sold by an independent retailer, and any issues should be reviewed in line with our guarantee through the retailer.
