Wonderful customer service

Lucy at customer service confirmed that a faulty wheel was covered under the guarantee. She then spoke to my retailer and I received a full refund. I have spent my refund on an identical Skyflite case as I think the quality of the case and the after sales service are excellent.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before buying two Skyflite Rapide cases from TK Maxx, I would not have bought them. After only two trips one of the wheels was broken off. Skyflite were not interested at all and do not do replacements wheels. I would be interested to know if anyone else has had a similar problem and managed to find replacement wheels. Even from TK Maxx these are still relatively expensive cases and I would expect them to last. I will not buy this make again.

Ich liebe meinen Skyflite

Ich liebe meinen Skyflite, er hat mir schon auf mehreren Reisen treue und gute Dienste geleistet.
Selbst Extrembelastungen wie mehrere Zugfahrten quer durch Europa nahm der Koffer problemlos.
Er ist robust, die Räder sind leichtgängig, die Griffe bequem zu tragen/zu schieben, das Innenfutter ist sehr gut verarbeitet und mir gefällt das Material sehr gut.
Kann ich bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.
Daher volle 5 Sterne.

RUBBISH PRODUCT

RUBBISH. DO NOT BUY.
Skyflyte have managed to cheapen the quality of their suitcases to the point of uselessness. First Outing abroad using a reliable carrier and the suitcase turned up at the destination airport broken beyond repair. On internal inspection, the absurdity of the build was apparent. Absolutely unadulterated cheap rubbish. Held together with plastic rivets through totally inadequate plastic backing.

Never buy this rubbish!!!

I have been sent these 3 times by damagedluggage.com to replace broken cases on flights to and from the UK. Since being sent this utter rubbish, I have to claim for broken luggage after every flight I make.

Garbage

Garbage. Don't often leave reviews but people need warning about this brand. This is the worst quality item I have bought in a long time, fell apart after one use, utter garbage. Bought from TK Maxx so i assume its not fake but if I'd have bought this from a looky looky man on a beach for £5 i'd be chasing after him for a refund.

Handle fell off

Bought a suitcase from tk max last year. It was smooth running and a bright colour, making it easy to spot on the conveyor. We used it at Xmas and was fine, however when we used it in may this year the handle came off in my hand and the case went crashing down steps to apartment. Upon inspection it was easy to see why, the screws holding the handle on barely screwed into the handle. We took the case back to where we bought it and at first were reluctant to give us a refund. After speaking to there customer services we were assured that if we took it back again they would give a full refund... which they did.

Poor Quality Case

Suitcase was a replacement offered by Airline following damage in transit. Very cheap case and not half the quality of the damaged one. On using it for the first time, two of the wheels broke rendering it useless.

I received a reply to my review (please see it below) TODAY😳
It took Skyflite six months to compose this reply , I don’t think they should have bothered, poor product and equally poor customer service.

Poor quality cheap product

The only reason I have a skyflite case is because I had to claim for a new case through TUI as my original case was terribly damaged on their flight (it had been a really good case). The new skyflite case arrived (I had no choice in the make of replacement case) and it is so flimsy and the supposed hard shell is soft. It’s supposed to be a sturdy hard shell case! I’ve read the reviews and don’t even dare use it, knowing that it will fall apart on first use. I am so disappointed with TUI that they can use such a poor company for damage claims. Shame on them!

Customer service doesn't exist

A lifting handle on my case has broken. I wrote to them asking for assistance to replace it. The reply was a blunt "We don't supply spares or repairs. See guarantee." How pathetic.

Never buy this product

Just bought today 18–Nov-2023 at 11:06, from TK Maxx at Westfield shopping mall, arrived airport security check in at evening, lock didn’t open and security team broke lock. It was default settings 000, didn’t open. Very cheap and wastage of money.

Guarantee is worthless

A wheel of my roller Koncept 9000 case broke off on my first use leaving just the metal spike the wheel was attached too while in transit. Had my old Timberland case for 7 years no issues. One use of this case and quality is very poor. Guarantee is worthless as doesn’t cover ‘in transit damage’ - its a suitcase - its only in use in transit!

Extremely poor quality hard case travel bag

Extremely poor quality hard case travel luggage.
First rubber handle on the side broke off on the very first holiday. The second one, on the top, broke off on the second holiday.
Moreover, the hard shell got bent/deformed, inside netting came loose, threads holding the zip came apart - all that after just two trips.

Poor quality suitcase.

Poor quality suitcase.only the second time I used this suitcase and as I lifted it onto the weighing scales at check in at the airport the handle came away from the suitcase. It was only attached to the case with a single screw on one of the brackets. The other screw had missed the hole in the bracket thus weakening the handle Contacted skyflite direct and they just directed me back to the supplier. Waste of time, I only asked them to send me a spare part. I wouldn't buy another as it was obviously not checked properly by their quality control department prior to delivery, and having read the other reviews I see that there are other problems as well. I did take it back to the supplier and got a replacment but not a skyflite. A lot of time and expense wasted.

Really disappointed in Skyflite suitcase

Really disappointed in this suitcase. Purchased from Boundary Mills for a trip to Egypt. The lock was broken before we even arrived at Heathrow Airport, the zip fell off during transit and once we arrived in Egypt the inside material was ripped. On the same night I emailed customer service and was advised to take to original shop with receipt. Unfortunately I did not have a receipt but bank statement showing the transaction.

Arriving at Boundary Mills I was offered a like for like replacement. I informed customer service I do not want another Skyflite suitcase! She allowed for me to exchange it for a tripp suitcase. Let's hope this one lasts longer than 1 trip!

Very poor quality. Avoid purchasing a skyflite

Broken lock

The lock broke and was jammed on my case when I arrived on holiday so had to get it broken off. I originally brought the case in Sheffield when I was on a trip. I have now been told I need to take the case back to the original place of purchase to get it swapped. A 4 hour round trip. So its a no no. Only purchase if you can get back to the shop you purchased it from easily.
