I used to like this company
I used to like this company. This is a service that I do not NEED to survive. It is a nice thing to have but not necessary. But three times since last November I have gotten shipments that I did not order. And the company has not done one thing to make me feel like a valued customer. I have called but been told there is no way to cancel my order. I must refuse the delivery. This is not an easy thing to do. UPS just leaves packages outside. They don't come to my door to notify me that they are here. And it is often raining when they come. Therefore, it's difficult to leave a note to tell them not to deliver it. They have the worse customer service I've encountered.

Incredibly Fast, Kind, and efficient.
I reached out to figure out why a discount was not added when I placed an order. I was just inquiring, but within the hour I recieved an email that everything was taken care of, and the discount was on its way.
I love the product
I love the product, especially for keeping cans out of landfill. However, I have 4 cylinders as over the years I have needed refills and didn’t have an empty canister with me so just bought one without exchange. I alternate between 2, so needed to return 2. I didn’t even necessarily want deposit refund, I only wanted to dispose of them without putting them in the landfill. Turns out this is not possible. After many emails with sodastream and suggestions from them to go to various stores, I have been unable to return them. Stores will only exchange, not just take back empties. I asked sodastream for a shipping label so I could return to them and they also refused saying I could get a label if I ordered more. Their customer service rep was very good about trying to help me, even calling stores in my area to see if they would take them (one said they would but refused when I took it, even after I showed them the email saying they would). And with the price of gas it’s far too expensive to drive from store to store looking for someone to take them. My suggestion to sodastream is to establish a depot for return in cities so they can be returned easily. Looks like mine are going to end up in landfill and that defeats the purpose of using them!

Wanted to change my subscription date to 3 months out and ended up with a 6 month delivery. Customer service was no help
Excellent customer service
My sodastream machine was not holding pressure and carbonating the water.. I called the customer service line and they tried to troubleshoot the problem via a video call. As no replacement parts were available for my machine, they offered to send me a brand new replacement unit. You can’t ask for anything better!

I love the ease of having the online subscription service for exchanging cO2 cylinders and ordering flavorors. Melissa did an outstanding job helping me resolve my order and subscription issues. I was unable to do it and she went above and beyond. 100% recommend!
SodaStream puts out a very good product…
SodaStream puts out a very good product and an efficient gas replacement service. However, they are eager to penalize customers with fees for tardy gas canister returns. They should have a way to check with the customer about the gas replacements rather than automatic penalty fees.

Recently, my order went missing in transit, likely due to some adverse weather conditions. When I contacted SodaStream, I was offered a full replacement at not additional charge. The response from their customer service agent was fast, professional, courteous, and painless. There are many companies who could learn some customer service lessons from SodaStream. Fantastic customer service
I have been a happy SodaStream user for MANY years, and my first-generation sparkling water maker had lasted all that time. Then, obsolescence happened. Expired carbonator bottles needed replacement, which then required an upgrade to a compatible new model machine, which in turn necessitated switching to quick-connect CO2 canisters. An extremely helpful Customer Service person, Sanele, swiftly guided me via email through ordering all these new components, offered a nice bundled price, including a refund for surrendering my old (full) canisters to Target. We became short-term pen pals.
My shiny new Terra machine and bundle arrived a few days later. Now I can continue to be a happy SodaStream user!

The return of my canisters was mis posted. I reported it and by the next day the situation was corrected! Prompt response is so important... and not having to follow up time and time again!

I am VERY satisfied with the quality of support I received during my recent call. I am also very happy and impressed with the level of customer service and professionalism that was displayed in the follow up email that I received from Gabriella after our call. It seems like that level of customer support is rare these days. I have used SodaSteam for about 15 years and I very much look forward to continuing. I drink 2-3 liters of carbonated water per day and I love being able to carbonate my own (filtered) water, rather than purchasing it at a store. Thank you!!!

Soda Stream reponded fast to my request to an extension to my time for returning empty bottles. They have given me an extra 30 days to return the necessary number of bottles to return, according to the rules with automatic refills.
