I have a subscription for Sodastream. I only use the service for fizzy water because it increases my water intake without using plastic but having used the syrups they're not for me, I just want fizzy water. I have always ensured to return my cylinders when required but despite this I have been charged for non-returned cylinders on three occasions. On all three occasions it has been confirmed by Sodastream that they have received the cylinders and that a refund would be sent. On one occasion I received the refund immediately. On two occasions I have not received the refund and I've had to chase for almost six months to receive my money. The emails I receive state they are working on a resolution (and try to sell me more product) but all I want is the money that was taken on error and that they have agreed is owed to me.
I provided bank statements to prove no refund has been received.
I actively discourage people from this subscription. The service is poor and they take additional money at every opportunity.

You now have to return an empty canister to them within 90 days of purchasing a new canister. It's hidden in the small print at the end of a long order confirmation email. Due to their inflexibility I will have to stop making Sodastream purchases and will use CO2YOU in future. Unless you can use your canisters within 90 days I suggest you look elsewhere in future.

Your cylinder booking-in process and charges for 'late or non-returned' cylinders... well, let's leave this is for another day.
But, BUt,... BUT.TT..TTT... SODASTREAM... ...
(Being very polite here...) WHY ON EARTH ARE WE NOW HAVING EVRI DELIVERY SERVICE DELIVERING OUR CYLINDERS??? !!!!!!!!!!
Using DPD their delivery service is great... we absolutely cannot fault them at all. 👍👍👍
BUT, EVRI... they're still expecting receipt of the new to-ship cylinders now after 3 days (!!!) let alone getting it through onto our doorstep.
Let's be absolutely and brutally honest here, EVRI AS A DELIVERY SERVICE CAN BE SHOCKINGLY APPALLING (yes, it does depend on the professionalism of individual deliverers doing the rounds) BUT EVRI'S BACK-OFFICE SYSTEMS and CUSTOMER SERVICES (more like chatbots and their slanted Q&As...) are just a JOKE (oh, and where are the real humans contacts?) 👎👎👎
SODASTREAM... PLEASE!!! don't use cheap and unreliable delivery services based on financial costs... you'll just end up losing customers... 1 ⭐ for this... 🤔🤨😵💫🫣😭

The delivery service works well as does the customer service but the returns process is terrible. On more than one occasion I’ve been charged for cylinders that have already been returned. I then have to chase this up to get a refund. I even rang customer service when I got emails saying the empty bottles hadn’t been received and was told they had received them and to ignore the emails as they were automated. A few weeks later £30 was deducted from my account and I had to call again to get refunded.
Very frustrating, now looking to try and find an alternative supplier.

I’ve had no end of problems trying to exchange my gas cylinders. I had a subscription and, despite returning the empty cylinders on time every single time, I was charged on every occasion. Each charge was only reversed after I contacted you.
Then, without any explanation or notification, SodaStream cancelled my subscription. I only discovered this when no delivery arrived and I was again charged for supposedly not returning cylinders. I returned them and once more, I had to chase this to get it reversed.
I did not set up a new subscription after that and chose to use the gas exchange service instead. I placed an order on 4 April and have contacted customer support twice, yet I still have no cylinders.
I simply want to be able to use the SodaStream I bought from you. Given the time and effort I’ve already spent fixing repeated errors, that does not feel like an unreasonable expectation.

Really happy with the support at SodaStream, in particular Debbie who helped me with a mistake that I had made. Even though I had made a mistake, they made sure that I wasn't charged and provided me with information to help me make sure that I didn't do the same thing again next time. It goes to show that some companies listen and can empathise and I'm incredibly happy to be able to continue my subscription.

Good experience with Soda stream, firstly I thanks the person name Lungile Majola for her friendly response and good communication, the parcel which was arrived damaged from Yodel has been replaced and received today with DPD express delivery, Yodel delivery driver was very rude when asked about the damaged parcel, I request Soda Stream to investigate this matter so that other people would not suffer in this kind of situation. Hope that matters.

sodastream's UIX is mind-numbingly awful - if you just want to ask a simple question about an order - well you can't

I have bad experience with delivery driver left parcel in wrong place.

Good service - mostly. However - it is very expensive, and they have dramatically reduced the number of shops where you can return cylinders so it has to be done through the post now, and they will frequently not acknowledge your returned cylinders.
3 times now, a parcel of 4x cylinders has been returned to Sodastream by us but marked as never returned, so we have been charged £120 for their error.
Have tried to contact their support but just end up in a queue for too long.
