Response to my online chat request was prompt and pleasantly polite. I was unaware of delivery restrictions (weekends) and appreciated being advised prior to placing my order. Delivery address was checked and confirmed for next day delivery.

Wish I had read the reviews before I placed an order. This company came up as being local to Vancouver Island, it's not it's in Ontario. I ordered an upgraded wine gift basket for my dad's 70th birthday and chose his birthdate as the delivery date which the website gives you the option to do. The basket showed up 10days later through UPS from Ontario and when my dad opened it the wine bottle had been shattered inside its box and had leaked out all over the other perishables items in the basket, soaking and destroying everything and one pack of biscuits was already growing mold. I contacted customer service several times and they keep telling me that they need to investigate it with their courier company first. My sales agreement is with them, not their courier company. I did not get what I paid for so as I see it a refund is the only fair option and then they can continue to internally investigate the courier company all they want but I shouldn't have to wait for that. I also highly doubt one of the drivers/employees that handled the package from Ontario to BC is not going to stand up and take responsibility for dropping it. It's been a couple weeks now and I have yet to hear anything regarding their "investigation" so I have now filed a complaint through paypal hoping they will return my money since I paid through them. Do not use this company, this whole situation has just been a huge disappointment. It was my dad 70th, I was so excited for him to receive this and it was just a waste of money, none of it was edible and customer service is useless.

I found the website easy to use and customer service was quick when I identified an error that I made in the shipping address. I will follow up with another review once the gift has been received.

I placed an order online for a gift basket for my father, who is a senior and lives in Arizona. I placed the order on the Canadian website, because it assured me that I would be able to have it delivered. It was meant to be delivered on December 23, 2025, it never showed up. I just checked in with the live chat with the gourmet gifts and they said that they had a backlog with UPS and they didn’t send it. This is obviously unacceptable and way way too late to find this out. Plus! The fact that I had to reach out to them to find this out is ridiculous. I asked them if I’m going to get a refund, and they said in 7 to 10 days they would process it. I asked for some sort of proof that this refund is coming, and they said yes in 7 to 10 days you’ll get an email. Totally unacceptable, would never use this company again and I do not recommend.

EDIT Jan 10, 2025: After much back and forth, and starting a bank dispute, I received a refund.

The recipient was delighted with this gift package. Other than having billing information messed up the ordering process and delivery were timely and efficient.

Gourmet Gifts are great! I entered the wrong shipping address on my order. I emailed them as soon as I realised. They responded within 10 minutes, corrected the error and waived their usual fee because I am a first time customer. If their product is as good as their customer service, I'll be very happy!!

Love the variety of gift baskets to choose from. Quick response and turn around time. Will order from the Gourmet Gifts in the future.
