Terrible experience - buyer beware! I paid for one day shipping and the item wasn’t delivered until a week later. Customer service was no help. When the item finally arrived, the custom gift basket that I spent time selecting each item was missing an item, half of the items were substituted out for inferior products (mostly maple flavored), and my gift receiver said most items were inedible. They ended up throwing out most of the gift basket items because they tasted gross or stale. What a waste of money! Will never be using again.

Honestly, I do NOT recommend to order with The Gourmet Gifts or any other company unless you're sure their staff are smart and intelligence not to screw up anything. This is the first time and the last time I ordered from The Gourmet Gifts.
Placed the order of a gift basket (with cheese & red wine) on Oct 3rd to be delivered to a business address on Oct 10th, I sent a request to make sure and received a confirmed email the basket could be delivered on Oct 10th between 11am to 6pm i.e. the business hours of the recipient's shop.
I was happy for the fast response and kind assistance from customer service until this morning.
UPS informed me the delivery address is incomplete or incorrect, I emailed and phoned both UPS and The Gourmet Gifts, UPS said The Gourmet Gifts didn't provide the full address vs Gourmet Gifts said they provided the detailed address of the recipient, I don't know which party is not telling the truth, maybe both parties but UPS sent me the address they received from The Gourmet Gifts that is not the complete info I put down when submitting the online order.
Anyway, it is supposed to be received today but ended up to be delivered on the 15th (hopefully) since no weekends and no stat holiday, 1 business day to update the correct address and next business day out for delivery.
The Gourmet Gifts told me to contact UPS myself and suggested my recipient to pick up the basket, what's the point to order online for delivery then, it is supposed to surprise somebody now everything is ruined. Plus, the cheese is sitting at room temperature over 24 hours, it is a waste of money to send cheese, not sure about the red wine, quality might have changed too.

Very pleasant to speak to and very courteous. There was going to be a delay in the delivery due to non deliver during a certain day, so they waited to ensure the fruit would be as fresh as possible before the pick up date. Good products and even upgrades the basket at no cost, when all of the items wouldn’t fit.
