It’s rare to find something that feels both classy and comforting, but this gift nailed it. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to spoil someone with a touch of luxury and a lot of taste!

Wish I read these reviews before ordering, as I would not have used this company. I ordered a gift basket for my mother who was in hospital. When it didn’t arrive, I contacted the company several times but was told there was nothing they could do because it was already dispatched. I am in Vancouver and the website falsely implies that they have a local store. When I tracked the order I saw it was in Ontario! I paid an additional $20 for express delivery. The basket arrived 10 days after it was supposed to, and the items in the basket weren’t the ones I ordered. I filed a complaint with the BBB but The Gourmet Gifts never responded to them. How to get this company shut down? These people should be ashamed of themselves.

If I could give a ZERO stars I would. Unfortunately, like many of the other reviewers, I was scammed into thinking this was a local provider of local goods but their misleading website and switching products (chocolates and cookies for fresh fruit which I ordered) is only the beginning of the deceitful practices it engages in. The recipient cannot eat any refined sugar and the company was unapologetic about the switch. I too believed my order would arrive on time having ordered it 5 days in advance of delivery requirement and am told via tracking that it will arrive 3 days after the birthday for which this was supposed to be a surprise. Upon closer review, I also see that 2 other items that I ordered have been substituted with items the recipient cannot eat. And I was not notified of them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY under any circumstances. I wish I had read these reviews beforehand. What a scam.

We wanted to send a Custom Gift Basket to our son for his birthday. We specified to Gourmet Gifts that it had to be delivered on his birthday which was May 26. We were never told that this was not possible and understood that it would arrive on the requested date, otherwise we never would have ordered it. We just got an email from UPS saying that it would be delivered on June 4. It still has to go 5000 Km overland. We thoughts that Gourmet Gifts would have representatives putting together baskets in major cities across the country. I wonder if the cheese and mangos that we ordered will be rotten by the time they get there. I understand that it may not be possible to deliver the basket on the date requested but we should have been told this at the time of ordering. We definitely feel like we have been scammed.

Took my payment and then failed to notify and deliver on the requested date. This was for a funeral with several people in attendance. They were 5 days late. Customer service was terrible blaming it on busy weekend. No calls or offers to reconcile. Do not order from this group.

Ordered a gift basket for my wife’s birthday. Selected the available delivery date. Gift never arrived and two days after it was due to be delivered I now get a shipping notice saying it has shipped and will here in 5 days. They don’t keep to their promised delivery dates or respond to any emails asking for updates. Atrocious customer service

I was looking for something special for my cousins birthday and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I have to say they absolutely nailed it!

The gift basket I ordered was beautifully arranged, and everything inside was top-quality. It had the perfect mix of gourmet treats, and the packaging made it feel really special. My cousin loved it, and seeing her smile made it all worth it!

What stood out even more was their customer service. I had a couple of questions before ordering, and they were super helpful and responsive. Plus, the delivery was right on time, which was a huge relief.

Used this company several times and they were terrific !!! On time and delicious !!

I ordered a gift basket for Christmas and it has never arrived. The company will not refund it as it says it is not responsible for anything. Customer service actively lies and sent me an email indicating it is delivered, and when I contacted them and directed them to their own tracking which indicates the package is not delivered/lost, have no explanation. Avoid ordering from this company as you will not get what you paid for.

I ordered a gift basket for my clients at 9:27PM on Dec. 17th and I was ensured that it would be delivered by Dec. 19th to Ottawa, $184.17 in total, confirmation #78VG90AUH. I was supposed to get a tracking number, which I didn't. I called my clients on the 23rd to see if they had received it, they had not. I called the 1-866-541-8889 number at 2:25PM and spoke to Alex who told me Canpar had picked it up on Dec.18th to be delivered. Dec. 27th I got an email saying my order#69891776 was "on the way". As of Dec. 30th at 11:39Am it had still not been delivered! The Gourmet Gifts are liars!. The people in customer service like Alex are liars. There is no one to actually help you, so save your money and aggravation, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM! I will report them to the BBB and any other avenue I can including social media to prevent other people being cheated by this firm! I have cancelled my credit card I used to prevent any other fraud from happening.

I am shocked at this company's lack of communication. I ordered a gift basket for my mother who lives in a different province. I placed the order on the 20th and paid a $55 delivery fee for "next day service" and my mother still has not received her gift basket on the eve of Dec. 30th! By the 27th I started to have a sinking feeling that I have been scammed. They seem to have a legitimate site, but I left a phone message and I have emailed four times with no reply.

Awful. Didn’t deliver the basket on time (before Christmas Day). Zero communication. I had to initiate everything to find out what was going on. Didn’t offer any kind of compensation (as of the time of writing this we still have not had the baskets received by our family and it’s three days AFTER Christmas). Not helpful. Told me I could call their third party delivery person if we wanted to find out what’s going on. Took no responsibility. Told me they could deliver no problem prior to Christmas. Ordered them 2 weeks prior. Awful company.

I have to tell you this is the worst experience and I will post my comments on line.
I got the “junk” in two boxes. I took pictures.
All broken and crushed.
One box was wet
These were gifts.
The card eclosed was ridiculous it was addressed to me and from me even though I specifically put the name of the party the gift was going to.

But most importantly was the junk that I received. You cannot send this type of “gift basket” out with a picture on your website and then the customer has to complete repack it. I even had to by some items that were damaged and replace them.

I will not purchase from you again.
