Had a consultation with Tom to go over my 12v system and safely add an inverter into the mix with RCD, etc.

I booked onto a consultation call with Tom after my brother recommended him. I needed some help solving some queries I had around upgrading my existing van electrics system to solar. He answered so many of my questions in an un-patronising and clear way and feel a lot more empowered to crack on with the job. As a solo woman, it's a pretty daunting topic and very easy to feel vulnerable to being ripped off or talked down to. Tom's passion clearly shines through and the community he and Charlie have built is amazing. So grateful for their guidance, circuit plan and parts quote plus introduction to the van community for future questions and knowledge sharing! Can't recommend them enough - thanks guys :)

Booked a 30 minute chat with Tom regards planning a electrical install for my new van. Very relaxed, obviously competent and only pointed me in the direction of alternative more expensive options with reasoning that made sense. I will probably go that more expensive route too. Over ran by 10 minutes and Tom wasn't stressed/ rushed with me. Gave me loads of confidence in them and will go with them. The pricing of the electrical system was also v competitive.Definitely recommend if you want sound, safe advice for your electrical install.

After three years of nothing but trouble with mostly the electrical side of my campervan (third-party conversion) I was on the verge of throwing in the towel to campervan life, as I’d had nothing but bad experiences. Then along came Tom at Tiny Build Electrics. He was highly recommended to me by someone who had had work done by him. He answered my distress call on his day off on a Sunday when I was stuck without electrics on a campsite. He spent hours talking things through with me, sending messages backwards and forwards, he was so eager to help. He showed compassion and empathy to my situation. I decided to go with him to have my electrics redone and he put me in touch with Charlie, who was going to do the work for me. They completely stripped out all the old electrics and started all over again with a complete new Victron system. Nothing was too much trouble. It was done in no time and Charlie talked me through every step of the way. They are completely professional, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and everything is done within industry standards, safety is everything to them. They were so patient with me as I had no clue about electrics and I had so many questions. Every message or phone call to Tom or Charlie was answered the same day, most of the time within minutes. After the work was done, there was a thorough inspection and handover to me with an explanation as to how everything worked. You’re not just another customer to Tiny Build Electrics, you’re part of an ongoing community for life. They will forever be my go to company from now on for all things electrical. I highly recommend them and can’t thank them enough.

From start to finish my experience with Charlie was excellent. Having bought a third hand conversion about a year ago, the DIY electrics were due an upgrade. With the very little knowledge I could provide, Charlie was able to fit a new improved and, most importantly, reliable system in a couple of days. During the build, he noticed the van starter battery needed replacing and happily went out of his way to get me a replacement in time to fit and test it. He kept in touch throughout and provided thoughtful opinions on where items should be fitted - so my shore power is stealthily hidden on the inside of my van but still fully accessible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charlie to anyone looking to improve their van electrical installation.
