Tough Leads Opiniones

Cable arrived well packed and works. Cost wise it is not cheap but MAYBE better than some of the competitors on the Amazon etc. There are some reputable brands but i did not want to risk it.

Delivery time was bad. Ordered 22 June, 29 June item was picked up and received only 13 July. It does say this is a small office but tracking/updates could have been provided without the need of remider.

Some people fear the company has winded down but i did receive my cable. To be fair, on the tracking reminder (I had no correspondence since order 22 june til 01 july) Adrian has responded swiftly.

NB! The Seller is in UK, so for EU we pay tax which ramps up the costs well above competitors!

All in all:
+ Good product (nice to support production in Europe basides the fact that the component are Chinese)
- Slow processing and delivery
- Due to slow processing, total price paid seems to be disproportionate
---
Overal 3 star, which is on a lower side but definitely short of 4

Again, that is subject to myself living in Europe not UK!

Not the chepest granny charger out there but very good quality. It seems very well put together and robust. If you want quality you have to pay for it and this is a quality product. So why only 3 stars? Delivery time, My order was placed and confirmed on Friday so I didn't expect it on Saturday or Sunday or even Monday but it wasn't even dispatched until Wednesday. It arrived at the Royal Mail on Thursday and finally got to me on Friday, one week after ordering and also after the courier was changed from DHL to Royal Mail to "speed things up".

I needed an 20 meter extension lead with a letterbox adapter for my EV charger on short notice. I contacted tough leads on a Sunday evening letting them know it was urgent. They made and dispatched it for me by 10:30 Monday morning. Product arrived Tuesday. Excellent quality and works perfectly as it should.

Excellent product and very helpful sales team to slightly change the order from their standard product supply.

High quality extension lead

Are these leads more expensive compared to Amazon? Yes, a little. Do I regret paying for the quality lead I recieved, absolutely not.

I did my research, compared multiple sellers and chose Tough Leads. I'm an engineer, when I pay for a functional product I have simple but high expectations... I can happily say the product was as good as I could hope it to be; certainly better than something shipped on the cheap from a big supplier.

Save yourself the pain and time of comparing sellers. Tough Leads deliver a quality product that is worth the money.

Quick delivery, good product

Great company! Worked out much cheaper to buy like this than have someone fit one. They dispatched same day and I received it the next day. Excellent quality, highly recommend!

Brilliant product very quick to dispatch would highly recommend

The communications with the Company were prompt and informative once I had ordered my European to 3 pin socket weatherproof adapter it arrived approximately two days later it was to plug my EV granny charger into. It worked perfectly fine with absolutely no issues well-made excellent quality and overall a good company to do business with I highly recommend them.

Fast reliable service, 2nd purchase as I ordered wrong size last time ( my fault entirely) good products

Great product and even better customer service. Communication was first class and very helpful to ensure quick delivery. Great company to shop with.

Arrived quickly.

I charge my Polestar regularly at the office so no real need for a home charger. I’ve once had to use a fast charger for a weekend top up and wasn’t impressed with the £30 it cost for 40%.

I tried a couple of extensions through the living room window with unreliable results. Setting the charge rate to 6amp and random cut offs.

Decided to order a 20m cable with RCD. It runs from a socket in the garage, under the door and all the way up my drive to the official Polestar ‘granny’ cable.

Plugged in with no issues. Now charging at 10amp.

Great quality, thick, flexible cable and waterproof socket with plenty of room for the oversized car cable to fit through and close securely.

Quick delivery and great price. (20m with RCD. £70 delivered)

previously wrote a poor review as our item hadn't been delivered. all sorted now, actually v good customer service once they realised what had happened

Dreadful experience using this company.
Never again.

Great service. I underestimated the length of the cable that would come with my car, I ordered and they went above and beyond to get ma home charging as quick as they could, I went for more length than needed, that’s my only regret I wish I’d got a bit shorter length on the cable!

If your looking for an extension these are the one

Lead came to me in a very quick turnaround, product was as described, very easy to link with our smart home system. Leads and components are of very good quality! Excellent customer service, highly recommend!

I ordered an English/French adapter for our hot tub yesterday morning, a last minute thing as we leave for France on Wednesday. It was manufactured yesterday as they had none in stock, dispatched yesterday afternoon and arrived this morning. Outstanding service in my opinion.

The Director, Adrian, couldn’t have been more helpful guiding me through the process of selecting the right cable solutions for EV home charging. After a series of email exchanges to navigate this new world of EV driving I am absolutely satisfied with the service and purchase of a granny extension cable to 3 pin plug that can fit through a letterbox. In addition the Tough Leads products are of the highest quality and will be my go to company for my future needs.

Fantastic quality shore line adapter, robust and solidly made. Fast delivery as requested despite bank holiday
