Renewed my subscription, thankfully I had the option to take multiple years subscription this year, whilst had some difficulty on the App rang and spoke to Ehsan who was very helpful and also talked me through resetting my app later in the day.
I have the tracker for insurance purposes but am happy to recommend them.

Not keen on internet but try a little to keep up.
Had Trackstar app on my phone.BMW while buying my car help set it all up.
Last week my wife and I decided to go on a road trip around GB.
I decided to see how Trackstar worked while I was on the road.
To cut long story short the app would not accept my mobile phone.
I could not get app to work at all.
I waited until I got home when I had my paperwork for Trackstar in front of me.
Then the dreaded moment. Speaking to a Tech person on a phone. EHSAN.
Normally EHSAN would be from another Country and my first problem would be understanding what the representatives are trying to tell me.
Well EHSAN spoke better English than me. Indeed he maybe English.
Then what he was going to say in Tech terminology .
As he checked me out and we got down to business , The Nitty Gritty, I told him my problem.
Bit by bit. even though I'm as thick as a Fruit Cake he went along, carefully and talked on my level until the final moment when he explained the last part. Sounded easy but I asked if he would stop on while I did it so as to get it up and working.
I was expecting a no.
Not EHSAN he said yes and we did it.
I was back up and running.
He was BRILLIANT, KIND, UNDERSTANDING AND CARING.
I've never been treated in such a brilliant way.
Never mind telling EHSAN please tell your CEO.

FIRST CLASS TRACKSTAR TEAM
For a variety of reasons, the Trackstar in my new vehicle was not functioning causing me some problems with my insurance company. The Trackstar team persevered over several days to resolve the problem, initially fearing that I had a defective tracking unit but eventually isolating and identifying the problem and solving it. This diligence saved me from my very unhelpful insurers who had announced their intention of cancelling my policy with very little time to fix the issue. The team at Trackstar were very patient and helpful - went that bit further - many thanks.

Great Service from Trackstar
I have been a customer of Track star since 2020 and have always found their operators to be very helpful on the few occasions I have need to contact Trackstar. I have found every interaction a positive experience, Trackstar operators being knowledgeable, polite and helpful.
Given the peace of mind knowing that my vehicle is monitored 24/7 all year plus the helpful messages I receive to confirm my vehicle location I have no hesitation recommending Trackstar. The app is helpful and easy to use.

I had a problem with my Trackstar…
I had a problem with my Trackstar giving me false alerts. I spoke with Emily and she was absolutely fantastic in helping solve the problem. She was very polite, informative and certainly knew her product. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Certainly five stars !

Is any body there!

Every time I just get put on hold with the 'elevator music' and after 20 mins of 'nothing' just give up again!!! Even tried to e-mail them but just got a reply asking me to ring the same number. Surely it should just be a simple task to just take my renewal money. Waste of time!

Beware of duplicate charging! Poor customer service...
For two years running Teletrac Navman have charged me twice (duplicate charge) for the tracking service, and each time they have behaved as if it wasn't their responsibility, and that I needed to verify the charge had been taken twice - it should be quite straightforward to see this at their end. Each time, it takes their accounts team several days to confirm that the charge was indeed taken twice, and then a month to provide a refund. The charge is hundreds of pounds, and yet they behave as if it is a minor inconvenience.
For any reputable company, you would imagine that they would apologise and check what had happened before ensuring that it does not happen again. Instead, they expect the customer to check their own statements to make sure they are not being ripped off.
When speaking to the customer service department to chase up the latest duplicate charge, the agent was openly laughing about the situation and about my obvious frustration with the process and with her attitude.
The message is clear: unless you manage a large fleet of vehicles that they provide a service for, they are not interested in you as a customer and you should think yourself lucky that they are willing to track your vehicle.

Tracker installation
To initiate the tracker you have to phone between 9- 5 Monday to Friday. You need to have the vehicle running for it to work. I had to leave my work early and was told that I had to drive around to get an O2 signal. After driving for an hour was told that the signal couldn’t get through. So having to leave my work early again tomorrow to drive around again to get a signal. Absolute nonsense

The procedure couldn't have been simpler- very good - would recommend.

The contact from them is prompt and…
The contact from them is prompt and efficient. The absolute downside is the actual fob. Very flimsy and when you drop it accidentally which can often happen the battery doesn’t stay secure in place leading to unnecessary alerts. Fob needs improvement.

I have a S5 tracker in my vehicle
I have a S5 tracker in my vehicle. However it does not do what it says on the tin.
My vehicle was stolen and the thieves have completely compromised the system. Trackstar cannot see it despite saying they have anti-jamming technology and VHF which cannot be jammed and can locate a signal underground.
When the thief jammed the signal I received no alert and I am guessing they did not either or was not monitoring. This is despite saying any tampering will send an alert.
The people in the operations centre do not care that my vehicle has been stolen and seem to have no concern that their technology has been rendered obsolete.
So either two things have happened here. Either their claims about their products are false or the thieves have found a way to completely render their systems useless.

Having been a longstanding customer of…
Having been a longstanding customer of Teletrac Navman on my BMW cars I recently changed my car to a new one which came with a Tracker system fitted. Having renewed my subscription in August 2025 I tried to cancel and was told that the subscription is non refundable as per their 23 page terms and conditions available on their website and which is a click here link on the renewal invite sent in July 2025. As a loyal customer I was not happy with this and asked that they reconsider which they flatly refused. They have now lost me as a customer as I certainly will not use them again if ever I need a tracking system fitting to a future vehicle and I seriously recommend that any new customer considers this first before they buy!
