Way too expensive. You definitely need to check your competitors much more effectively that you are. Much cheaper elsewhere.

Fabulous service from the team at the TradePoint/ Pick Up desk at Stevenston, North Ayrshire.
For a couple of months I’ve been phoning customer services asking for VAT receipts. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful but unable to generate the required VAT receipts. However, I made an “off the cuff” remark to the team at Stevenston when returning an item, and they came up trumps. They took the time to search online when they could have said “Sorry, can’t do”. I am so very grateful for their persistence. Great job!

visited B&Q Merthyr Tydfil today to purchase fence panels ,store didn't have enough in stock but went out of their way to help us get what we needed ,Gareth was very helpful ,polite and nothing was to much trouble for him.Thank you for your help Gareth

I have needed to return over-ordered items such as wallpaper and laminate flooring. B&Q and Tradepoint are possible the least fuss shop for returns so long as the item is in the original condition.

I can confidently buy a little more to allow for breakages, etc.

In contrast, at Wickes you are always asked: "why, whats wrong, do you need anything else today, etc".

Hi was in your port glasgow store and was served with a new lad named ross seemed very happy to help and its good to see manners in this day and age as is with most staff i daily deal with at the store merry xmas all B&Q staff

they took the payment twice failed both times they couldn't complete the order and it takes upto two weeks for a refund so no product and £400 down for 2 weeks very poor service staff are very uninformed and not very helpful at all

I'll never gonna use them again
After a whole day waiting they contact me at the end of the day by email to tell me that my items won't be delivered. I took a day off so i can arrange space for jumbo bags with ballast and plastering sand, I organised plaster for the job and have to cancel the whole project. Really disappointing services, waist my time and lost money of them. Never gonna use them again

Lisa at Salisbury has to be the greatest most knowledgeable member of staff B&Q employs. Her help and information on the Paint counter today was amazing as she is at all times.

Brilliant stuff

For a small trader spending a large amount occasionally Tradepoint is a waste of time. Discounts expire at end of month, poor deal for us small traders.

Ollie in the paint section was amazing he found time to go through my colour scheme and helped me to choose the right colour most helpful and polite. I live in Bournemouth but will certainly be going to use Salisbury from time to time a big thank you to Ollie

I would like to thank tradepoint customer service for a job very well done. Jean with whom I was in contact with was absolutely on the ball she kept me regularly up dated in regards to my order and phoned me when she said she would phone me. All companies should have someone like Jean working for them ,thanks for sorting everything out Jean.

They call themselves "Tradepoint" but are in my experience upto 50% more expensive than local builders merchants, and even on one such case, decking paint was more than 50% more expensive than B&M. They're the same company as Screwfix who offer the same products for sometimes half the price too. Even with their pathetic discount scheme with 10% off is still more expensive. It's beggers belief why anyone uses this place, they're not on the side of the building trades at all, they're simply a joke.

Even to get items or goods price matched now to builders merchants has become a hassle. The staff make you feel as though you're a fraudster.

Tradepoint, Merchant Way Doncaster, I went in Lee served me, it was empty, he was having a personel conversation with another member of staff, I said ive forgotten my glasses, can I have 1 white mastic please, he said, I need a code out of the book, passed a book to me and continued his conversation, after about 5 minutes of searching a catalogue with miniscule writting I managed to find it, he could of found it on his compter screen if he could have been bothered, but because he is a poor member of staff he didnt, Screwfix on the ohter hand are very helpfull, their service is second to none ard any poor members of staff like Lee from Tradepoint are weeded out. I will not be going back to tradepoint as the service has become very poor, I will be using SCREWFIX from now on.

I have ordered a new front door from the tracepoint site. I received a text from DX to say the delivery time would be between 9:49 and 11:49. I waited at the property for 3 hours only to receive a text saying my order was delayed. its now the next day 12;30 and still nothing. No delivery and no contact from anyone. Why would Tradepoint choose to use such an unreliable delivery company like DX?? I have now lost more than six working hours chasing up this order, and still no delivery time slot! I've lost six hours of paid work!

I have been using their Blackburn Branch for years and find the staff here really helpful and accommodating.
Along with their B and Q counterparts they work together to offer a first class service and the price is always right!!
Plus there is never a problem returning faulty or unused items

The prices are ok but the ordering system is next to useless because stock levels are not checked as you shop i.e. you can add items to your basket that are then rejected at checkout! Does the system then list items which are similar? No!! You have to go back shopping, add a replacement item, go through the checkout process again and only then see if the replacement item gets rejected or not!!! Does phoning their helpline help? No! They have to go through the same process i.e. they have no access to stock availability! Can they tell you when stock will be available? No! Can they take the order and fulfill when stock does arrive? No!
Absolutely hopeless process. As a building business I can't operate on a basis when I have no idea when materials will be available.
