Taxi wasn't there to pick up friends from airport. It seems the lady who took the booking didn't forward the pick up information to the driver. Driver did turn up and waited but left because the flight was delayed and he didn't have the information.

We had a pre paid, pre booked taxi. I was phoned 5 minutes after we were due to be picked up by a driver and told my driver would not be coming and no one would be coming to take me for the pre paid price (just under £50). The driver offered to take me for £75 instead, which I refused.

A confirmed wedding booking.
Outbound trip - car arrived 20 minutes late.
Return trip - cancelled the 23:30 return at the pickup time. Conductor delivered the message and immediately hung up.

I do not feel comfortable pre-booking your service for any future event.

Appalling service. We had Pre-Booked a taxi several days in advance for 23:30, received a text at 23:35 to let us know it’s BUSY in our area and the taxi is running a bit behind. Advised they will prioritise our booking and get a car as soon as possible.. At 00:06 we received a text to advise our taxi was cancelled.
We were stranded in a very isolated location after midnight and no chance of getting another taxi. I called the company and they advised they had no drivers. available. No interest in helping to find a solution. I was advised that I should have pre-paid though another friend had pre-paid their taxi and this taxi did not show up until 30 mins. after their pre-booked time.
Luckily we were able to get a friend to collect us otherwise I have no idea how we would have got home.
Do not trust this company. Do not use.

Was quoted £16 and directed to pay by card then said this would be charged at the end of the journey.when I got there the driver said it would be cash and it was£23.40 was in a rush so complained to the driver about the price however paid as didn't have the time to argue. Rang the company afterwards to complain and get the money back for the difference but was told make a formal complaint on their website... so I have although don't have much hope that I'll get the money back... really don't use this company you will be ripped off

Don’t assign you a driver and then don’t call you to say they can’t fulfil your booking. Costs me an extra £100 to drive myself last minute. Useless. Worst taxi company I’ve used (or not used as it turned out).

Pre booked to get to an appointment for dental surgery - pre-payment failed several times but app and automated phone response confirmed booking. When taxi didn't show up and I called again it turned out no taxi had been dispatched.....then a call from someone in Cardiff telling me to pay before they'd dispatch. He was rude and impatient with no interest in customer service despite knowing I was a repeat customer. I will NEVER use V Cars again.

We pre booked and paid for 2 taxis to collect from a wedding. We rang to confirm that morning and was told all was fine. Neither taxi arrived. We rang them and were told they were busy and couldn’t confirm when they could get the taxis to us, then hung up on us even though we were polite and just wanted the taxis we had paid for. We got through again to be told the same thing, couldn’t answer to why when you have already paid for the service the taxi wasn’t there!
They were not helpful at all and 8 of us were left in the middle of no where at midnight for an hour and half. All I can say is thank god for Uber!!!

We have used vcars a lot and have never had a problem till Pre booking & paying. We are very disappointed with this service and will no longer use vcars!

Now we have to try and get our money back!

Only one word to describe this company 'horrendous!' I've missed so many doctor's appointments because of this company. They are just awful.

Unfortunately I cannot award anything lower than 1 out of 5, much as I would like to. Having prebooked and prepayed a 1am booking for 3 households several days in advance we were first lied to before having our taxi cancelled (without being informed). We were then fobbed off and abandoned in the middle of the night in an area where there is limited taxi provision, miles from home. We didn't get home until 3.30 am as a result. Other guests were also let down by V Cars. This company is absolutely unreliable. Will never use again.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if I could help it. Booked for 20 people 3 weeks in advance and they confirmed the booking. They let us down on the day and when I called they told me 30 mins. I waited 30 mins and called back and they told me another 30 mins. They then told me 30 mins more for certain and they still didn’t turn up. Ended up stranded with 20 people waiting to go where we needed to go. Do not use them at all. Terrible service and full of lies.

Booked two weeks in advance for fixed fare return trip to Quantocks and spoke to professional sounding people confirming the booking including on morning of booking. No show for 2pm at 2.45 and being strung along by call centre so cancelled and went for local firm we should have used in the first place. They seduce you with a cheaper fixed fare and then don’t deliver. I’ve learned my lesson and won’t touch them with a bargepole again.

Never even think about using this company. Booked a day ahead, when the car didn't turn up has told they were looking for an available car. Forty minutes later still no car. Had to find another provider. Their word means nothing.

Pre booked a taxi 3 days in advance, taxi didnt arrive, called them and was told between 10+15 delay. Why was the app not updated to show this.

Had to scramble a friend to get us and take us to the train station. Very poor service.

Not the 1st time they have been late but it will be the last time as I won't use them again.

Quite appalling service and will never use again - do they care? I think not. Tried to book an 11pm pick-up, via their app, at 4pm, without any confirmation. This continued right through the evening until 10.30pm when I abandoned the search. Do not deserve to be in business.

I am not very impressed with this company and the service we have been getting , we have been using them for a long time, but the service has gone down hill ,our local V cars is in Bristol, and no one can drive in our house for medical reasons, so my husband had two very important things to go to, and the first booking was last Sunday and the driver was very late, and I he spoke to someone over the phone, and explained to the person over the phone what time that he had to be there and after the discussion a time was booked to give enough time to get there but he did not get to the destination on time, then yesterday I called V cars , and explained what time my husband had to be where he was going a time was discussed and it was booked for 18.45 , but it did not turn up until 19.15 , and my husband is the royal British legion chairman of Stoke Gifford, and he was chairing the meeting which starts at 19.30,and after been let down by your company, we will not be booking your company tomorrow to go to our friends funeral

Their drivers are seriously agressive. First time the driver insisted on cash and got really nasty and abusive when I said I would pay online. Started calling me selfish for not giving cash! Second time tonight I couldn't get airpay to work straight away and driver got aggressive saying he was not prepared to wait but would take me to a cash point. Got it working in the end but really poor attitude and as a woman quite intimidating. Used to get to a business event but will never use vcars again.twice bitten...

Awful customer service - the driver kept complaining that our flight was delayed and he should charge us more - he then stopped the car to answer the phone when we were already running late (no fault of our own). We pay for an airport taxi service so having a moaning driver for doing his job is not exactly welcoming.

Keeping this short but not sweet. We were promised a taxi in 10 minutes for a disabled staff member. Over an hour later, and three more calls still nothing. !!! Won't use again
