Sono passati quasi sei mesi e non siamo riusciti a riavere indietro i 1000€ di franchigia pagati con carta di credito presso il punto di noleggio vicino l’aeroporto di Spalato.
Ci hanno detto che i soldi li avremmo recuperati dopo 30 giorni.
Scandalosi !
State lontani da questa società e da Carjet che si appoggia a loro per la Croazia.

I am utterly disappointed by the lack of action and accountability from Vintax (GreenMotion) regarding my deposit refund. Despite their repeated assurances that my case has been escalated to their financial department, it's been over a month since the promised refund date of October 20, 2023, and I'm yet to see any progress.

This prolonged delay, coupled with false reassurances of escalation, reflects a blatant disregard for customer concerns and a lack of integrity in their commitment to resolving issues. As a customer, I fulfilled my obligations by returning the vehicle as agreed upon, yet Vintax (GreenMotion) has failed to fulfill their end of the agreement.

The complete lack of transparency and failure to provide a clear timeline for the refund is unacceptable. I've patiently waited, but this continued delay and the disregard for resolving this matter are extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I sincerely hope this review sheds light on the poor handling of customer issues and prompts Vintax (GreenMotion) to take immediate and genuine steps to rectify this situation.

To add onto the bad experience, this all started when we were to get our car. After calling 5-6 times and being reassured that someone would come/call us back, they managed to let us wait for 1,5 hours until.

Achtung Betrüger! 800€ Kaution nicht zurückgeben. Erst nach Monaten vom Vermittler das Geld bekommen, vom Vermieter selbst keine Antworten mehr erhalten, selbst nachdem ich die Polizei in Split kontaktiert habe.

Ich habe ein Auto gemietet. Mir wurden 1.000€ von meiner Karte abgebucht und nicht mehr zurück überwiesen. Wenn mit mein Geld nicht im bestimmten Zeitraum zurücküberwiesen wird, werde ich rechtliche Schritte einleiten und an die Presse gehen.

I recently had a challenging experience with Vintax that I feel compelled to share. I booked a rental car through Check24, and unfortunately, encountered significant issues with the deposit refund process.

Despite returning the car in the same condition I received it and adhering to all terms of the agreement, Vintax failed to refund my €800 deposit within the promised 30-day period. Numerous attempts to contact them went unanswered, leaving me frustrated and concerned about the legitimacy of their business practices.

I caution potential users to thoroughly research and consider alternative options before choosing Vintax for their car rental needs. My experience suggests a lack of transparency and responsiveness, which could potentially lead to complications for other users.

Comme tous les autres avis, nous avons loué une voiture à l'aéroport de Dubrovnik après un contrat signé avec VIPCars qui indiquait que nous devions récupérer la voiture auprès de Abbycar. Au final, la voiture a été louée auprès de Vintax, qui a prélevé un dépôt de garantie de 1 000€. Nous avons restitué la voiture le 29 août, sans dommages et en temps et en heure, nous somme le 20 novembre et nous n'avons toujours pas été remboursés malgré un envoi de mail casi quotidien auprès de abbycar et vipcars. Le numéro de Vintax ne marche pas, personne ne répond aux e-mails et impossible de trouver l'adresse de leur siège social. Nous avons missionné un avocat, nous n'abandonnerons clairement pas le sujet.

I'm yet another customer that wasn't refunded for the deposition payed at Split airport, Croatia.
I had to involve DiscoverCars, whom I made the booking through.
Finally, after three months, I got a refund through them (DiscoverCars).
Sad to see that I'm not the only one being maltreated by these scamers.

Please avoid this company. They advertise themselves on Booking.com as Greenmotion. They are stealing the money from their customers. First of all in the advert they don't mention that they charge deposit. I found it at the time of arrival to Split. I have paid deposit of 1.200,00 EUR that was not returned to me after 30 days as per their contract. Tried to call them but no answer. Emailed them but don't think I will receive any response.

Wie alle anderen auch schreiben ,auch uns wurden auch uns 1000 Euro Kaution abgebucht anders als vereinbart denn die 1000 Euro sollten NUR vorgemerkt werden.
Frechheit ...werde jetzt einen Anwalt einschalten !!!!

VINTAX HAS STOLEN OUR MONEY.
They withdrawed 1.000,00 euro from our card in deposit. We rented in july, and we haven´t got our deposit back yet. We have contacted them severel times, without any solution.
Under no circumstances should you rent a car via Vintax-rent.eu - KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE - rent from another Company.

Ich habe über MietwagenCheck 31.08.-07.09.23 einen Mietwagen in Pula gebucht. Wie bei allen anderen
1000 Euro abgebucht und bis heute nicht zurück! Nächste Woche gehe ich zum Anwalt!
Eine Sammelklage wäre doch sinnvoll!?

O gwiazdek. Firma Vintax/Abbycar nie zwróciła depozytu. Zawiadomiłam stronę „discovercars”, za pośrednictwem której wynajmowaliśmy auto, policę w Pula, a także jesteśmy w kontakcie z naszym bankiem. Nie polecam.

We rented a car for our vacation in Croatia. First of the ca was not ready when arrival, second they offered another car in return, smaller then booked, but for the same price.
They withdrawed 1.000,00 euro from our card in deposit. We rented in july, and we haven´t got our deposit back yet. We have contacted them severel times.
Under no circumstances should you rent a car via Vintax-rent.eu - Its a total scam.

Il mancato rimborso del deposito cauzionale di € 1000 e' capitato anche a me con vintax per un nolleggio di auto il 3 luglio presso l'aereoporto di Pola. Dopo innumerrevoli mail nulla e' successo.Chiedo agli altri che e' successo lo stesso problema se e' possibile instaurare una richiesta collettiva per vie legali.

Terrible experience with Vintax ! Unpleasent vendor, almost forcing to buy additional inssurance. 1000 euro Warranty was withdraw from bank account ! Car rented in may, refund warranty was transfered back in october after contacting Vintax/Abbycar/Discovercars every 2 days ! To avoid at all cost !!!!

You are probably reading this review because like us, you are a victim of the Vintax Car hire scam.

The 1st step you need to take is to immediately submit a chargeback request with your bank as there is a 90 day limit to when your bank can request this money back through Visa.

Then advise your bank to notify their fraud team of this scam so they can commence their investigation.

The bank Vintax use in Croatia is Erste Club. While ERSTE Club advise they can't do anything unless you are also a customer of ERSTE Club, if enough people email/call them to let them know they have also been a victim of this scam then hopefully they will eventually do something.

We have also notified the Banking regulator if this scam.

Our experience:
We rented a car from Vintax via Discover Cars.
When we collected the car instead of processing our deposit as a "pre-authorisation" (like every other car hire company do), Vintax processed our transaction as a "transaction".
When I queried why it had been processed as a transaction & not preauthorisation I was assured our deposit would be returned within 7 days after we returned the car with no damage.

We returned the car with no damage, we REQUESTED a copy of the form to show that we returned the car with no damage. They don't automatically give this form (like every other hire car company do). We were again advised our deposit would be returned within 7 days.

After 7 days no deposit was returned & so I called Vintax who referred me to terms I had signed - saying deposit would be returned after 30 days.

On day 31, I followed up with Vintax by phone & email & Valentina the Vintax representative advised they were having problems with their bank.

I continued to contact & this delay tactic dragged on.

Eventually Valentina advised to get our deposit back we would need to provide our IBAN.

I contacted ERSTE Club who is the bank Vintax use & they advised under NO circumstances should we give Vintax our IBAN & the deposit must be refunded to the original source the deposit was made (visa card).

I also contacted my bank who advised under no circumstances to give our IBAN & they initiated a charge back as the 90 day time limit was fast approaching.

I hope the class action & police investigation other victims have launched is successful.

If you are a victim, I hope you are reading this before 90 days to be able to initiate a charge back.

If you have not yet picked up a car with Vintax I hope the experience of 600+ people who have taken the time to leave reviews across multiple review sites encourage you not to get sucked into this scam.

Réservation internet par VIPCARS (site trouvé sur internet depuis le site volotea).
Réservation chez ABBYCAR puis arrivés à Split en Croatie le loueur est en fait VINTAX RENT qui serait l'agent de ABBYCAR.
Comme je n'ai pas de carte de crédit mais de débit, le choix est clair, soit je laisse 1000€ de caution débités sur mon compte, soit je prends l'assurance plein pot qui me revient à 270€ la semaine en plus des 100€ de location.
Malgré cela ils me demandent un dépôt de garantie de 400 € qu'ils justifient par le risque de recevoir après mon retour de location une amende due à un des nombreux radars automatiques présents dans la région.
400€ débités immédiatement que je récupérerai dans le mois suivant mon retour.
La location se passe bien véhicule neuf retour nickel tout va bien.
Au mois d'août pas de nouvelles de mes 400€.
J'appelle vintax et on me demande mes coordonnées bancaires.
Et là, plus de son plus d'image !
Je lance une requête sur le site VIPCARS qui après tout, est mon interlocuteur d'origine.
Ouverture de ticket, échanges de mails, réponses à côté de la plaque, menaces de les mettre en justice...
Au final : démerdez vous avec ABBYCAR !
Prise de contact avec ABBYCAR et là en 15 jours réponse cohérente prise en main du dossier et hier je viens d'être remboursé .
Apparemment Vintax qui est leur prestataire en Croatie est en défaut de paiement et c'est donc ABBYCAR qui s'est substitué à vintax pour régler ses impayés.

Il faut leur préciser votre numéro de réservation et vos coordonnées bancaires, le tout en anglais de préférence.
J'espère que cet avis sera utile !

Et biensur je ne recommande pas VIPCARS qui ne font que prendre 7 Euros pour la réservation et qui après ne servent à rien cas de soucis.
Je ne parle même pas de VINTAX RENT en Croatie qu'il faut absolument éviter.
Seul ABBYCAR semble sérieux
