My experience with WAU bike was poor as i waited 40 days for the bike to arrive and received it in damaged form.
The screen was badly broken, there were scratches all over the bike.
Upon telling WAU staff regarding these damages they told to return us back and we can't provide the replacements and can't provide you the perfect bike.
I found their attitude rude and unapologetic.
Returning the bike was even more painful process.
I would suggest going for big companies like Volt, NCM bikes, Zoomo, that got better customer service.

So after 35 emails back and forth finally got my wau bike the process is quite difficult if you are using cyclesceme but i understand they are a new company. Be prepared to pay for delivery when using government schemes as apparently they have less profit and they have to charge. Will update in a couple months of usage

I have had my wau bike for 2 months now and think I have experienced enough to leave a review. Let me begin to say it is a beautifully designed electric bike, it is fast and it draws a lot of eye balls especially during the night. It is definitely a confident boost for me.

The ride itself it super fast, fast enough that my fellow riders can't keep up. So effortless and such a pleasure to ride. Knowing that I will not run out of battery during my rides, I usually use the maximum level of assistant which gets me to my destination fast.

I personally have not had any issues with the bike. It arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected, assembly was straight forward with the help of my partner, and in less than half an hour, I was whizzing around the neighbourhood with my new ride.

Customer service has been great. They are always really helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Phenomenal before and after care from WAU Bike. I couldn't be happier.

The bike is great but there is no immobilising ignition key, the password does not stop the electrics from working.
These in mind it doesn't stop the inappropate people from messing with it. I'm sure this will be rectified in the near future and as an add on as well for people who already own a WAU bike..

What an amazing bike!

Had my WAU for a period of time now that I feel I can review it. I have to say, this is one of the easiest and most fun bikes I have ever ridden. It is marketed and sold as a commuter bike, which I have and will use it for, but I have also taken this along Canal routes, up gradients and put it through its paces. It is amazing at everything you throw at it! Crystal and the team are there to help with any issues that may arrise and its been a pleasure.

The shipping process was quick and straight forward, and the final bits of assembly were simple. A little adjustment was needed on the brakes and guards, but thats to be expected and was really simple. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a bike that is perfect for commuting but can also tackle little obstacles you throw at it!

Just to set the record straight i did not mention that i did purchase the colour display . And you did promis me a brand new colour display , which wasn't even boxed and missing parts from it . Certainly not the brand new colour display you promised .

I take it that you intentionally , left out about all the scratches on the so called Brand new bike i purchased . And also a replacement you sent that you said you inspected yourself before it was sent , and yet the brake cable had a severe kink in it which could have been VERY DANGEROUS indeed . All bikes you sent me had a few scratches on them too . NOT the sign of a brand new bike but the sign of an ex display or a bike used for demonstration purposes .
I am very sorry to have to write this review but i fail to see a good customer service with this company .

Excellent service from the test ride to the order, home delivery and 1+ year ownership. They have looked after me throughout the ownership and the electric bike itself has been one of the best I have honestly ever had - An inspiring team indeed!

Both the bike and customer service are on an ongoing basis top notch. From the first time ordering and receiving the new bike delivery, I felt quality.
In all honesty in such a hot industry wau will thrive.

I have been thinking of buying an electric bike for a few months now. A lot of research, had many test rides and finally made a decision on wau. The main reason for my decision is because customer service is very good and it looks bloody amazing.

I have a Nissan leaf, and always have range anxiety when doing a long trip so I was looking for an electric bike with long range. Instead of looking at estimated range that an electric bike company claims, I look at the actual battery capacity. Some company's are bonkers with their range estimation. For example, Raleigh Motus Tour with 400wh claims to do 108 miles, Specialized Vado 4.9 Step through with 500wh claims to do 80 miles. My wau bike have close to 900wh, claims to do 100 miles, and in real life I can do 85 - 90 miles in real life. More than enough for my journeys and I only charge it every other day.

I am very happy with my purchase, and will recommend the bike and wau team's customer service department. Thank you guys.

At first, I was really impressed with WAU, the bike arrived earlier than expected. However, I encountered a problem during the assembly, they sent incorrectly two right-sided peddles. The peddles themselves don't have clear markings so whilst the first peddle installed correctly, on the other side I didn't realize at first it was the incorrect peddle and attempted to turn clockwise as it was the only way it would secure, I admit this was something I shouldn't have done due to my ignorance but was eager to get the bike going. This resulted in the threads being worn on the crank and the peddle eventually falling off. So now I was left with the wrong peddle and a totally worn crank. I sent an email and at first, they responded with hope but after a few email transactions it ended up they didn't have the crank part available and they wouldn't foresee offering any solution to my problem.

I had to push repeatedly just to get the specs of the crank, which I can't find anywhere online based on the example they sent. It's incredibly frustrating that they can't follow up with rapid solutions and I am having to fight to solve a problem that began with them sending incorrect items.

An amazing electric bike.

Where to start? The design is beautiful, sturdy and really stands out. The lights on the back are needed on all bikes and WAU have designed and built them beautifully, the indicators are a brilliant feature they make me feel really safe.

I've had a few problems, but nothing WAU weren't able to respond to and fix. I had back wheel problem which they booked in an appointment at handlebars, and fixed free of charge.

I damaged the cables and they helped me get them replaced with ease.

Overall a fantastic service they provided, emails are usually responded very quickly, some exceptions. They will answer every question or problem.

The battery is good. As stated on the website it depends on how you use it, I got the 100 mile, I don't belive it does 100 miles but it is definitely one of the best batteries you can get on the market.
I got a week out the battery without charging, just wanted to see how long it would last. Without throlle use as that eats a lot of battery. I always charge my battery after every use as the quick charger does it it less then 2 hours.

The seat is a bit uncomfortable but you get used to it or just get a cushion seat. It would be nice if they included a better seat when buying considering the price.

The pedalling is effortless, switches off and starts after a few pedals.

I've had a few issues such as the wheel problem but WAU fixed it.

The chain has fallen off a few times and that seems to be an occurrence on a few reviews, thats something they might have to look into. It can be a bugger to get back on as I have to take the chain off as it gets stuck behind the box.

Break pads do wear out quickly that's not the bikes fault just the nature of riding an ebike.

Overall great quality bike, if there is an issue then WUA are happy to help. Smooth ride reliable, I feel safe riding it. Outstanding bike 100% recommended

I ride a bike and have been in love with two wheels since I was 7 years old. I never thought that one day I would buy an electric bicycle, I always thought that a bicycle is for cycling, exercising and I did not think that I would really appreciate having an e-bike. I researched a lot and WAU was my choice, a great choice by the way. With GPS, alarm and a satisfactory range and many great reviews in relation to this super bike! It's heavy, but with the engine running it flies! The WAU team is super attentive and Crystal was amazing with me. Highly recommend!

My experience with WAU has been very good indeed. Although I have only had my WAU Bike for a few days I can state that it is a beautifully made item with quality components and some very very nice design details. It rides very smoothly and the power delivery is excellent.... it's a pleasure to ride and I look forward to enjoying many many miles out on it.
The purchasing of my WAU Bike was also a great experience, with very professional and informative communications from the company throughout the delivery lead time. I'd like to say a special thank you to Crystal who was always ready to answer any questions and provide details whenever I asked. Fast efficient customer service for fixing a problem with the console only showing one bar when fully charged. Even sent a replacement charger as we thought that was the problem. Battery range, security and back lights are the best thing about this cool bike which is a good runner without the electric assist too. Will be getting my local service guys to service and learn about it. Console instructions and gps system should be clearer

I work as a delivery, what can I say Wau bikes has made made my work so much easier, its fast and very fun to ride, make my job feels like its not a job. Customer service is is fast and what ever problem I had was fixed very quick.As a bonus the the guy that is responsible to fix you bicycle in London, Paul will answer every question and you will learn a lot about your bicycle, I went once and I left with the bike better than when I first took it out of the box.

My husband adored his WAU bike! It fulfilled his need for speed, exercise and had nerdy engineering features he could chat about. Great to support an exciting new business with so much potential.
