They are conning people. They trap you in a plan. Care team keeps prolonging your care. When you go to cancel your membership, because no service was provided ,They slap you with contract terms.
No customer service, no care. No service from care team but pay membership cost every month.

I pressed the cancel subscription button they took the payment anyway and then when I raised it with PayPal it went in their favour anyway I am £18.95 down will NEVER use Weight Watchers again. Please think twice before you sign up I did my 30 day free trial and cancelled at about day 22!!! scammers.

Signed up for WW menopause programme yesterday but changed my mind within a couple of hours so cancelled my membership and deleted my account and stopped any further pre-approved PayPal payments. However still waiting for a refund for payment made yesterday. 😡

I really like the app. I want to rejoin with the workshops included. When I put in my card details it shows a message with a list of things that may have gone wrong. My card is working fine everywhere else. My mum tried to join too, exact same thing happened to her. She called in, the staff were really nice, she provided all of the information they asked for and tried to sign up over the phone. Their system wouldn't process her card. They said they couldn't help her. What kind of a business plan is this? We can't set up a direct payment from our accounts. Literally won't take our money...

I just got off the phone to complain that even after I canceled my “subscription “ to WW I have “signed up” for ONE YEAR and will need to pay up until January 2026!! This is a terrible way to run a business! I am 77 years old and since I was in my 30’s I have gone on the program with success. I cannot believe that I was fooled into signing up for a year. I honestly WAS NOT told about this clause when I spoke to a representative last January.
The man that I was trying to talk to kept laughing at me which made me so upset. He got what he was looking for…I hung up!

The WW program is NOT what it used to be! AVOID signing up! It is no surprise that they are in financial trouble!!

They are a scumming and greedy company. I canclled my subscrition over the phone, had it confirmed with them but they continued to change me. The payment didn't come up as a DD or SO and didn't show under my subscriptions despite being one. They are refusing to give me a refund because they only confirmed cancellation over the phone and i made the mistake of taking them at their word. Looking at other reviews it looks like it just isn't me either.

Update - if you cancel your membership, they give you an email address.
The app is malfunctioning and no-one has fixed it. I cannot get through to customer services, they give you a premium number to call, and they refuse to call you. There is no email or online form to make a complaint and if you cancel before your contract is up, they take money out of your bank account, even if you cancel your Direct Debit. Total scam. No wonder they went bankrupt. Interesting that they haven't responded to any of their negative reviews here

I wrote a review of WW on 23/7/2025. It was not positive and in fact showed how there was a lack of transparency re pricing. Being tied into a contract without my knowledge. It has mysteriously disappeared from Trustpilot. Have they done that????
On first attempt to cancel they refused saying I had to pay the next 6 months. However when I emailed my disgust and said they’re taking advantage of vulnerable people and tying people in without giving them any transparency about the plan they are on they then offered to cancel my membership and stop payments from August 2025.
I shall see whether that materialises and payments stop. Why however was my review taken down? Do they have the power to do that??? It doesn’t say much for trustpilot if a company is allowed to delete customer reviews.

In February 2025, Weight Watchers offered a program with weight loss shots such as ozempic, if you qualified. I was connected with the clinic and interviewed for evaluation with the understanding I would pay $99 per month for the program. I was declined due to my insurance. I was not aware I had been enrolled in the clinic and would be charged $99 per month regardless of acceptance or not. Well, after being billed on my credit car for $594 for the 6 months, I reached out to Weight Watchers regarding the charges since I was declined for the program. They told me it was up to the clinic and the funds were not refundable. I NEVER had any contact with the clinic following my decline in February 2025 until I reached out to stop the automatic withdrawal from my account and they flat refused to refund any part of my money. It is my opinion they are theives! For 6 months, the clinic never called, texted or emailed me, but billed me $99 per month or $594.00 for doing a flat NOTHING. Since this was directly associated with Weight Watchers, I think Weight Watchers owes me a refund of $594 or are they theives too?

‼️Warning when you cheaper agreement comes to an end it doesn’t warn you unless you know to turn it on!

A monthly tariff of £12 went to £24.95 when I phoned to cancel the lady was rude and said I must go to Trust Pilot and voice my concerns! So here you go!

Be careful because they will just say the money came out 6 days ago and only noticed now 🙄 how rude.

Stay away. There are better services. I didn't have a problem with the app, but the company themselves are thieves. Their "friendly coaches" will lie to you. I have told them twice to downgrade my membership but because they're having financial issues, they keep charging me the full amount. I told the "friendly coaches" what this system stated that they were not going to charge me the lower price until January 2026 but she is shorting me that my next payment would be the lower price of course it wasn't. This happened twice. Do not do business with them, they lie.

Terrible experience. The monthly DD I pay suddenly more than doubled with absolutely no warning. I use the online app which has really gone downhill, but it was the suddenly hike in costs that was the final straw. It took me ages ( damed AI) to finally get through to a human being. I told her I wanted to cancel my subscription and she offered a plan which was “only” 60% higher than my normal monthly payment. I kept telling her I just wanted to cancel, and was met with lots of sighs. Not great customer service. I’m switching to Slimming World. No wonder these guys are in financial trouble.

It's all on a app that barely works,it kept malfunctioning and then logged me out and claimed I didn't have an account even though I could still log into website. Website is no help, just tells you to uninstall and reinstall app, as if I hadn't done that twice already. Cancelled my membership but pretty sure they will still charge me for another couple of months. Don't bother with this weight loss program, it completely hinges on an unreliable app and refuse to help when and if that fails.

Calked to ask them why are they still taking money from my account when I've cancelled and paid 10£ for it to be cancelled and they told me its a 10 month subscription which I never saw.

They are charging me a monthly fee for service I never received. They continue to state it was in a “disclosure” but I am certain it was hidden. They refuse to rectify. This is how they make money. Terrible

I called to cancel membership. The guy/girl kept offering me a more expensive membership or a month free.
I kept asking when I was eligible to cancel. He wouldn't tell me. Finally, when I got him to admit that I am able to cancel after my next bill, he offered me both choices again.
When he offered me one more month of my "core membership" for free just complimentary, I said thank you that was very nice.
And he tacked on an additional month of billing at the same rate I've been paying.
I said, hold on, that's not free! Just cancel. Don't add that month. lol!
He said, sorry too late. Your core membership costs that amount. I asked how is that free or complimentary?
He said sorry for the confusion but it's too late now to go back.
We went back and forth and he refused to give me his name. Just said to call a coach, but oops, it's after hours.
If I asked for his name, he just sent the same message over and over again.
I'm so mad right now. And not even over a ton of money, just over the dishonesty from what I thought was a reputable company!! I'm going to share this anywhere I can!
Disallusioned with WW!! ☹️

I am extremely upset with WW as I had hoped it would help. When I made little progress I cancelled my subscription - only to find them still billing me each month!
Apparently I was signed up to a 12 month commitment - so I can't even stop them from taking my payments for something I'm not even able to use.
What a disgusting way to trap people!

Been a Gold member since the 1990's never ever did I think that a WW class leader would remove both my daughter and I from her FB group?? We live quite a distance from the group in BOLTON where we live and considering that our original class was closed in ASTLEY BRIDGE and this particular WW leader did a class at this group just before it closed and invited us to join her group. She always thanked us for making it to class especially in winter and there was always gaps in our attendance but WE WAS STILL PAYING OUR DIRECT DEBIT???????
Early February my Brother passed away and my daughter texted the WW leader and explained, obviously you would think there would be some COMPASSION? 3 weeks later she removes us from her FB group?? Obviously we can't go back there to her class, after I've put a formal complaint to them at WW and nobody cares ? I've been chasing them as to why the area manager was supposed to phone me and hadn't? When I phoned them 4 times regarding this the area manager phoned me " she was more bothered about her upcoming holiday to Malta tomorrow??? And she laughed regarding my complaint?? The phone call wasn't recorded as she phone from her mobile?? Honestly you wouldn't believe what happened next " she was emptying her bin ( kitchen bin probably) as I could hear tins dropping on the floor, obviously I was taking up her precious time as she was away on holiday tomorrow. Nobody is taking my FORMAL COMPLAINT seriously? I'm left with a Direct Debit that customer service in the US ??? Won't cancel. The FB group has been cancelled for this class as WW classes are not supposed to have any FB groups set up by the WW leader, for the very reason of how we have been treated by the leader you would think my membership would be allowed to be cancelled as it runs until October my daughter's Membership runs out next month and they have allowed her cancellation with no ongoing payments??
The lady who founded Weight Watchers Jean Nidetch would be ashamed of how her company has ended up all these years later. I will be sending this review to WW on Watts App and I will update on here how they respond. WW customer service if you ask what is there Complaints procedure ( they say they don't know?????) I also asked for the address of HEAD OFFICE and her reply was " I don't know " HEAD office is in the UK yet customer service is in US ??? Odd ? Think it's just a stalling tactic. My next step is to get legal advice, Ombudsman, Trading Standards " Surely WW can see what this WW did made it impossible for us to return to her class. I would like to point out that SLIMMING WORLD don't remove group members from their FB group even when you don't attend anymore which absolutely sums up WW and SLIMMING WORLD also allow you to pay weekly NO CONTRACT looks like I made a huge mistake coming back to WW ? You are only as good as your reviews and trying to find a good one on here is almost impossible

The plan is boring and useless and the CS is abysmal
Bankruptcy is no surprise.
Cancelled my plan yet they still grab the money.
I’ve now got an email as evidence of cancellation and stopped my PayPal being used.
Sneaky dishonest and a rotten product
