I came into whistles Reigate with a few items on my mind checked in store to see if available before l went in staff very friendly and helpful without being pushy let me make up my mind and gently pushed me in the right direction instead of a grey coat l came out with a navy coat beautiful on and the lovely grey jumper with lace extremely happy and l was given a scratch card and this never happens to me but l won a jumper l chose the one the girls gave me to try on with my coat as l only had a summer dress on l would not have chosen it but it was perfect to go with the petite check skirt l had ordered a few days before a great kick off for my autumn/winter wardrobe have ordered the check burgundy dress l had a lovely time just wish l had brought my friend with me as the clothes this season are very wearable my check skirt is a beautiful quality a great weight hangs perfectly l think most of my wardrobe is going to be whistles again this season love the designs the lovely staff made it a special time great customer service in Reigate whistles.

A dress in the window caught my eye so popped in for a cheeky browse. Ended up coming out with the dress, as well as a belt to go with the dress, jeans, cashmere jumper and beautifully soft long-sleeved vest top. So the window display drew me in, then the lovely assistant Denise engaged and supported me to make choices. Joyful experience
I went to the London Bridge shop to check the quality and size of a winter coat I saw online. It was one of two I was considering, so the lovely sales associate offered to hold it while I went to the other store across town. There was no comparison- the Whistles coat was by far the winner in terms of design, fit, weight and durability. When I returned to Whistles, the sales associate gave me a huge smile and wrapped up the coat, remembering to knock off 20% in the sale. No fuss, no upselling, and genuinely cheerful - a joyful experience.

After numerous emails (I EVEN WROTE TO CHIEF EXECUTIVE J.S WHO NEVER BOTHERED TO RESPOND!)and phone calls and reassurance they are returning my money “right away” I have been waiting for nothing and eventually had to report them to the police as well as trading standards. And then finally I got my money back! I have never encountered anything like this before and would urge other shoppers that “all that glitters is not gold”. Whistles is just a posh name - that’s all.

Appalling policy and customer service.
I have never purchased anything from Whistles online only in store, but today I did, what appalling customer service they have, I used chat for support because I ordered the Rowena waistcoat order number 19522309 and also paid nominated day delivery for this forthcoming Saturday 29th September, literally 5 mins later I saw the exact same item on Next uk half price at £75 instead of £109 which also was more at full price £165 but they’d advertised 30% off so £109 plus delivery fee, so I went on chat with Nazarene who said I had to wait 24 hours for the details to reflect on their system, couldn’t cancel the order which sounds absolutely ridiculous and appears I will have to wait for the item to be delivered and I have to send it back. How can this system be ok? Now after reading other customers problems with returning items I’m very frustrated. Anyway the outcome had already made me feel that I will never use Whistles Uk again.
Having received a private email following this review again they quote policy, and legally binding, they understand the frustration blah blah blah, plenty of other retailers have policies but are more helpful and willing to maybe offer a better solution, so basically they can’t do anything so I have to go thru the whole charade to send it back to them and pay 2 lots of postage for the pleasure! Will definitely never use whistles again, I wish I had seen many of the reviews before placing my order as it seems bad customer service is an ongoing issue.
