This is better than my old Karcher
This is better than my old Karcher. Hose reel and flex storage is good. Adapters so all my old attachments work with the new pressure washer. The lance extension is very good when cleaning the patio with or without the patio cleaner attachment.

Bei mir ist der Verbindungsschlauch vom Gerät zur Kabeltrommel gerissen, weswegen ich den Support kontaktiert hatte. Mir wurde dann ein Link zum Ersatzteil geschickt, damit ich es mir bestellen kann.
Das Gerät wird ein bis zweimal pro Jahr verwendet und steht über den Sommer Witterungsgeschützt in einem Gartenhäuschen. Über den Winter wird es in den Keller gebracht, um das Gerät vor Frost zu schützen. Bei einem Preis von 370 € hab ich schon die Erwartungshaltung, dass ich von einer längeren Lebensdauer ausgehen kann als drei Jahre und falls es doch mal ein Produktfehler geben sollte mir über die Garantieabdeckung geholfen wird.
Mir wurden darauf hin 10% discount angeboten und krampfhaft versucht, die Ursache auf mich zu schieben. Ich werde daraufhin keine Geräte mehr von AVA kaufen, geschweige denn empfehlen.
Update auf die Antwort von AVA vom 6. Oktober 2026:
Wenn sich die Ursache meines Schadens auf umfangreiche Tests stützt, frage ich mich, wie es sein kann, dass die erste Analyse war , Frostschaden und nach meiner Erläuterung wurde der Schlauch angeblich eingequetscht. Klingt für mich schon, als würde man den Schaden dem Kunden in die Schuhe schieben wollen. In beiden Fällen kann ich versichern, dass das Gerät freistehend mit genügend Platz in beiden Räumen gelagert wird.
Ich möchte klarstellen, dass es hier mir nicht um die zwölf Euro für den Schlauch geht, sondern um die Art und Weise wie kommuniziert wird. Aus meiner Sicht habe ich meine Situation umfangreich geschildert, um ein Verschulden meinerseits ausschließen zu können.

wir möchten klarstellen, dass keineswegs versucht wurde, die Ursache des Schadens Ihnen zuzuschieben. Aufgrund umfangreicher Tests und unserer Erfahrungswerte dazu, wie Witterung und äußere Einflüsse das Material beeinflussen können, können wir mit hoher Sicherheit sagen, dass der Schaden in diesem Fall nicht auf einen Produktfehler zurückzuführen ist. Unabhängig davon haben wir Ihnen aus Kulanz bereits einen neuen Schlauch kostenfrei zugesendet, da uns wichtig ist, dass Sie Ihr Gerät wieder problemlos nutzen können.
Leider werden solche Schäden nicht von der Garantie abgedeckt.

Had a question regarding the mystery gift. Rachel replied within hours with a very detailed reply. Excellent service with a follow up email to check that everything was fine. I’m very pleased with this service now that everything we do is online and AVA has sufficient support staff to respond quickly.

Bought an AVA pressure washer
Bought an AVA pressure washer, but unfortunately experienced frost damage over the winter. When contacting support, I was met with pure corporate dodging. They explicitly admitted in their email that if I hadn't been honest about the frost damage, they would have had to service it—basically punishing honesty.
To top it all off, they refused any help or shipping under the excuse that they "don't officially support xy country," completely ignoring the realities of the EU single market. Their famous extended warranties and modular repair philosophies turn out to be mere marketing fluff when you actually need support. Avoid if you live outside their hand-picked regions.

In your case, the cause of the damage would have been identified during inspection and, as this type of damage is not covered by the warranty, repair and transport costs could then have applied — being open about the cause from the start therefore helped avoid unnecessary additional costs rather than affecting your entitlement to support.
We also understand your frustration regarding coverage in Slovenia. Our extended warranty and service network currently apply only in the countries listed in our warranty terms, and Slovenia is not among them; this is also why our machines are not officially sold there, while your unit was purchased privately from Germany. We appreciate your feedback.
Our customer support team has already offered an alternative way to help get your machine up and running again. Please reply to our email so we can assist you further, even though we are unfortunately unable to provide warranty coverage in your country.
