Better than local hardware store
They have such a great range of furniture that is of high quality and value for money. Easy to navigate website in terms of choosing and ordering and check out. Delivery is the fastest I’ve seen in terms of online furniture. Products are exactly as described and easy to assemble. I’ll be buying from them than going to the local hardware store from now on.

Dont waste your time - long delays, poor prodcuts and zero support
I ordered four bar stools from the Bar Stool Centre, and while the website was easy to navigate and payment was taken immediately, the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. Unacceptable Delays & Poor Communication After placing my order, I received an email stating that due to peak season, shipping might take longer than usual—something that wasn’t mentioned before checkout. It was frustrating to only learn about delays after my payment was processed.
After two weeks with no updates, I had to email them to ask why my order hadn’t shipped. Three days later, the stools finally left their warehouse, only to sit at a freight company’s warehouse for another seven days. The worst part? There’s no way to contact the freight company directly—just a tracking number that showed no movement for 8 days.
Since I travel for work, I needed to know when to expect delivery, but of course, the stools arrived on the day I was away, forcing me to arrange for friends to store them.
Poor Quality & Assembly Issues Once they arrived, I started assembling the first two stools, which took over 70 minutes—not an easy process. Then, I opened the second box only to find that the screws were scattered all over the bottom, as the plastic case holding them had split. After another 60 minutes of struggling, I discovered that two of the foot poles had damaged threads, making it impossible to tighten the screws properly. This meant I was left with only two functional stools out of four—completely unacceptable.
Non-Existent Customer Support I searched all over their website for a contact number—there isn’t one. I had no choice but to waste more time emailing for support, but no one responded. When I finally got a reply, it was from what felt like a faceless robot, saying, "I feel your frustration and will get this investigated straight away." I don’t want an investigation—I just want my problem fixed. But after repeated follow-ups with no real help, I’ve given up.
Final Verdict: Avoid This Company at All Costs I’ll be heading to Harvey Norman this week to buy four working stools—at least they have real customer service where you can call or visit a store for support. This whole experience has been terrible. The furniture is cheap and poorly made, and if you have an issue, good luck trying to get any help—you’ll just be out of pocket with no recourse.
I won’t let this slide—I plan to visit their head office on Collins street to speak directly with the MD/Owner I’m not one to get taken for a ride!
If you’re reading this, save yourself the frustration. Don't waste your time or money.

As discussed, a brand new set of bar stools is already on the way, and I’ve personally raised an investigation with the courier company to get to the bottom of that unacceptable 7-day delay where your order sat idle in the depot. You’re absolutely right — that should never have happened, and I’m very sorry for the inconvenience and stress it caused you, especially with your work travel schedule.
I also want to apologise for the issues with assembly and the condition of the screws in the packaging. It’s not the experience we want for anyone. The replacement set we’ve sent has been double-checked by the warehouse team to ensure no parts are missing.
To clarify for anyone else reading — we don’t operate a phone line because:
We can’t accept payments by phone due to security protocols.
All warranty and support requests require photos or videos, which can’t be submitted via phone.
We also need a record of all support communications for accountability and consistency.
That said, our live chat is always the fastest way to reach us during business hours, and we’re also available via email, Facebook, and Instagram messaging and soon to add Whats App functionality. We’ve helped thousands of customers across Australia using this system — but clearly, in your case, we missed the mark early on, and I’m truly sorry for that.

Just to give you a little context, during our peak clearance sales, our policy states our free delivery option can take 7-14 business days to dispatch. Great products for the price
I am totally happy with our 4 Barstools and 2 tables. Mel from Customer Support was more than happy to help me out with updates on where everything was as the products were coming from different warehouses. I was concerned that the products were " too good to be true" being a great price. My only concern originally was that they weren't onboard with Paypal.

I’ll be honest about PayPal – we do offer it as a payment option because we know it gives customers peace of mind, even though their fees are high. The tricky part for us is that when we hit a certain amount of orders each month, PayPal holds the sale amount for 90 days, which can be pretty tough on our small business. Because of this, we sometimes need to turn off PayPal once we get close to that limit.
We try to keep it available as much as possible, and it’s on the final checkout screen when it’s active. I really appreciate your understanding and honest feedback – it means a lot to us.
