I'm now left worse off than when I started
I contacted county battery about re-celling a wheelchair battery for me, sent a description of the problem and photographs and agreed that I'd send it, they'd take it apart and see if it could be re-celled, and let me know before starting or not. They said it was doable, we agreed to go ahead, and this went forward.
The original fix didn't work, and when I sent it again they told me that now it should be fully fixed and hold it's full charge, but that the LED display of charge level wasn't correct and didn't fill up all the way but only because of a problem with the display, that it would indeed be fully charged but would just show the incorrect level. But after trying it out, this didn't seem the case, as another LED display on my chair also showed the low level charge and the charge was going down incredibly quickly with a small amount of use, definitely not a full charge. We agreed for me to send it back again, which I did, so they could look further at this issue and see if it was truly fixable, and if not arrange a refund.
I then didn't hear from them for several months, and when I contacted again I received a reply from a different person, saying that the original person working on the battery no longer worked for them. They then got back to me stating that the bms in the battery is what's broken and they can't fix that, so they gave me a refund.
I understand that not everything is fixable so I'm thankfully that I received a refund. However, when I received the battery back, after the refund, I realised that the large button that releases the battery from where it attaches to the chair is missing. The locking mechanism has gone, so it will slip in and out of the chair whereas it's meant to be secure until the button releases it. This is very dangerous and makes this unusable, as the battery could fall out while the chair is in use, leaving me stranded, potentially in a dangerous situation such as while crossing the road.
I have gone from having a usable battery that doesn't charge fully, to having no usable battery at all. I contacted them about this problem in November, and received no answer.
There's nowhere online for me to buy a replacement button/mechanism for the battery, so now the only option is to buy an entire new battery which costs hundreds of pounds.

I needed a new leisure battery for my campervan and managed to find County Battery Services - google search for leisure batteries only puts them on page 2, so search by name!!! Got excellent advice from Richard and the team member that took payment was very friendly and efficient. Battery was delivered early next day - highly efficient delivery. I have now installed the battery (Fuller Power Station 110aH) and am extremely happy with iy.
I can really recommend this company.

I found the company extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. I had a query due to manufacturers discontinuation regarding which was the best replacement type. County Batteries responded to my email within hours and the new alternative arrived ahead of schedule.

Big thankyou to county batteries for there excellent customer care, especially Keiran at the Kirkby branch. I had a leisure battery delivered last Friday, but there was a problem with the battery. I spoke to keiran on Saturday mourning, who was absolutely brilliant. He had to do a bit of phoning around to sort out the issue, but within an hour it was sorted with no fuss and no hassle. Absolutely 1st class service and such a refreshing change compared to some of the awful customer service given by a lot of other companies. Could not recommend them enough.

Just purchased a Leisure Battery for our motorhome this week. County Battery's prices are extremely competitive, and they despatched the battery promptly. Just visited Kirkby in Ashfield branch and was totally impressed wit the service and treatment I received from lucy and jack,they are a credit to your company.After testing my battery it resulted in required replacing and there was no quibble about guarantee they just got stuck in and pleasantly change the battery out.In these uncertain times its great to receive such great customer relations especially from such a lovely young couple.Also could I give Gabriel a shout as well as he came to help out during the battery change after a small hiccup.Once again a big thanks to everyone concerned and would 100% recommend the Kirkby branch

I needed a new battery for my Bosch drill. [My previous ones from Germany were 'lightweight' and had no torque despite rated 1.5 ah in lieu of 1.4ah
OE's weighed 600gms these were 400gms.]

I contacted County Battery and they advised me that the 12v 3ah replacement from them weighs 1kg.
BRILLIANT.
[On another site a 5ah was 850gms.]
When is arrived it weighed only 700gms.
I sent a note [no reply] I sent another note and the reply was offhand almost so what? does it work?
I rang and spoke to someone else. They did not understand my concern and got roughly the same answer.
It is what it is and that's that. They only sell them [from China]
[My concern was I was misled/mis sold.]

Ordering online was a bit of an issue because it wouldn't let me pay with credit card, eventually completed using PayPal.
Order dispatched same day but carrier failed to deliver next day but as it was first day back after new year it's fair to say it wasn't too much of an issue.
In general good service and will probably use this company again if waiting a couple of days for a battery isn't a problem.

Even though I ordered my leisure battery during Christmas/lockdown, it arrived quickly and well packaged. Will be using CBS ltd again

Best place to buy classic style batteries used them three times now splendid service!

I was going to have the battery refurbished for my wife's e bike and sent off the £440 via PayPal. Due to Covid-19 lockdown I found that, at this expensive price, we could not afford to lose that amount of money after having been laid off as the business was closed due to Government restrictions with a total loss of earnings. I have tried to get a refund from them but have never even received an answer to the numerous emails I have sent the company. I am very disheartened to be have basically been scammed in this way and with the lack of communications AFTER THEY RECEIVED my money. I would caution anybody to think really hard before actually deciding to part with your money.
