Don't buy Devola panel heaters!
Attracted by the style, I purchased a panel heater in November 2024 for occasional room heating. It looks nice and worked ok for 11 months when the display/controls failed. The heater was replaced but the replacement has failed in *exactly the same way* after 9 months this time. Clearly there is an inherent fault be that in the design or product build. Although I thought this would be covered by the extended warranty, apparently they have no record of me having applied for this and hence refuse to replace it despite advice that I have a good argument under Consumer Rights Act 2015. Whereas communications with their Customer Support was always prompt and polite, it was always negative. When will companies like this realise that a little bit of good will results in plenty of good publicity from the recipient whereas a 'no' from the outset and lack of any flexibility results in considerable negativity and bad press towards the company?

We’re sorry that you’ve experienced the same issue with your replacement heater and understand why this has been frustrating.
We have fully reviewed your concerns, including the points you raised under the Consumer Rights Act. Unfortunately, we have no record of the extended warranty being registered, and after considering the circumstances of your case, our position remains unchanged.
We do have to apply our warranty terms consistently to ensure all customers are treated fairly. We appreciate this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for and are sorry that we’ve been unable to reach a resolution you’re happy with.

Great little unit that is cheap to run
This is the second dehumidifier I have purchased from Devola. Delivery was very quick. The original unit is used in the bathroom and I intend to use the second unit to dry laundry, as it is cheaper to run than my tumble dryer.

It's an excellent A/C unit
It's an excellent A/C unit, in our current UK heat wave of 32 - 33 C it brings the room temperature down nicely chucking out lots of cold air, it has a functional remote control and can be switched on / off remotely via your Smart Phone App, I use Android Smart Life or it can be set via the App's Timer which means your room is cooler by the time you get home eh ? The exhaust pipe is of good quality and folds back up between use if needed. Five Stars :)

First was the courteous answer to my query; then was the follow up to the product I required; then was the easy ordering and a bonus of free postage.....and finally a very prompt delivery service.
