Adam Corinth stove & Bioethanol Fireplace
Negatives first; the fireplace was poorly packaged, arrived in two separate boxes which the courier kindly placed in my dining room but, because the fire surround boxes weren't sealed or plastic strapped, the contents slid out and I have a photo of the box which the courier placed on my dining room floor. Fortunately, the contents were very well protected. I assembled the surround easily but I found certain areas didn't seal/connect easily and had to ask a neighbour to help by adding weight when screwing the barrel screws. The bioethanol fuel doesn't last long.
Positives; I bought this fire surround and fire package for my new home as new builds don't have fireplaces and the small dining room needed the cosy feel. The surround is a nice quality, looks great especially at night with the lights on. Delivery was good. The fire is a nice looking compact unit and is easy to use and throws out good heat when lit. Overall, a good affordable addition to my home.
