Friendly and helpful staff.
Reasonable choice of goods instore

My son had sent me a detailed link for a Xmas present. Unable to open it on my phone. Danny took the details, checked online and, what's more, it was in stock. Order placed and will be delivered to my home address. He then sorted my WiFi out. Wonderful service. Bravo Danny 👏

The shop manager was very helpful and knowledgeable about a body warmer that I purchased

I was really disappointed in the selection of products for children my son has forest school and I needed to get him him new coat etc and I could only get him the water proof trousers very poor selection I'm shocked the shop is still open to be honest we had to shop elsewhere

Placed a click and collect order to be ready in an hour. Went to the store 24 hours later to be told they couldn’t find the item I had ordered when they tried to pick it. They didn’t think to cancel the order or contact me just waited for me to come into store to tell me

I needed advice on waterproofing products for my walking clothes etc. which the assistant was very helpful with.
Unfortunately one of the products was not available either in the shop or online (which the assistant did check for me).

A young lady was very helpful, she told me it was her first week. She had very good product knowledge and helped me pick out a new coat

Staff knew the products they had in the shop and could advise on the difference in sizing between the brands. Also they offer different suggestions to meet my requirements. There was no pressure to make decisions.

We have given Go Outdoors in Burton upon Trent 5* due to the fact Charlie served us this time. He was friendly, approachable & knew his stock. He turned a refund into an exchange and showed us what we were looking for, demonstrated how to assemble our 'Oex Ultralire chairs', but If we were served by Donna, like previously, we would give Go Outdoors in Burton upon Trent 0* she obviously needs retraining or needs another job! You could tell she didn't want to be there, made no effort to communicate, smile or even help. Just a waste of space, her colleagues are working harder to cover her!!

The staff were helpful and advised on how to get a membership card efficiently . There was plenty in stock to interest me and I will be going back in the future .

I got a pair of walking boots in the sale for a good price, there was plenty of choice and the staff were helpful. The only downside of this chain is the requirement to have a loyalty card to obtain the best price, and there's a huge difference.

Blown away by the excellent service by Charlie. Could not be more helpful with information about a range of footwear, including advantages and disadvantages, for what we were looking for. Did not have all sizes but made every effort to find boots available at short notice at other choice of stores. Would recommend store for every effort made to assist you with your visit.

Excellent in store staff, gave plenty of time to browse before offering assistance. Very patient and helpful when trying on boots. Boots in my size were limited but Charlie took note of styles and colours that I liked and bought me as many options as he could in the style and price range. Signed me up for membership which meant I also got a good deal on the boots I chose. Would definitely use this store again.

Just visited the Burton store to find some hiking boots! Simran was extremely friendly, helpful and patient with us and my plethora of questions. She definitely wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase instead of just making a sale. I felt so comfortable asking questions and asking to try multiple styles on as we weren’t rushed and I didn’t feel any pressure whatsoever.
Charlie was really helpful and knowledgeable too when I had additional questions while I was paying.
Definitely recommend this shop as all of the staff are so kind and helpful! Thank you!
