What ever you do, DO NOT GIVE YOUR CHARITY CLOTHES TO THESE PEOPLE. We left a large box and bags of clothes for them. There were some drinking glasses in the box that should not have been in there. They belonged to my late mother who passed away. I emailed them the very next day explaining what had happened and how the drinking glasses were so precious and were worth a lot of money. I even sent them a picture. They replied back with no empathy or sympathy and said that they couldn’t find them, they weren’t there and they had been sold. I was mortified !! I said how is this possible you only collected them yesterday. My heart was absolutely broken. They are absolute thieves and have no compassion. Please give your old clothes to a more reputable charity who has compassion/ understanding and mostly who are trustworthy!!!

Brilliant service! The driver took 6 bags all by himself and was very polite. It is so easy to book a collection and so quick to donate the clothes. I have used this service a few times now and it is so good.

A few people are saying that they sell the majority of the clothes and only donate a little to charity but it is better than clothes being in a landfill. Also, they are a very professional service, doing this for free so they need to have some sort of income to continue doing this. Charities will not collect clothes so this is the best way to donate to charity, contribute to a good business and do it all for free.

Gave a two hour time slot and collected will use again fast and reliable

I contacted them to come next day to collect 4 bags of clothing. They set a next day collection time but they then changed the date to 4 days later as not available. But that was fine.

Very organised. They emailed me what time they will be there and I left the bags for them to collect outside my house labelled. Very happy with their service. I would use them again. I wish I had known about them earlier.

I’ve seen negative reviews on here saying they sell the clothes and contribute little to charity. BUT any charity I contacted before this refused to come and collect and told me to go and drop off the bags myself! This leads to people just binning their reusable stuff which is not good for the planet. So whether they make money for themselves out of this or not I’m happy that my stuff will get reused and not just add to landfills.

Used them a few days ago to collect 4 bags of old clothes, although they arrived 15 mins after the 1hr time slot that was provided, this wasn’t a problem given that you in advance leave the bags outside of your home for them to get.

Will use them again in the future, saves time and effort. No more having to take clothes down to the local charity shop yourself.

According to their website, they only give £200 to your chosen charity for every tonne of clothes collected! Not very charitable.... :(

They changed my time collection at the last minute and informed me by email only less than an hour before the collection so I missed the collection by 3 minutes.
Called him back directly and the driver did not want to come back after only 3 minutes…
I booked with wecollectwedonate charity instead and they came the next day at 9:00 AM.

Truly excellent from start to finish ..booked a collection time .driver arrived ,took clothing on time ..highly recommended as most that put these bags through door never turn up to collect them ,hence having 3 sack fulls
Great and speedy communication from their office (Jordan )as I was given an alternative day to the one I had chosen which was not a problem

I have just spoken with Ben who was extremely helpful, patient and we did have a giggle.
I tried donating my goods to BHF however they have refused to collect as I have 7-10 bags of goodies. iCollectClothes will take everything, at the same time, on a date / time that suits me.

Not sure of the charity credentials of this service. But in any case although their automatic booking system provided me with a date, this was later withdrawn because they don’t operate in our area. So they have got my name, address and phone number to no purpose. To my mind this is unethical and could easily be avoided by including a postcode check in the booking process.

Brilliant service arrived in the designated time slot , and was taken efficiently. Regularly updated of times through email and always responded to why queries within 24 hours. Will definitely use again thank you

Great service and easy to arrange. Communication was good and was given a collection slot. Driver arrived on time and was lovely and very helpful. Ive seen a few comments about the % they donate to the charities (i cant say ive researched this so cant comment either way).
i fully appreciate this is a concern for many, especially if they are donating to a particular charity, for me i am just happy that my items and clothes will get reused and not go into landfil and if money goes to charities thats even better.

I regret using them as although useful for disposing of unused books and clothes, on closer inspection they are dubious - not a charity, giving to tiny unknown charities of doubtful value. I feel bad for giving my deceased parent's belongings to them. I would go for a real charity were it not for lockdown measures that prevent them from collecting.

This is not a charity, Dont fall for this, they selling everything and only donating small percent to charity. This company is not a registered as charity...

Driver has very pleasant and helpful (took all my 5 bags himself). Also gave me other bag for further collections. Although there was no time frame for collection, they provide me a telephone number to check.
Ease to book and hazardless re-schedule.

Don't use this company for collecting old worn out clothes. They will not collect worn out clothes. Useless.

If I could wear the clothes I would not be throwing them out.
