Only out of box looks and sounds great

bought a magnetic stylus thing (I am old school) for my Ipad Pro, great price and works great, delivered swiftly

Ordered for £110 on 16/03, never received. communication is very poor - no time frame, never get back even to say they are still working on it or something in progress. They write only after I leave a messages on the site. It feels like they don't care, if not worse. Too bad I didn't read the reviews before buying

Cable arrived quickly.
Three layers of plastic packing was unnecessary though.

What a great item.now i can turn on my water pump to extract rainwater from bottom of garden without going outside and getting soaking wet, plus extractor fans in garage to rid of condensation,didn't know these plugs existed wish i had known years ago .highly recommended great company recieved next day perfect..a big THANK YOU MAPLIN.

Update (20/02/24) - I am happy to upgrade the review given the response from James below. James reached out to me on email initially and arranged a return from Yodel, that never showed up. After some confusion, he was able to send a return label so I could post it myself. James also ensured he followed up on the refund and confirmed as soon as it was done. Thankfully, refund was quick after the item was delivered to their warehouse. I hope this helps to put some trust back into their service. The only issue is lack of telephone line and delay in response over emails. Hope they work on this ! Thank you James for keeping up the promise !

MA15318 - Want to return an order, where the incompetent "Yodel" courier did not collect as scheduled. So I have sent numerous emails to Mapling to rearrrange or atleast send me the label and I can go and drop it to the courier shop.

No working phone lines, no live chat. Its next to impossible to find someone respond to you in time. Sporadic email responses over couple of days (once a week or at the most twiice).

Not very customer efficient. Why can't you attach a returns note in the shipment, so its easier to return it????

I knew that what I wanted was available from Maplins, as I have bought one before. The power lead arrived in the post this morning 29/1/24 Highly delighted with the fast despatch and delivery! Thank you!

Shopping at Maplin no issues at all,when product arrived,looked excellent and well packaged.Only issue is with Royal Mail that took a week to get it to me

Claim to offer student discount, once you go through all the trouble of verifying, and then applying the code - they claim it's invalid. Waste of my time and effort.

Great price and quick delivery despite been near Xmas. We have to travel to the shops and we had forgotten batteries, so it was more economical for the postman to deliver them as he passes everyday.

I received my order on time. The inner packaging was damaged, as in the box containing the batteries was damaged and taped up with clear and brown tape. Outer packaging was not damaged. Also, and more importantly most of the batteries were missing! I think I’ve been sent used batteries. Hopefully someone at maplin will sort this out. First time this has happened with a Maplin order.
