Brooke Dene Court, Cleckheaton
I have been looking into setting up a functional fitness activity for homeowners at Brooke Dene Court, Cleckheaton and have had nothing but positivity and support from the Duty Manager, Elaine. She has been professional and approachable throughout the development of the activity; her helpful and organised approach making the process very straightforward. She obviously has an excellent relationship with the homeowners, which has not only been helpful to me, but has contributed to creating a friendly and welcoming environment. I have really appreciated Elaine's support, and look forward to us working together to ensure a great service is provided for homeowners.

Good accommodation but outdoors ecological values compromised.
The flat is pleasant and thoughtfully equipped, there are good communal areas, the manager is helpful and the position is great - set amongst old trees and within walking distance of the River Exe.
BUT the company's obsession with neatness and tidiness distresses me: 1. No washing can be dried in the open air, even on one's patio or balcony; I've dried washing by wind and sun for 60 years, and in view of climate change consider it unethical to use fuel unnecessarily. Then there's severe restriction on growing a little fresh veg or flowers, this being restricted to two modest raised beds for 62 flats! So nothing much for pollinators or chance to garden for wildlife. Indeed the opposite happened when the edges of the grass was treated with toxic weed-killer. But I know from years as a social worker how mental health is enhanced through gardening and closeness to nature.

My mom lives at Alder house Aldridge west mids. A lovely social feeling of community has helped to keep her going the last ten years. Karen the house manager decorates the community lounge in line with each festive season. Halloween currently is stunning.

We moved my 94 year old mother from N…
We moved my 94 year old mother from N Yorkshire to Surrey to enable her to be close to her great grandchildren. Nora @ Weybridge was incredibly helpful to make the move as smooth as possible. Since moving in the staff have all been amazing to help my mother settle in and create her new friends.
Her life is so easy and comfortable also giving us her family confidence that she is being looked after but retains her independence.

I have recently moved into Clemens…
I have recently moved into Clemens Place, Ampthill and have found everybody to be very kind and friendly. Debbie James, the House Manager, has been extremely helpful. She gave me a warm welcome and is always very approachable. I am enjoying my new home and finding my way around the village, there are a good selection of shops. I have also been inspired to go for short walks around the area and to the park, where there is a cafe!

Moving to McCarthy & Stone
We considered moving to McCarthy & Stone so made an appointment to look at one of their apartments. Loz Holden was the sales lady and from our first meeting she was so helpful giving us as much information as possible. Loz never tried to push us into anything and said to take our time as it was a big decision. Having decided we would go ahead Loz guided us right up to moving day. She provided us with an excellent service in a very friendly manner,
On moving day Matt the manager at McCarthy and Stone was very helpful to our removal company showing them the best place to park and which door to use. Since moving in to our apartment we have found Matt and his team are brilliant, friendly and very helpful. We know the right decision was made and are very happy we made the move.

I am very happy in my McCarthy & Stone apartment in Hook. It is close to local amenities and shops. The house manager Phil is excellent. I also want to give a shout out to Nora Henderson the sales consultant who helped me in the final negotiations with McCarthy Stone when the buyer of my old house decided to lower his offer. She helped smooth out the process and achieve a successful outcome.

I moved to Edenbridge Eadhelm Court in…
I moved to Edenbridge Eadhelm Court in May. First person I met was Debs the manager. She made me feel so welcome. She has organised our Monday afternoons games evening and Fridays dvd afternoons. I enjoy both. On Mondays we have started to be more competitive and have good laughs. On Fridays we watch various movies according different choices. So nice to watch movies with company, cry ,laugh or covering our eyes 😅 without Debs we wouldn't have started these

Security, safety and other people in same situation
The security and safety when you are living on your own, knowing there are other people in same situation who you can get together with or not as you want. A good Homes Manager is important who is avavilable and helpful when needed. The apartment is user friendly and comfortable, and the building is near local amenities.

Retirement Living at Jacob Place
My 90-year-old Mother moved into Jacob Place, Saffron Walden earlier this year, downsizing from a four-bedroom detached house, and on the whole the transition has been a very positive one.
A special thank you to Deborah Boorman, Sales Manager, for her help, patience and guidance in helping Mum choosing the right flat for her, and to Alexa Coyle, Estate Manager, and her team, for making Mum feel so welcome from day one.
The residents deserve a special mention too. Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, helping Mum settle into community life and making several new friends.
It is lovely to see Mum settling in and enjoying this new chapter of her life. We are very grateful to everyone at Jacob Place for making her feel so at home. Highly recommended!

Having just moved into Harbourside House,Eastbourne,
we have found all the staff,especially Maria and Sophie in the Sales Office very helpful.Kane,the site manager and all his workforce and Matt,the House Manager will do anything for you.It really is like a 5 Star Hotel here,a fabulous place to live,so near all the amenities.The finish of the Apartments and Communal areas is top rate,even down to the photos in the hallways.

Mallory Court a Place of Joy and Safety
The management is energetically caring for the property and residents. Many activities are available for residents. A clean space throughout and there is a delightfully positive atmosphere. I have two friends in Skipton Mallory Court and I am so happy they are there, safe and cared for at arms length.

Every aspect from the first contact to…
Every aspect from the first contact to the final completion was smooth and with only minor problems due to our lack of knowledge about moving , as it was our first move since we were married.

Enhanced quality of life
We have assisted a cousin who has purchased a two bedroom apartment in The Dairy, Royal Tunbridge Wells and the experience of dealing with the McCarthy & Stone sales team and the staff at The Dairy has been very satisfactory. The Dairy is of high quality and is very well managed by a very professional manager Rona who is both efficient and sympathetic. Settling into a new environment is challenging in the early days and Rona and her whole team have been very supportive.
We very much appreciate the way in which our cousin has been assisted in making this transition and our hope is that the comfort, security and companionship at The Dairy will give our cousin enhanced quality of life.

My flat has become my home
I have now been in my McCarthy Stone flat for two years. I feel at home here and I have made some good friends. Although I do not use the services offered, it is good to know that they are available. I find the staff helpful and the location excellent. I can get to most places easily.
