I recently purchased 2 parrot cages from Parrot Supplies, and I’m happy to say the products are fantastic—exactly as described, high quality, and worth every penny. The supplier was responsive when I reached out, showing a real commitment to customer service.
There was a bit - a lot actually - of confusion with delivery, as the courier left the package with someone else without informing me, which led to unnecessary stress. However, once I got everything sorted, I received the products well wrapped and in perfect condition.
Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and the supplier’s support.

We’ve been regular customers of Parrot Supplies for the past couple of years, consistently ordering food, toys, cages and Java stands for our parrot and spending a significant amount over that time. Sadly, our most recent experience has been extremely disappointing.

Not only were we forced to wait an unreasonably long time for the large order to arrive—thanks to the notoriously unreliable courier the company insists on using—but when the order finally turned up, the parrot food was incorrect and in fact not what we had ordered at all.

Thinking that it was the same product due to the similar packaging, we opened it—only to discover it was something completely different, and our parrot refuses to eat it.

When we contacted Parrot Supplies we expected at least a helpful or understanding response. Instead, we were met with complete dismissal. Despite the mix-up being on their end, they refused to help, facilitate a return, or send the correct item.

We understand that mistakes happen. But the lack of accountability or care—especially after two years of loyal custom—is really disheartening.

We’re posting this to let fellow pet owners know: if something goes wrong, you may find yourself on your own. We genuinely hope Parrot Supplies reflects on how they treat their customers going forward but by looking at some of these reviews, customer care clearly isn’t in their priority.

This company were so helpful, they responded quickly to my questions and supplied the travel cage within a couple of days. Customer service was excellent

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I purchased a cage from these online then I was sent an email saying they had put the costs up and wanted more money. I said no I purchased it at that price from your website. I then got a phone call from the owner who had gave me a lot of abuse over the phone as I asked for my money back. I’ve received a load of text messages harassing me and phoning me.

DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS FROM FROM PARROT WORLD ON EBAY – AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Parrot supplies should stop working with them, they are using your pictures on eBay if your logo and giving you a bad name.

If you’re considering buying from this company, PLEASE take this warning seriously. While some customers receive their items without issues, if anything goes wrong, you will be met with hostility, abuse, and zero accountability from the seller.

I experienced this firsthand. The item I received was covered in red sand, dirt, and had rusty parts—completely unacceptable. When I raised the issue, the seller immediately became aggressive, accused me of being a con artist, and outright refused to take responsibility. I work for a parrot rescue, and I have never once received a cage in this condition. Yet, they insisted this was "normal."

Returning the item was a nightmare. They deliberately made it as difficult as possible, choosing a courier that doesn't offer free collections—despite knowing I physically could not take the item to a post office or fit it in a standard-sized car. I was left with no choice but to hire a van just to return it.

I had to escalate the case to eBay, who agreed the seller was being unreasonable. If I hadn’t done this, I would have had to take legal action via small claims court. Others have returned items without going through eBay and never received their money back.

Check out their negative reviews on eBay and trust pilot and you will see others saying exactly the same thing, some that have gone to court, and all of them with a passive aggressive response back blaming the buyer.

To make matters worse, the seller bombarded me with arrogant messages, boasting that they make £1.5 million a year—as if that somehow justified their appalling behavior. If they’re so successful, why become so aggressive and defensive over a £275 cage? Their attitude screams dishonesty.

If something goes wrong with your order, DO NOT waste time dealing with the seller—go straight to eBay.

This is an awful company run by nasty, manipulative people. Avoid them at all costs.

Very pleased with my single parrot swing feeder stopped my birds throwing their food around. Delivery was good and service excellent, so pleased I ordered a second one.

We planned to visit the shop last Saturday, I have emailed to confirm the opening hours due to this being so close to the christmas/new years eve break. I've had a reply same (even though it was a bank holiday when I've sent the email) We went to visit the warehouse/showroom, as we wanted to see the cages before we chose one to buy. There was a massive variety of cages, toys, treats, perches to chose from, all reasonably priced. We found a lovely cage, also bought few perches and cleaning spray and treats. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even helped to to load the cage to the car. The only reason it is not 5 star was the top perch came with the cage did not fit to the cage, will have to be cut by the hubby, otherwise we are very happy with the purchase.
Edit to the review after reading the reply from parrot supplies. The perch is 4" longer than the widest part of the top door. There's no way of forcing that perch in place, it need to be cut.
I have left a positive feedback and was happy with everything else, never asked for any refund, never said anything negative about parrot supplies at all, other than telling the truth that the perch was unfortunately mis measured by the manufacturer. I've still planned to return for further shopping trips for my parrots as overall I felt I had a good value for money, and good service by the employee at the shop. However, I am disappointed at the company reply to my review saying basically I am wrong, instead of just apologies for a slight mis measurement, and appreciate a positive feedback and a new customer who wanted to purchase from you again.

Firstly I read the comments of reviews below and made my own judgement to order from this company, and I am really glad I did! First time order it was almost £200 I spent on parrot toys, perches & bowls, which might not be a lot to some people but at this time of year it’s a lot to me, I made the order online, I didn’t receive a confirmation email so was a bit worried about it, contacted them by telephone the next day, to which a lovely gentleman didn’t get his name answered politely, I informed him of me placing the order the night before to which I was told that there was an error in sending the emails to customers & told to check my spam folder of which they had sent an email with tracking that morning. Bit of a relief! I then tracked my order and received it promptly within the 2-3 days guidelines by parcelforce, who left the box at my front door not even knowing if anyone was at home, but that’s ok as my house has cctv, Even as it was a busy Christmas period I was grateful! The order came in a nice big box, the perches that needed packaged were wrapped properly & I sat going through all the items ticking them off on the delivery note. I noticed a few items that I had ordered were missing, but they instead replaced it with like for like perches. Same with the food bowls (where meant to be blue but it came as the grey) which to be fair I already ordered some anyway and the colour of the bowl didn’t make a difference as it was getting used the same. The items that were missing were replaced by equal value if not more. Still would have loved the window perch, but that’s ok! So really I cannot fault this company at all! I have an Indian ringneck parrot and he was extremely happy with his new toys/perches and food bowls (which would have cost me double the amount shopping at another well known parrot online store) I cannot thank you enough and I can’t believe I’ve owned a parrot for 8 years and never came across your website before! I also own multiple budgies so will be placing another order for them! I bought from elsewhere before SP NOT HERE! and the dampness smell from the toys as well as rust, was overwhelming I couldn’t give to my parrot, but these toys are of fabulous value! The crock lock bowls are even better! And the perches are also great! Thank you so much from a now loyal customer from now on!

Terrible company with awful communication and misleading delivery timeframes.
I ordered my items with the expectation of 2-3 working days delivery as stated on the website. I didn't even get a confirmation email of my order (I had to chase this). 4 days passed I heard nothing so I contacted them, it took days for a reply. They said they'd look into it but I never heard back. I had to chase again and again over the next 2 weeks before I received a partial order (missing items with a note dated 3 weeks past, to say I'd been refunded)...of course I hadn't! I again had to chase this and got the same unfriendly responses saying it had been (well I think I'd know if it was in my bank!!) took another 3 days to finally get it. No apologies for lateness, inability to keep tabs on their stock, lateness of refund and general manners. Awful company. Never again!

Ordered some food on a seperate occasion and when I opened the bag it was all mouldy. (The bag was sealed and in date). I sent photos of the mouldy pellets to the supplier along with an email. I had a reply back from the company saying that I can't prove to them how I had stored the food therefore, they are not taking accountability for it. (It was stored in a sealed box, under the cage until I was ready to use it. This was also instructed by the manufacturer guidelines.) Luckily this only cost £12 but still, not the point. PLEASE, PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW. PARROT SUPPLIES HAVE REPLIED TO THIS REVIEW WITH A LOAD OF LIES!! Do not listen to the response, it is not true. I have proof of purchase, emails and photographs all containing dates. I'am not banned from any parrot shops online like they accused. In fact, I use Northern Parrots alot and they are a very reliable company. PLEASE, PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS REVIEW.

Cage come 2 days later than expected . Couldn’t assemble the cage due to missing the support holes on the main part of the cage . Then after building the whole thing they emailed me back after 2 days saying I need to pack it back up and send it back ? Useless company . Wish I never used them , total waste of money and time with these idiots , listen to the reviews!!!!!!!

I've bought xl parrot toys for our macaw and cockatoo and there hard chewing I usually buy the deals but cheaper than everywhere else, and I've had no problems with these

Had some terrible experience from a different parrot company, but once you tried the rest you try the best and in Parrot-Supplies I got all that and it ticks all the boxes.

Cage skirt needs putting on but that’s last job for me, then toys and parrot. I think she’s going to be very happy.

Thanks so much, you do get some bad reviews on some companies and can be off-putting but please don’t take the bad reviews against you ordering because honestly I’ve not had any and I am really happy with my purchase.
