Parrot Supplies UK are the worst…
Parrot Supplies UK are the worst company I've had the misfortune to deal with. The staff are bolshy, rude, argumentative, kept referring to their T&Cs and I warned others to stay clear. Contrary to their advert the courier's tracking kept stating "We're expecting it" and eventually I had to cancel and order elsewhere. I had to threaten to get confirmation of the refund which allegedly will take seven days. then received a very abusive phone call from one of their staff, so unprofessional, they don't deserve to stay in business. Update, no refund, so will ask the Bank to recover the £115 via Chargeback. This awful company have replied to my review, and as expected it all fictitious including the dates. I have already received credit from my Bank who is raising a dispute. The Chargeback complaint is genuine, provable and further threats, including court action do not scare me 😂

Before we begin our response to your review just you remember there are always two sides to any story and Mr Woods is hiding the facts.
You first placed a order through our website late afternoon on Friday 26th July then on the Saturday 27th we received a call from Mr Wood asking where his order is we told him you only placed the order less that 24hrs ago and we jokingly said that we wasn’t Amazon,
Later that day we booked in the parcel with the courier and gave Mr wood the tracking information so he could track the progress of his order.
Then on Monday 29th July we received a email from Mr Wood stating that he wasn’t happy with the service that we were providing and that he found the phone conversation that he had with us on the Saturday rude, so on Monday 29th July we decided to call Mr Wood to see what the problem was because he was creating a drama over nothing and wasn’t allowing reasonable time for his order to arrive, during that conversation it became apparent that the only reason why Mr Wood was so impatient is because he had completely run out of the Original Lafeber Nutriberries so his parrot didn’t have any food at all and it was obvious Mr Wood was playing the blame game and blaming others for his lack of bird husbandry.
We ended that conversation after quite a heated debate but we will certainly not be blamed for something that hasn’t even gone wrong yet and Mr Wood asked for a refund which we agreed to and we also explained that refunds can take up to 7 working days for the funds to show back in your account and you was given written notice so you must allow 7 working days for this to happen.
So if once again you haven’t listened to our advice and have done a chargeback claim through your bank this will be classed as “False Chargeback Claim” and we will develop charges for you doing this and these fees for our time will be passed on to you and enforced by court if need be.
It clearly states in the terms and conditions that you agreed to at the point of purchase False Chargeback claims are charged at £60+ VAT + Additional court costs if it gets that far.
Treat people the same way you expect to be treated!!!
Ordered pellets that did not arrive
Ordered pellets, which said in stock, to wait over a week for them to arrive, and not be in the box. Just a note saying no longer in stock, and they would refund. This has yet to arrive. They took the money in less than a day, but no refund in over a week. Back to Northern Parrots for me.

Good Morning,
I have looked into this today and can see that you placed the order through our website for the “Tops Pellets” and your order was placed on our backorder system for a few days while we wait for a fresh delivery of this product which it clearly states that this can happen in our terms and conditions and it also states if you need any particular product urgently that you are to contact us to let us know but you never did this.
Northern Parrots are the ones at fault here because they never order enough product from the manufacturer and they are the only Uk Distributor of the “Tops Pellets” so as soon as they go out of stock on there website it creates a mad dash for people to try and get them elsewhere and our stock levels deplete in just a couple of hours because of people panic buying and we can only prioritise the first orders.
We are much cheaper on most products than Northern Parrots up to 60%.
I can see that a refund has been processed and you would have received email notification saying this, refunds can take up to 7 working for the funds to show back into your account but this can depend on who you bank with.

Swift delivery of my large parrot cage, packed really well, no damage, instructions were minimal so you need your macano head on. The company does need to send customers an invoice via email or text msg, I never received this with the parrot cage. I've placed another order for parrot food and toys, again I've received no email of invoice or date of delivery. Helen Nicholson

This place deserves more than five stars!
Visited the shop on Friday - wow! It’s 45 minutes from us and we were totally prepared to be disappointed but oh my goodness, it was absolutely worth the trip.
So much choice, aisles of cages on display, so you can properly compare them.
Could not believe the variety of toys, we had to rein ourselves in!
The quality and prices are excellent.
And then, to top it all off, the guys were delightful, really happy to help.
Already planning a return trip 😊

Great customer service replied emails same day was looking for delivery in Ireland and told me I probably get cheaper buy on Amazon as delivery to Ireland would cost more can say I looked and you pay £100 more on any other site for the same Java stand but it did show they weren’t just after profit so went ahead with my order they shipped it next day I had delivered to Northern Ireland as I live on the boarder it was with me in 3 days the stand was easy to assemble and excellent Quality my blue gold macaw loves it normally takes long time to take to anything new as many macaw owners will understand she in love with it the first night looks so more natural seeing her on this rather than a cage

Very fast delivery on XL cage, Liberta Endeavor beautiful cage and great price compared to other retailers.
Instructions arnt the best but easy enough to construct

Honest, competitive and worthy of trust.
Through absolutely no fault of theirs, the cage we ordered wasn't up to spec. Parrot Supplies arranged a courier to collect the cage, we carefully packaged it up and returned it, and a full refund has been issued.
Sometimes things don't go to plan, it's the way that it's dealt with that counts. Parrot Supplies have earned my trust and my custom, thank you.

Terrible pet shop
Always wait ages for delivery.
My last order i only received half of order and they said bouncing swing would arrive later,it never did.
Still months later after numerous emails...Nothing

This is a very strange review to leave because we don’t have any orders under your name and we was only given your email address from TrustPilot after you left this false review so we sent you a email to ask what was the reason for this false review because we don’t have any orders from you and all you said in your response to that email was “Go Away” nothing else which says it all really (this shows what sort of people go out of their way to leave false reviews) not based on facts or true experience.
This is either a jealous competitor of ours or someone who has mistaken us for someone else.
Horrible delivery response
Very very slow to deliver then only part delivered and claimed that the full order had been delivered. Make sure you take pictures to prove what's in the box.

Hi, some large orders may have multiple parcels per consignment which can sometimes be sent out separately and sometimes can be delivered a few days apart this isn’t a fault with us and it’s normal practice for most courier companies.

I ordered a budgie cage (Amazona 2) unfortunately it was out of stock.
I decided to get the Amazona 1, they sorted it and I received it the next morning.
The cage is perfect for my 2 budgies, plenty of room for them.
I'm really pleased.

Scam business
Ordered a swing feeder from their Ebay site then realised its not due for delivery for 8 weeks. Won't reply to my messages, doesn't answer the phone and I can't cancel the purchase. £40 lost...for now but I'm pursuing it!

Dominic Price, You did not pay any attention to the estimated delivery dates displayed to you at the point of sale on eBay, you was aware of this because eBay wouldn’t allow you to open any case because they to said this was the buyers fault for not reading the listing correctly, and no you aren’t £40 out of pocked because the item was delivered to you within the advertised delivery times.
And you sent one message through eBay messages and it was replied to within 24hrs.
Its really funny when people know they’re in the wrong and still persistently blame others for their mistakes.
Misrepresentation
Do not buy. You have been warned. Misrepresentation of the parrots toys. Meant to be 24 inches long. Actually 10 inches long. Said that toys varies on batch to batch. As I had used it then all I was wanting was a partial refund. But he has refused.

Firstly if you had received an incorrect size item why on earth would you go ahead and use it, you just wouldn’t.
You were offered a free return but because you decided to use the item it voided this.
This was just a ploy to get the item at a cheaper price.
We are fair people but not stupid!!
All descriptions for our parrot toys come directly from our suppliers.
