Not sure why I dealt with such a shady company who keep altering their warranty page that contradicts themselves anyway. You can't keep people's deposits that's the whole point and basing it off a car that doesnt look to have faults is a pretty poor way to back that up. And your sales manager? Crap. Doesn't even give you a name, but, James, I think we now know. Perhaps run a more legit company without bullshi*ting people. All I've read is how people have ended up spending THOUSANDS on their vehicles to even keep them road worthy and you pay back pittance to them, if that. You pressure into financing vehicles and highly state there's no reason why nobody would want your vehicle. That's up to the customers discretion, not yours. If they say they want their money back. Just give it back. You don't have admin fees of £199. There's no admin for you to do reserving a vehicle. and it doesn't say that on your website either. Which has been screenshot. Surprised you haven't had more public embarrassment. Get out of the vehicle dealership trade, you're no good.

Absolutely amazing service from Darren at platinum car centre! From contacting him Wednesday afternoon to arrange viewing the car to him helping us process our finance we picked up our dream car Thursday evening! He was even happy to wait for us as we had to drive over an hour to get to them!
I part exchanged my vehicle and they even cleared the remaining finance on my car. Could not recommend them enough! Thank you so much Darren, you 100% made my day!

In the cut throat world of Car Sales, the folks at Platinum stand our for their experience and down to earth no nonsense approach. Which is sadly lacking elsewhere. In short they are good, very good.

Excellent service. Test drove several cars on the day. Salesman more than happy to put himself out shuffling cars around so I could test drive. Good quality stock, I went there to buy a Nissan quashkai and came away with a Hyundai ix35 purely because the Hyundai had better speck. Car came with full mot valet and warranty. Car centre to trust. Never mind honest John it’s honest Martin at platinum car centre. Please remember when your buying a second hand car it’s not brand new and will have age related wear, even Martin hasn’t got a magic wand but he gets things sorted. Cheers.

Please don't buy a car from this company. We have had an absolute nightmare with a Citroen we have bought. Upon collecting the car we found Gearbox Warning light, Brakes are faulty, wing mirror is taped up, air suspension needs fixing (they were aware of this as was told to return car in January to be fixed, no it needs to be now!!!l). So many warning lights for a car that had supposedly been MOT'd and Serviced.....clearly not in my opinion. You can't get through to them as inbox is always full and they dont return calls. I will not be removing this review until this company fixes everything that is wrong. I have children and I simply will NOT be putting their lives at risk for a car that is severely unroadworthy. We are having to hire a car that we can use as the one we purchased is simply not fit to drive in.To say im fuming is an understatement. I am seeking legal advice as I do not want anyone else to go through what we did and companies like this needs to be stopped and reported. My review stays until im a happy customer. I have photos as proof of faults.

Seen a car advertised on Car Gurus, spoke to John at the garage I have to be honest one of the most helpful people I have ever dealt with, could not be helpful enough nothing was to much trouble for them.
John was totally transparent and gave me good advice will 100% buy from them again what they say is what you get.

Honestly please just avoid this business. I wish I had gone with my gut and listened to the negative reviews but unfortunately I didn't.

Edit: Thanks Platinum for checking that I reviewed the correct company, yes I definitely did. I'm purposefully not giving extra details because I have seen how you tear down and discredit anyone who decides to write a negative review of you and I am not letting you do that to me.

I purchased a Nissan navara in Sept 2020 £7995, I found the chassis to be corroded and bent, 4wd didn’t work( was told by Zac it only works on snow and mud) sat nav didn’t work, sunroof leaks, oil leaks... overall a vehicle in very bad condition. Returned the vehicle to be told I have no consumer rights as I am self employed and occasional commute to work. Which is not true( as confirmed by trading standards, my solicitor, their legal advisors and my credit card company) but Zac the second hand car salesman disagrees with all of them!
Have been repeatedly lied to. Zac instructed welding work done on the vehicle against my instructions and did not tell me but continued to say it was being inspected. He did not inform me that the welding had been done for over 5weeks and still 5 months later refuses to tell me what work was actually done. ( he instructed the garage that did the work not to tell me what they did) I returned the vehicle on the advise of Trading Standards as the vehicle was not of satisfactory quality and not fit for purpose. Even their own legal advisors agreed I met the criteria to be a consumer. After 5 months of arguing in which Zac provided no legal evidence I wasn’t a consumer I made a claim via my credit card and have now been refunded. I was instructed to take the vehicle to Webuyanycar. And even they wouldn’t to buy it due to the overall poor condition. After having to get more work done to make it sellable it was independently valued at £3100. I have been threatened with storage fees whilst they kept it in a pub car park and then found the vehicle had been abandoned down the road for 3 months without being locked!
Also part exchanged a Skoda Yeti, Zac didn’t not inspect or even look at the vehicle which should have set the alarm bells ringing! They do not inspect vehicles they sell and simply supplying a new MOT doesn’t guarantee the vehicle is safe! All of this information is factual and can be proven. But I’m sure they will thank me for my review then spin more lies.

Reply to your response. WOW please put the footage of me jumping over the fence! You will not as this is another lie. Simply a DISGUSTING company and staff. FACT you sold a car in terrible condition and you refused to refund. You lied about work you did and continue to lie.

We never discussed putting tools in the truck only surf boards.

Please admit you are lying about me barging into your office and jumping over a fence! Or I will have no choice but to take legal action again! (Maybe your are confusing me with another unhappy customer)I have a full audio recording of my visit to your office in which the only aggression was by Neil on my request to have the keys to my vehicle to inspect the welding.
I have received full refund from my credit card company which you have seen proof of and their request I take the vehicle to webuyanycar. More lies!
Re the Nissan Juke. It required tyres and wipers within days of purchase which you paid for and then a few days out of warranty it needed a battery and starter motor and alternator. You never sent of the paper work to cancel the tax on the yeti which you said you would.

Brought car from Platinum car sales back in January under lockdown rules so couldn't view or test drive. Picked the car up and was dissapointed with a few things, but Zac has put these right and continues help as and when needed.

I'm a disabled lady of a certain age (a complete technophobe) Zac and the team were very patient with me and helped tremendously. I'm now mobile again and very happy with my car, which they delivered to me, with a new MOT too.

The team at Platinum always go above and beyond to help whenever I need it! Highly recommend !

We spent nearly 30k here, trading in a beautiful vehicle at a low price, yet the vehicle we brought was not mint as described, promised to send us new part for rear lock and missing keys, but not even willing to returns are calls. Very disappointing. Rubbish aftercare.

We still have never received a new lock or refund for the key and are more than willing to share the WhatsApp conversations with your employee Zac who which we repeatedly asks for a update on the lock and payment for spare key. The (lock) you are referring to was just the meterial strip that allows you to reach the tailgate when it is open. Which was also missing not or the lock or catch that is still missing which allows you to lock the tailgate, which still slams open on heavy breaking.
Maybe platinum cars staff could communicate amongst yourselves as that seems to be problem instead of blaming the customer thats has spent alot of money. So again i standby my statement YOUR AFTERCARE IS RUBBISH.
If you are able to rectify these issues as you had promised then we will be more than willing to remove or re-edit this reviews.

Bought a car unfortunately with only 3 months warranty. Within 5 months the car had cylinder 2 failure my mechanic said the engine looked like it had been worked on before. I rang the company and they didn't want to know about it. Absolutely disgusting.

I’ve had quite a few cars off these guys over the years and had next to no problems at all with any of the cars I’ve had. I’ve had a few tiny issues but literally nothing at all but the guys are straight onit and putting those issues right. They r a great bunch and very friendly and they dnt force u into anything or any car that u dnt want. I highly recommend um for a descent newish car. There’s always plenty of cars and also different types to suit everyone 👌👌👌👌👌

Bought my bmw from them great people very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help me get what I what 😄 car came with 12 months mot and a service they have been nothing but helpful deffo recommend this garage :-)

I Bought a car off them in march this year a fault with a breaking sensor wasn't fixed that was meant to be done, cost me £856 on day

2. Was promised the car had an MOT and service, the MOT is questionable but definitely no service as I've had one done and the findings were shocking, disks worn less than barley 2mm on the break shoes, filters were full of thick black sludge
needed new brake shoes and disks all round, oil change, filters air con clean, there was no coolant in the car, back wiper was broken services cost in the end £875. ( Was meant to have had a service 😏.

The faults started coming half way home from driving the car off the forecourt. Since these problems I've had to buy a new fan unit £230, the turbo broke £1040, the touch screen on the radio broke £1000 for a new one.

£4000+ spent on this car since march, they are not even apologetic!! I was offered £199 for the sensor out of £865 and received £140.

My mistake for buying a car that had a cat n but was assured it had a slight bump and had work done to the bumper, after the car had been looked at due to recent faults it was found that the front light brackets had been plastic welded along with other plastic fixings under bonnet, the paint job has what they call the orange peel effect.

I was charged £9000 for this car the car I find out ( I should have researched this first😡) is only worth around £4000 because of the cat n, I have been done out of £9500 considering how much it should have been up for sale, if it was I wouldn't of minded spending a bit of money, but the fact of them not even being sorry or honest is the most upsetting.

Bought a mini cooper S 58 plate from here, as soon as got home the engine management light came on constantly. Had diagnostic check done, misfire on all 4 cylinders & high pressure system code 2880 came up. Complained so had to drive it nearly 50 miles back to dealer for repair. Told it was spark plugs, supposedly put right. Still not running properly. Had another diagnostic check done, still misfiring on 2 cylinders, 2880 high pressure system warning, again & vanos sensors not performing. Back to garage, they replaced vanos sensors OK. By this time had car 6 weeks but only actually been able to drive for 2 weeks. Comes back again, 2880 code still coming up & drives like a bag of ****(engine management light still on constantly). Cuts out frequently when pulling out from a junction (dangerous) & Kangaroo hops for first 20 minutes of drive time. Got back to sales manager & basically he said don't want to know contact the warranty people. Been told by 2 garages that these warranties are not worth the paper they are written on. Been in touch with warranty claims, time will tell. Would not touch this garage with a barge pole.
