Vår familj bokade en mindre SUV på företagets egna hemsida med försäkring och färjebiljett från den 12/6-25 tom den 22/6-25. Mkt bättre än via booking eller andra sidor👍
Vi fick ett jättebra mottagande då det var första gången för oss att hyra bil och det blev inte sämre av att vi fick en helt ny Renault Captur😁
Vi filmade och dokumenterade ändå bilen vilket killen som lämnade ut bilen också uppmanade till.
Allt funkade toppen med bilen under hela vår vistelse👌
När vi lämnade tillbaka bilen så gjorde den som tog emot en snabb översyn och var mkt trevlig.
Vi betalade ca 4100 kr för hela vistelsen ink. försäkring "smart och färjebiljett) vi fick frågan om vi ville lägga till dygnet runt assistans samt tvätt av bilen vid återlämnandet. Vilket vi lade till ca 200 kr extra totalt.
Fick depositionen återbetald efter ca 1 vecka på 5000 kr.
Kan verkligen rekommendera företaget😊

I booked a car through Discovercars with Last Minute Rent a Car to be picked up on Split and dropped off in Dubrovnik. The check in process was quick and easy but the car pick up was slow, having to wait around in the blazing sun at 34 degrees with no shade. I was shocked to be asked for an extra 10 euros or return the car clean. I’ve never heard of that before.

I booked an Opel Corsa or similar and was given a Dacia Sandero. I had never driven one before so assumed it was in the same class. After a day or two I discovered it isn’t. It has low power, no radio, average air conditioning. We were staying in a house in the mountains so whenever we went out getting back to the house was a challenge with the hills.

To top it all the exhaust started blowing while we were driving to Dubrovnik.

When I returned the car in Dubrovnik I said I didn’t think the car was the same class as a Corsa but they just laughed and said ‘yes, it’s really a city car and is shit’! Thanks.

I should have changed it in Split in hindsight.

Everything went smoothly and I was even offered a free upgrade to the next car tier

We were wary of smaller hire companies from previous poor experience. Would use again.

We rented a compact car in Zagreb and returned in Dubrovnik. The full insurance price included crossing borders and island hop on. The car was new (KIA stonic) and no issues at all. Fast process to get the car and leave the car at both airports. I was fully covered and I didn’t need anything so everything was smooth. I cannot judge if we should had any issue so my rate of the company is outstanding. I would use them again without doubt.

Une expérience fabuleuse avec Last minute à Split ! Nous avons eu des déboires avec Avia, une agence juste à côté et Last minute nous a aidé en moins de 10 minutes. Ils nous ont loué une voiture pour 3 adultes et 2 enfants en bas âge de qualité et sans vices cachés ! La caution et le paiement ont pu être effectués par plusieurs cartes sans soucis ! La voiture était prête à notre arrivée et Climatisée ! La récupération et le retour de la voiture ont été rapide, fluide et très agréable ! Le personnel est très professionnel et très aimable ! Je recommande vivement !

Total scam. Truffa. Il prezzo totale non corrisponde al servizio richiesto; si integra di clausole in piccolo post sottoscrizione; copertura assicurativa fuffa. Ho scritto e fatto review al broker partner e all’erogatore di servizi oltre che all’associazione consumatori.

Picked up car in Pula airport. Papers were ready, good information and friendly staff. Almost brand new car, very clean,... Easy to return.

Via Sunnycars geboekt, auto opgehaald bij Split airport. Bij de balie formulieren getekend en wij kregen een gloednieuwe auto. Zonder extra te betalen mochten wij de auto op een ander punt inleveren na de huurperiode van een week. Fijn bedrijf zonder verborgen kosten.

Lady on arrival (Rijeka) was busy with telefon calls for 20 min, no goodmorning, not friendly, threatened twice to buy extra insurance, while we booked via Sunny Cars (everything included). Not speeding up while another 4 customers were waiting. Guy who brought us to the car was nice and friendly, good explanation, car had a lot of damages and was not so clean. We filled up the tank and washed the car. Nobody checked that when we left the car. We were very happy that we booked via Sunny Cars. We will never book directly with Last Minute. €300,- deposit return took 20 days.

I made a reservation from 8PM, which is a little earlier than my flight arrived, because I wanted to avoid being blamed for too tight rental period. Due to a slight flight delay I was at the desk at about 9.05pm. The employee fined me €40 (!!!!! which is more than a days charge for the car) for late pickup. And offered me a corrupt way of handling it by only paying half of that money cash to him. So in my opinion crazy regulations and very unprofessional and corrupt approach. Last minute rent a car never again.

Deposit Scam! Steer clear of this company.

My husband and I traveled to Croatia with our 15 month old using this car rental company back in May of this year. The car was fine, but the professionalism & honesty of this company was not. After returning the car, we were told that everything looked good and that we would get our deposit back, but after countless emails with the company, we never got our >$200 CAD deposit back. I am still in disbelief how a company could have absolutely no integrity and accountability.

Absolutely stay away from this company unless you want to be financially taken advantage of.

Edited: the company has responded that it could be an issue with our bank, but we have confirmed with our bank numerous times that there should be no issue receiving overseas funds and have told this to Last Minute several times. I have zero energy left to deal with Last Minute. After being ignored/ told unhelpful information for months on end, I finally decided to come to terms with the fact that I was taken advantage of and so, got rid of all the paperwork I had and decided to move on. I will simply never do business with them again and will let others know of our negative experience.

When most companys want 700-5000 euro i security deposit just to make the booking, last minute rent a car have more reasonable prices and we had 300 euros which we got back the day after the rent was over. Also they allow debet cards and cash.

They are conmen. I rented a car from them for one day. They took €850 payment on my card. Now 2 weeks later, despite numerous emails & phone calls I haven’t received it back.

Got scam by this company.

Classic SCAM, they tried to scam first saying there is damage on the car, after proof (videos) that the little tiny thing on the mirror was here previously, they said they would refund me the 200e they took from the deposit. It has been a month and the money never came.
Total silence from the interlocutors, I tried to contact via diverse emails but they just ghost me.

We rented a car for 1 week. Everything was smooth and we had no problems at all. Great service and friendly people.

Once we got the car we made a video to make sure we get all the scratches on video. The company asked us to make a deposit of 950€ and that we would get the money back once we return the car with no damage.
We returned the car and the company took 200€ without notifying us, when we asked they told us that there were a scratch on the side mirror. Once we reviewed the video we saw that the scratch was there before we got the car and we notified them about that. They said that they were sorry and that they will return the money. More than a week has passed and we still haven't got the money and now they don't answer us anymore.

The booking, which cost £532.89 (approximately €630) for 5 days, was confirmed with the understanding that it would be provided by lastminute.com. Based on this reputable brand and the promise of a Mercedes GLA or similar, I agreed to pay the premium rate of €126 per day.

Upon arrival, I discovered that the rental was actually handled by Last Minute Rent a Car, a local Croatian company which has no relation with lastminute.com , and it was clear that they did not even have a Mercedes GLA available. Instead, I was given a lower-tier vehicle, which was disappointing given the price paid. Had I known that the rental would be managed by a different company and that the vehicle promised would not be available, I would not have agreed to this higher rate.

Moreover, the car was provided with only 3 out of 8 bars of fuel, contrary to the "full to full" fuel policy stated at the time of booking. This forced me to refuel immediately upon starting my journey, disrupting my travel plans and causing unnecessary delays.

We rented 2 vehicles in Dubrovnik branch.
Made direct reservation via email, had their full insurance, procedure was smooth, quick, all the questions answered clearly.
