Rented a car out of Pula Airport for a 2 week family holiday. Really good experience , much better than Europcar or the other big brands. Super helpful front desk staff who sorted us out perfectly. Thanks Clementine & Dominic.

une agence de voleurs... 360 euros facturés sur la caution pour un dommage fictif et totalement invisible.
une arnaque solidement montée, même si l'on prend en photo le véhicule lors de la location (le prétendu dommage se situe sous l'aile du véhicule...).

We hired our car in Zagreb with two bars of fuel. The engine oil light then came on during our trip so we were told we had to return the car and swap it (despite the oil apparently having been checked before we took the car.) We drove out of our way to swap the cars and were then told that we couldn't swap as we had one bar of fuel left and the car had been given to us with two (even though said bar was used driving to swap the cars due to the negligence of the oil check.) Then had to use more time going to get enough fuel to take the car to two bars before we were allowed to swap. Half a day of our holiday wasted due to a lack of proper checks being done by the last-minute.com staff in Zagreb.

Beware! This company will scam you. Choose another rental company or make sure you have reliable insurance to cover unexpected expenses.

When we picked up our rental in Dubrovnik, Croatia, the employee inspected the car. I, being cautious, did my own check and pointed out several scratches. I was told to relax because these scratches were considered normal wear and tear.

However, when we returned the car in Pula, the employee there inspected it meticulously and found numerous tiny scratches, similar to those that were supposedly "normal" according to the first employee. The employee even discovered a noticeable dent in the door that hadn't been reported during the initial inspection! Fortunately, I had taken photos, and I had to firmly convince the employee they were real.

After disputing the dent, the employee insisted I pay for a minor brush scratch on the side of the car. They repeatedly assured me it was no issue since I had insurance.

Finally, I was given a form to fill out, which included leading questions aimed at making me admit to having an accident, which I hadn't. The entire process was extremely unprofessional and felt like a scam.

Avoid this rental company if you want to be treated fairly.

I found it amazing. Hassle free and extremely easy to get the car and to return it (less than 10 minutes). We were very afraid to get a bad company that would try to exploit us on the retun bt looking for every little piece of dust in the car, but this company was honest and straightforward. I would recommend them 100%. We got the car in split airport and we're able to travel the qhole country without any issue at all. We also didn't need to pay for extra insurance and they didn't push down on us either.

I’m afraid I felt completely ripped off my this company on drop off. I’m 51 and have hired multiple cars over the last 25 years. I looked after the vehicle carefully and did not have any problems during the hire at all. On return to Dubrovnik Old Town a scratch less than half a millimeter deep was noted on the lower part of the left front plastic bumper. It was almost unnoticeable. I then felt ganged-up on by about five members of staff and felt forced to pay almost 300 Euros. I suspect this is their business model and would avoid this company.

We rented a car from last minute car rentals for 9 days from Dubrovnik airport for vacationing in Montenegro. Everything went smoothly until we returned the car where a very small scratch on the underside of the car was charged 150 euros plus a fee of 50 euros for handling (??), the only reason they didn’t take more is because they were only legally allowed to take 150 according to the insurance we chose, and we were not informed of a 50 euro “handling” fee. We didn’t take pictures of the underside of the car annd could therefore not see if we did the scratch or not. Unfortunately, I will choose a different company next time I need to rent a car.

Prima service, auto op gehaald op luchthaven split nieuwe Renault captur, maar deze auto zat vol met deuken van een hagelbui, zonden. Wij hadden een lekken band. Dit werd prima opgelost. Auto weer in geleverd op de luchthaven split. Alles goed verlopen. Nu wacht ik alleen nog op de borg van € 300- die van mijn creditcard is af geschreven is nu 2 weken verder.

Terrible company with fraudulent tactics and dangerous cars!

Warning do not use this company. They were unprofessional from the signing of the contract and continued to be throughout. They gave us a dangerous car that had not been serviced properly with a faulty clutch. When the car broke down they left us on a dangerous road for two hours in the blazing heat in the middle of the woods, when they finally arrived to exchange the car the mechanic was rude and aggressive and didn’t explain or give us time to check that the new car was safe before driving away.

There was absolutely no apology for the danger caused as the clutch went as we were driving around a cliff edge. Then when we returned the car with no damage in perfect condition with a full tank they attempted to blame the clutch issue on us without any evidence and threatened us with the police when we refused to pay.

They did not refund the deposit and then without permission attempted to fraudulently take an additional £800 from my bank card. Fortunately we were able to block the card and contact the bank in time. Dangerous cars and fraudulent tactics to make more money. Do not use!

Wir haben das Fahrzeug in Zagreb in Empfang genommen. In Dubrovnik haben wir das Fahrzeug abgegeben. Der ganze Ablauf verlief perfekt, freundlich und schnell.

Rental from last minute rent a car at Pula airport through rental cars.com. Rental office was easy to find and pick up was quick. No hard sell of top up insurances (I did take the €15 breakdown recovery option though). Car was a late model Kia Creed, nice and clean. Shown around vehicle and all previous scratches or dents indicated and noted (photo's taken for reference), agreed fuel levels, signed for and off we went. Return was simple, go to desk car checked over as ok and contract closed. Note, you may need to wait a few days for security deposit to be released. Last minute staff were very helpful and polite. I would 100% use them again.

Très content de mon expérience avec Last Minute Rent a Car dans l’agence de Zadar. Un peu déçu car j’avais réservé une Clio 5 et j’ai eu une Opel Corsa à la place. Mais elle était neuve et très bien équipée: radar de recul, caméra de recul, GPS, CarPlay etc… alors que je n’avais même pas pris ces options.

En regardant sur le net j’ai vu que certaines agences de locations ne sont pas très honnêtes donc j’ai bien pris mes précautions en filmant toute la voiture extérieur et intérieur à la prise en charge de celle-ci, pour ne pas avoir de surprise lors de la restitution, des rayures ou autres dommages qui étaient déjà présents et qui me seraient imputés.

J’ai aussi demandé le rapport de restitution du véhicule qui stipule que tout est ok et que je ne serais pas redevable d’une quelconque somme d’argent, au cas où lorsque je rentre en France la caution ne me serait pas restituée.

Très satisfait de mon expérience avec Last Minute Rent a Car à l’agence de l’aéroport de Zadar.

I wrote a horrible review before and i apologize - The bank made clear what had happened - and i think most see this as if you dont get your deposit back - "Last minute rent a car" will reserve the money in your bank account - and then if nothing have happened to the car when its delivered your money wont be reserved anymore - so you cant see you made a payment. (They dont actually take the money till its due).

I know its a bit unclear what i said but was the best way i could explain it - Hope this will help some of you - Had a somewhat great experience - exept they didnt take any of the cards me and my sister had, so we had to get dads X,D

We rented a car for one week in Zadar. And everything was great, fast service, new good car. The deposit was returned very quickly within a few minutes after we returned the car and checked it for damage

I rent a car for one way trip from Zagreb to Zadar and no chance to damage car on any way. When their inspected car, first think they did was to point on some scratch on bottom of the rear bumper, like they knew exactly where to look. It could not be seen from regular inspection and that tells me they are running same scam multiple times and with multiple customers.
At first i thought they were joking as scratch they pointed to was barely visible. But to my surprise they documented that car was return damaged.
These guys are professional scammers and will not recommend them to anybody.

11 days rent through a third party(Sunny cars)
Very quick deskservice at the airport. Nice car, clean and well kept.
We experienced a minor mechanical problem, got into contact and were sent to the nearest by station to swap the car without a problem. Rented in Zadar retuned it in Split. Perfect service.

We hired a car, picked up from the airport and dropped back after 8 days. We have had a really bad experience with Eurpocar a few years ago so was very anxious this time round. We paid about
£210 for a compact 4 door Kia and had additional insurance with Zurich for another £45 which we did though booking.com.
In hindsight we mainly stayed in old town and the buses and ubers were just fine so we didn't really use the car much at all and it stayed in lock up.
On pick up I found the younger man at the desk with his sun glasses on a bit ubrupt but this could have been a language barrier so have only taken a start off. On return Ricardo was very pleasant and maria who checked the car out was nice but probably young and a but naive. The car had lots of extra scratches and scuffs which were not logged. We took a ton of pictures and videos and also insisted all the scrapes and scratches are logged before signing the documents. However I have to admit she remained calm and understanding so well done to her too.
On the whole a good experience just would encourage the younger sales people to be a little more reassuring and calm.
I would rent a car from them again.
