I cannot comprehend why a driver would drive an extra 1.5 miles for a journey as all that does is ensure no tip is given. Unfortunately this seems to be a recurring theme so will not be using again

Apparently a theif…

Was called after paying my fare online and was told that I had stole the drivers card machine. I said to the driver my fare was paid online and that I hadn’t touched the card machine. He proceeded to argue with me over the phone call so I hung up. 2mins later he phoned back to apologise because he had miss placed it. That’s what you call customer service 👍😂

horrible experience with nasty white…

horrible experience with nasty white male driver in cab 1 who was listening to GBNews while coming home from 15hours trauma in A&E. No customer service, sensitivity to distress. I will never use streamline again. This man shouldn't be allowed to pick people up from a hospital.

Today my niece's wedding at Bootham…

Today my niece's wedding at Bootham registry office. Your amazing taxi driver picked myself,neice and mum from Armana house care home with wheelchair. So polite, took us down in taxi in the little alley way to make it easier for us to access the room where we needed to be. It started to rain and absolutely helped with umbrella to keep mum and me dry. So kind thank you

I would have until today give 5 stars…

I would have until today given 5 stars but I was let down one hour before my booking. I had booked a taxi for 2 journeys for my father in law about 4 weeks ago thinking that a wheelchair access taxi would be an easier option for him. One hour before pick up the 2 journeys were cancelled by streamline. When I called they advised they did not have an accessible taxi in my area. Why has it taken a month to let me know? If they had shown a little curtesay and let me know when I booked it would have given me time to book elsewhere

How much????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tbf reception couldn't find address. However before I could give an explanation they just hang up. Overall after much calling around unfortunately this crew were my only option. Very very expensive and overall scored very rude. I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews but if you're going to quote £21 then charge £34 for 7 miles that deserves 1 ⭐!! Are you going to leave a tip? Sorry no!!!!

This is a excellent cab service qe called to get our elderly father home from the hospital when we were out of town this nice man went there placed our father into his van put his seat belt on took him home talked to us on the phone made our father laugh also encouraging him he'll get better took him into our home and left our father was so happy about his talk with the driver he started walking again telling us he's a fighter we thank you for this godsend the guardian angel sent to our father words cannot express our gratitude your our number one company.

Prebooked day before- Still doesn’t turn up

Pre booked a taxi one morning a week for the past 3 weeks to get me to work. Pre booked the day before each time, for around 8am the next morning. For the past 3 weeks no taxi has arrived, it gets to the booking time without a taxi even being dispatched. Over the past few times I’ve had to cancel and get an Uber, get lifts from other people, or arrive to work considerably late. How a taxi booked for 8:15 doesn’t even set off until 8:37 is questionable. I would understand if they were last minute bookings but you’d think with 12+ hours notice you'd be able to get a taxi to someone on time. Don’t book unless you have a 2 hour window to get where you need to be, it’s worth the extra money to go with any other company, for piece of mind someone will actually turn up.

Booked tax yesterday to go to Bmouth hospital . Taxi Arrived 10 mins earlier than booked making me rush to finish getting ready to go to hospital for operation . Charged me more than was quoted over the phone and insisted on giving him my only cash £20 plus taking rest on a card. a dropped me off further away from entrance leaving me to walk with suitcase in pouring rain even though he could see i was Disabled and told him i was going in for foot operation. Then had the cheek to give me his card for his office . i wont be booking them again .

Shocking service!

Shocking service!! Left standing in the pouring rain for almost 30 minutes after booked time on New Years Eve. Repeatedly told by the office ‘he’ll be there in a couple of minutes’ Driver eventually called from a number withheld, leaving a voicemail that just said your taxi is here’ …. It wasn’t and I had no way to call the driver back! When trying to contact the office the auto message said the driver was unable to locate us, despite us being exactly where the pick up was. Luckily the driver turned up for another booking and thanks to the taxi dispatched text I’d had 20 minutes before I had the registration of the taxi I was expecting. He had the nerve to say he’d been trying to contact me and I was the third not to turn up!!!!! by this time I’d called the office 3 times trying to locate the very late taxi. If his previous 2 fairs hadn’t turned up surely he should have been with us earlier as he’d not transported anyone from those 2 no shows. Just lying to cover shoddy service. Avoid this taxi company.

Five star treatment for our 84 year old mum

Our 84 year old mum needed a taxi from her care home in Norden to my sisters for Christmas day.
What fantastic service they have vehicles to cater for mum to get in with her mobility with wheelchair and walker as well.
When she,arrived at her destination the lovely man even pushed mum right up to the door as he could see my sister struggling. Thank you so so much for your fantastic service you made my mums day and ours a good one and precious memories made.
It will be nice to use your sevice again for mum when we need it and not worry. Once again thank you guys.

Shocking customer service!

Booked a taxi online for my dad who's in a wheelchair for his Xmas day out. Had 2 emails confirming the journey along with a job number to go and to return. Didn't show up on time so called to see where it was and was told it had been cancelled!! Under no circumstances was I informed of this and was told they didn't have a wheelchair access taxi available. Meaning that my dad, who doesn't get out very often and this was his first day out in 6 months, didn't get out that day to meet all his family who were waiting for him at a restaurant. Absolutely shocking service and no empathy at all was given by the call handler who was dealing with this. Will never use this company again!!

VO74GUH, driver named James made very rude, racist and sexist comments while refusing to drive me and my friend home saying “it wasn’t payed for” even though it was fully payed for. He then realised we had payed for the ride home and decided to drive 5 minutes past my house, even though I told him to stop and let us out multiple times.

It’s not often I’ll give a negative review as for the most part I understand that things can go wrong however, it’s clear that streamline have zero customer care.

I’d booked and prepaid for a 7 seater to arrive at 0015. No taxi arrived, when I called to get an update I was met with abuse from Jamie. I can live with the taxi being late. I called so that I could manage expectations & make arrangements to keep warm as we had children with us but Jamie in his top customer care skills brought into question my parenting skills by stating ‘I don’t know why anyone would have kids out at this time of night’ well Jamie, I was at a family event & booked & prepaid for a taxi to arrive at 0015 as that’s when the party ended. Had I wanted it to arive at 0035 I would’ve booked it for then. This shouldn’t have been a surprise as I booked it 12 hours beforehand.

The driver that arrived was spot on & I can’t fault him. I always tip but Jamie’s attitude left a bitter taste so sadly I couldn’t bring myself to part with anymore money to this company.

Didn’t turn up despite me booking well in advance and confirming earlier today that my wheelchair taxi was booked at 1:30 to take me to a hospital appointment. When I rang after waiting 15 minutes after the time it was booked I was told they were busy and they would be 45 minutes late. That would have made me late for my appointment. So I had to leave it and rearrange a long awaited appointment. No one bothered to let me know they were going to be late. If they had, I could have made alternative arrangements. Very very poor service for disabled users. Don’t take the booking unless you can honour it.

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. I've spend hundreds of pounds using this firm in the past couple of years but they are no longer able to guarantee a car at the time you book for. Ordered a car for 11:50am to take me to a ferry booking. I called at 11:55am and was told it would be 20 minutes .. Hoping Troon Cabs can get me there on time!

Usually great..but not on a bank holiday apparantly.

Usually great..but when i get told my drivers outside 10 mins prior....wait outside for 10 mins...come in call them to be told theyre 2mins away...
Then call again after 5 mins...for them to have the audacity to tell me the driver arrived and i missed it!!@?@?@ would love to know when i missed it.
They're excuse was its busy cos of bank holiday. I work a bar...i get it...but im a young female who got catcalled over the road cos they had me waiting out in the cold for 10 mins...then i was the issue.
I cancelled my booking and suggest if its a weekend or bank holiday i wouldnt bother unless you want to be gaslit into believing a taxi miraculously escaped your view on an empty one way road? Ridiculous. United came within 2 mins and also waited whilst i locked the front door for the 3rd time in the past half hour.

Terrible taxi firm

Terrible taxi firm. Do not use them. We booked a taxi at 22. 50. It never showed up. Phoned the firm and were assured it was on its way. Eventually arrived at 23.35. I will not recommend to anyone.

Excellent wheelchair taxi service

May I say how fantastic the service was from streamline taxis when ordering a wheelchair taxi to visit the hospital with my 88 year old mother whose husband was on palliative care at st James hospital. They were courteous on time and wonderfully friendly even to the point when after not long leaving the hospital we had to go back as we got a phone call to say that mums husband was deteriorating fast. There was no questions asked and the driver turned round and took us back. The office was efficient and understanding.

Terrible app and service!
Via the app I pre booked a taxi at 1pm to pick up my wife at 3.35pm in order to collect my child From preschool. 2 minutes before the taxi was meant to arrive I received a message saying my booking had been cancelled.
After calling streamline York office the lady I spoke with said “we don’t have any cars and this is why you should have phoned and booked instead of using the app”. Even though the app confirmed the booking.
I was also told,after airing my frustrations for such a late cancellation with no earlier communication, that if I wanted to complain then I would have to complain about the app!
This IS streamline York’s app!!!

Horrendous service that left my wife stranded and my toddler wondering why her mummy hadn’t picked her up!

I sorted the collection of my daughter but no thanks to this company, their shoddy app and abysmal customer service.
