Wickes installers carried out our bathroom installation during the week beginning 1st December. The two gentlemen were fantastic — on time, tidy, and they completed the job as scheduled. They explained all the steps clearly throughout the process. The wall and floor tiling was beautiful, flat, and straight. They cleaned up after themselves, with minimal dust during the demolition and tile cutting. I couldn’t fault their work. 5 Stars!

However, the Wickes bathroom adviser in-store felt a little pushy and advised us to purchase the wrong radiator, as well as providing some incorrect guidance. This included advising us to buy certain items in store as they werent available online. The delivery of the bathroom items arrived in three separate parts, of which we were only aware of one. The other two deliveries arrived unexpectedly, and it was lucky we were in and that the installers were able to wait for the items. 4 Stars.

Despite a few bumps along the way, it was a good overall experience. I would recommend sitting down and doing your own research into the fixtures and fittings to ensure you’re getting a good deal and that everything fits correctly.

We would like to thank our consultant at Hinckley Wickes, Karen Waldron, for all her help, advice and support with our new kitchen. She answered all our questions and made the process so easy for us especially when we wanted to make some changes. Her happy disposition and can do attitude reassured us throughout the process.

We have just ordered our second kitchen at Wickes Hinckley with Sandhu following the excellent service we received over nine years ago. We were really pleased to be able to design and order again with him as he is extremely professional, makes the whole process very easy and is always available to help with any questions.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen. Karen who helped us design the kitchen has gone above and beyond all our expectations and has been brilliant, a true asset to Wickes and a lovely Lady.

From the beginning all the staff we have interacted with have been great. They have accommodated any changes we needed to do to the time line, layout and units for our kitchen.

I booked an appointment to design our new kitchen about a month ago, we already knew what we wanted... or so I thought! After receiving some really helpful advice from Sandhu, we tweaked the design a fair bit and placed the order 😊 He was very friendly and always prompt at replying to queries. We got an amazing discount as we ordered while the October sale was on, cheaper than an Ikea kitchen even though we chose a premium worksurface! So excited to see it all come together in December!

Sandhu was really helpful in planning our kitchen, great ideas and advice on what would work best for us. Can’t wait for it to be fitted

Initial design of new bathroom done by Yussuf at Hinckley. He could not have been more helpful - not even complaining when 95% of the way through the computer crashed and he had to start again. His suggestions were very positive and really pleased with the outcome

We had 2 new bathrooms from Hinckley store. Karen was excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic service . Karen is a credit to your store . We also had an excellent fitter in Glynn whose hard work and attention to detail was exceptional. He worked so hard and was very super organised and professional. We would definitely recommend Hinckley Wickes and Karen.

Karen at Wickes Hinckley has made our kitchen refurb so easy from the first meeting, planning and the design visit. We have fitted the kitchen ourselves, and her support throughout has been brilliant. Changing parts to ordering extras has been so easy

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with Yussuf Ibrahim from Wickes to design our new kitchen, and we can honestly say the experience has been exceptional from start to finish.

Yussuf came out to our home for an initial consultation and spent around an hour with us, really taking the time to listen to our ideas, preferences, and how we use our kitchen day to day. We were immediately put at ease when we discovered that he’s a seasoned designer with experience working on large-scale, multi-million-pound design projects both nationally and internationally. He even shared some of his previous work with us, which clearly showcased his keen eye for stylish detail and flawless spatial design.

A week later, we had a follow-up meeting with Yussuf in the store, and we were absolutely astounded by what he had created. He had completely transformed our previously unpractical space into a kitchen that was not only beautiful and cohesive, but also far more functional and inviting. The level of thought and creativity that went into his proposal genuinely exceeded our expectations.

We spent over two hours in the store (even going past closing time!) and ended up placing our kitchen order that same evening — that’s how confident we felt in his design and service.

What really stood out to us throughout the whole process was how easy and enjoyable Yussuf made everything. He was never pushy, always patient, and consistently focused on understanding what we wanted rather than trying to sell us something.

We’re still at the early stages of our new kitchen journey, but if the rest of the process is anything like what we’ve experienced with Yussuf so far, we have no doubt it’s going to be an absolute dream.

Just bought a water butt in your Hinckley store and was assisted by a very helpful young man. I think his name was Josh?????? He went way beyond helpful and spent time trying to find a stand for the water butt but Wicks don’t sell one that fits the item I bought which I found rather strange!!!!!

Visited Wickes Hinckley to look at buying a new kitchen, I was little apprehensive to begin. I thought I would get the hard sell but none of the sort.
Met a great salesman Sandhu who walked me through lots of options & suggesting ideas.

After the initial design & plan i made a few changes over the next few weeks which was never an issue. Sandhurst kept in touch & was easy to contact.

I would recommend this design experience to anyone thinking of buying a new kitchen.

Sandhu has been extremely helpful on every visit that we’ve had, answered any questions or doubts that I had personally and is really bought the idea of a new kitchen come to life. Thanks again.

Yussuf was very helpful and knowledgeable and made it easier for us to choose our new kitchen. With his expertise we were able to plan exactly what we wanted. He was polite and easy to communicate with.

First time using click and collect arrived at wicked Hinckley store within 10 mins of purchase my compost was on the trolly ready for collection. Lovely staff. Thank you

We purchased a kitchen from Wickes, Hinckley We worked with Sandhu who has been on hand for any queries we have had, we had some slight issue with stock when goods were delivered but again was sorted via Sandhu.
The installation of the bathroom was a dream the team we had couldn’t have been any better.

After a complete and utter failure from the 1st designer, we were recommended to go back to Wickes by the absolute diamond of a fitter; Pete, and speak with Sandhu; to get him to redesign a whole new kitchen. And honestly truthfully, we do not have the words. From his initial visit, polite, friendly, very knowledgeable and very professional. Within a day he had completely redesigned our lovely new kitchen, sent over the new images, and organised us to visit to run through the finer details. We sat at store, and Sandhu explained all the finer details, exceptionally well, precisely and clearly. He took us to the display area, where we could see how it would all look together; splashback, work surface, and cupboard facings, and I'm not ashamed to say; looking at those items reduced me to tears. So so lovely and easily imagined in our little space for the kitchen. On Sandhus desk, he has quite a few trophies, which from our experience, very very well deserved, just hope we in some small way can add to. Between Sandhu and Pete; a very formidable team, in the kitchen design/fitting world. Top top people, seriously cannot rate highly enough. And a mention also to Martin, the manager at Wickes, who was a bit surprised and disappointed as to the first design going so totally badly; and our our whole experience.
