Wickes - St Albans Opiniones 

On my second kitchen with Wickes, had problems with first kitchen brought this summer. Damaged items, wrong item, damaged item resent out, poor in store service, had to pay for kitchen before I could find out the delivery date. St Albans instore said let us measure up and we’ll get it done properly, came out measured up.

Stuff arrived,
She cocked up the measurements 800 wall unit doesn’t cover boiler, and door won’t close. No supply for an extractor she’s sold me, damaged doors and end panel and plinths. As she messed up the 600 dishwasher doesn’t fit as she didn’t bother to take into account piperwork, and kitchen was empty when she came round so no excuses that she could see the paperwork, I’ve had to sort out with customer services to have correct one sent out then the vindictive person cancelled my new dishwasher delivery.

Do not use Wickes, their stuff is poor quality and when I had to put feet on, the bit you have to attach for the feet went through the carcus better to go to b and q, their off shelf is a bit more expensive but far better quality

And to top it off the designer has cancelled the replacement dishwasher which was supposed to be delivered to day and told customer services that I said I didn’t want it. She screws up the design and I end up without a dishwasher, the wrong dishwasher was to be picked up on Saturday when they deliver the rest of the damaged items

So, I’m not that knowledgeable about pressure washers but I’ve paving stones to clean, windowsills to smarten up and a borrowed karcher that’s so old it has no accessories or connectors… which meant a trip to Wickes. Where I met Tony… who was busy unloading a load of stuff from a basket. I saved him from that task by telling him about my total lack of knowledge and asking for help!

Tony Turner - He was simply amazing, answered all my questions, looked up my old borrowed model on the pc, even found bits on eBay that might work… helped me choose a new hose pipe, with the correct connectors, and I bought a new Karcher as well.

So pleased with my purchased and very impressed with the professional support available at Wickes. Tony is a credit to the company!!!

Great service , great bathroom , great after sales service

Azee at St Albans designed my new kitchen. He took notice of my requirements and designed a very well thought out layout which is very practical. It makes moving around much easier and looks far bigger than the original kitchen with lots of light coming through.
Products were all of a good standard.
Cabinets and appliances were fitted well.
I am very pleased with the overall look.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received while designing my new kitchen. Tony Crowley was professional, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand my needs and made great suggestions on how to best use my space. He worked within my budget and offered solutions without compromising on style or quality. Azhar Fajardeen our designer was wonderful, caring and very very understanding of what we wanted, his designs were terrific and are now in our home. The guys who carried out the work were brilliant too, very helpful and accomodating. All in all I recommend

My designer - Azhar. His end to end guidance and support made my journey simple. The duration from market research till completion Of work can be really tiring and strenuous when we embark on journey of building work especially while living in the house.
Wickes and Azhar made sure that I was provided with right guidance and support. The design work was also done to perfection and then comes the implementation where I was given choice between builders by actual survey and consultation.
People say that Wickes is expensive but I would say it is value for money if you are looking for not much of a hassle.

What a great experience! From the outset Azhar, our designer, was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was never ‘pushy’ and guided us through every step. During the design process, he listened to my vast wish list! And made several changes, as I developed my requirements! Always with patience and understanding. He helped us to squeeze out every bit of available
space, without the kitchen being overcrowded, clearly showing his extensive skills. We are absolutely delighted with the outcome.

A very experienced kitchen designer - Azee listened to me, and suggested an option we had not considered to give us more space. He had good ideas - I trust his judgement. He was also very helpful in suggestions for other aspects, eg flooring, pocket doors. I would not hesitate to recommend him for your kitchen designs

First I ordered my kitchen , some items came late and some came 3 deliveries which it messed our plans and cost me more in labour , the cooker was faulty and cost me double to change it because I had to pay a Electrition and gas tech again , same thing happened when I ordered my bathroom , items came late and in 3 deliveries, my sink was cracked also , everytime I had to call back and send emails , so much time was wasted , each call out charge for the problems cost me £350 , we are very disappointed

The staff in kitchen design are really helpful, knowledgable and friendly, Raeanna was great helping me find touch up paint to repair a damaged cupboard, and helping with a return. Tony planned our refit using some of our existing cupboard ( still current range) it’s the 2nd time we have used kitchen design and also had help with bathroom design.
Always my first choice for home improvements.

Ordered several items early this morning for click and collect at local store . I got a call from Paul, at the St Albans store to say that I hadn’t ordered a battery for the item but if I cancelled and reordered there was a deal that included the battery, gave me the item number and I made the change . Really appreciated the thought and call to make sure I bought a device I could use . Great customer service

I have ordered a new kitchen and the design and helpfulness was exceptional.

Azhar created a lovely bathroom design for us and was very kind and patient with all of our many requests. He made the process very easy and helped us meet our budget.

Needed help understanding my own measurements for doors and flooring, the guy named Steve in St Albans store was absolutely a god send ☺️ explaining my measurements in mm 🥺😳 honestly above expected customer service shown by this lovely guy a credit to Wickes
