Don’t take the risk like me- listen to the countless 1 stars. I am in the process of reporting them to Trading Standards. They use the ABTA logo/ blurb on their website however they are not ABTA protected/registered (ABTA specifically list ‘Travel Lords Ltd trading as Flights and Tickets’ as ‘not permitted’ on their website) Will you get your tickets, most likely yes, but you will never pay what you signed up to pay. It’s a classic and textbook bait and switch scam- lure you in and pay a deposit for 1 price and then change the price.
I called up and signed up to £1125 return flights and was told to call back and book the seats a couple days later- deposit paid, despite me wanting to pay in full at that time. When I called back, they said my inbound flight was confirmed but the outboard ticket type price had increased from the originally quoted £800 to £1100 and that I would get a £200 voucher to use for my inbound flight- when I asked for this in writing on an email multiple times, each time they would call me and told me not to worry, I never received this in writing (important later)… As I thought this was still cheaper than other agents (with my £200 voucher to use), I went ahead with it. My outbound ticket came though and was told to call back to pay for my inbound ticket. When I called back, the exact same issue/scam was used AGAIN- the ticket type was no longer available and that the price had gone up from the original £325 to now £750 (this was the flight that they said had been confirmed at the start…) and to add salt to the wound, they then told me that I could only use a maximum of £100 out of the £200 voucher… something that was deliberately not mentioned and deliberately not put in writing- he then got very aggressive and once I pointed this out.
It’s all very complicated and unorthodox and is a textbook bait and switch scam. The staff seem nice at first but are actually extremely rude and threatening and clearly aren’t properly trained. They make you pay large sums and highlight that you only have 1 hour to transfer the funds to create a sense of urgency. After the £100 deposit, you can only pay the full amount via BACS (red flag), I assume this is to ensure that the customer has no protection and can’t issue a chargeback. I’m sure there’ll write a cocky response like the others claiming that ticket prices change and x,y,z but it’s not true- when you confirm a ticket/booking, you confirm/lock in the price. You don’t purchase a car and then when you come to pick the car up, they say it’s doubled . Just book with a different agent- it WILL be cheaper

I have a very poor level of English, but she never made me feel uncomfortable and took the time to understand everything I needed. She stayed on the phone with me until everything was perfectly sorted. Her kindness and professionalism made the whole experience so much easier and stress-free. DO NOT BUY A FLIGHT TICKET FROM THIS COMPANY!!! The insist they take £100.00 off the cost of the flight, they then leave a message (not call you) to say that it's now too late to get the flight at the price stated and want to increase the costs significantly.
When you tell them to forget it and request the £100.00 back because the flight is now not available at the price quoted, they refuse and state it's in their T&C's.
My advice if you do get scammed by this dodgy company is contact your credit card company and use a section 75 consumer credit activation 1974.

I booked for a ticket which never existed when l tried to follow up on the issue my call was ignored several times.The first consultant was Arya Clark she was only friendly before the deposit was paid after that it became a scam.When l requested for my refund of £ 80 pounds l paid to secure a seat l was given £10 pounds and voucher which l had refused .I tried calling several times again to get my remaining amount and did not get the balance either .I spoke to an Indian guy who was very rude. This is a SCAM SCAM and the y do not like refunding people.Very Entitled!.They are not legit.

Arya clark was the person I dealt with and she was very helpful. I wanted to go to the Philippines and she found me a great deal return flight. Recently i had to contact arya as i messed up my other flights and hotels so i needed to change my return flight. She looked into this and found me a change of return flight. I knew I would have to pay extra but she was very good and explained other return flights were more expensive. I even searched myself for a return flight elsewhere but everything came up more expensive. I will definitely be contacting Arya again when I need to book flights in the future. I spoke to Arya on a number of occasions.

I am writing this detailed review to warn others before they lose their hard-earned money the way I did.
My experience with Trips and Holidays Ltd / flightsandtravel.co.uk has been nothing short of deceptive, manipulative, and financially damaging.
I was quoted a specific price for return flights from London to Jamaica and was strongly encouraged to pay a £250 deposit to “secure” the fare and seats. I was clearly told that once the deposit was paid, the price would be locked in and I could complete the balance payment by an agreed date.
However, when I returned to make the final payment, everything changed.
Suddenly:
The original flights were “no longer available.”
The price had dramatically increased — by hundreds of pounds.
I was offered completely different dates.
I was pressured to accept a much higher fare or lose my deposit.
This is not a coincidence. This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch tactic.
They know exactly what they are doing. They take your deposit first, then when you are financially and emotionally committed to your travel plans, they move the goalposts. You are then left with two choices:
Pay an inflated price for different flights, or
Walk away and forfeit your deposit.
When I refused to accept the inflated price and asked for my money back, I was told the deposit was non-refundable. No accountability. No genuine explanation. No professional resolution.
To make matters worse:
Communication became inconsistent and evasive.
I struggled to get clear answers.
My formal complaint has not been properly addressed.
They rely heavily on “terms and conditions” when disputing matters with the bank, making it extremely difficult for customers to recover their money.
It feels like the system is structured in their favour — secure deposits first, change the terms later, and then hide behind fine print.
This has caused me financial loss and significant stress.
If you are considering booking through this company, please think very carefully. Do your research. Read the reviews. Consider booking directly with reputable airlines instead of risking your money with an agent that appears to operate in this way.
I would strongly advise others to stay away from this website and avoid the risk of losing your deposit.
Consumers deserve transparency, honesty, and fairness — none of which I experienced here.
