I have being trying to ascertain how my brother entered into an annuity via hub with Just just two and a bit years
before he passed away with a serious heart issue which existed at the time he took out the annuities.After 4 months of writing commencing in February I have not received an acknowledgement or substantive response.
This is despite providing a copy of the death certificate and will and codicil.If there was a category below one star or even a minus I would give it.

We first contacted HUB back in August 2025 and finally drew down our equity release funds in June 2026. During this time we continued contact with our agent Steve Harris who was always helpful and very patient and can be fully recommended.

Dont bother, wanted an interest rate for equity release. After three weeks they still want information we havn't got (redemption statement from existing lender). Too many hoops to jump through to get basic info.

Have been dealt with by Laura re the details of converting an old pension pot from Aviva into an annuity with a better offer than Aviva could provide. Laura has very patiently and efficiently dealt with all the details, with the result that we had the best offer from Legal & General, which is now being processed. we were also dealt in the initial stages by Andrew who also gave excellent advice and service.
