We’re sorry that your experience with accessing your pension fund has not met your expectations. We understand you contacted your pension scheme in June 2025, unfortunately, we only received your referral on the 20th August.

Since then we have undertaken our process to provide you with an annuity and have provided you with an outline of our process and typical timescales for each step. We will continue to liaise with you, your pension scheme and chosen provider to ensure we set up your annuity in a timely manner.

Used Owen Reid at Hub Plc to consider transferring out of a defined benefits scheme and received excellent service. He interviewed me extensively to understand my priorities and objectives and then produced a very detailed report that supported a decision to transfer out.

My first dealings with Equity release, working as POA for a friend. Steve Harris has guided me through the process and the issues we have had to deal with, in particular in relation to the problem of severe dementia of the individual concerned.

Dealings with Adult care services is slow, bureaucratic and can be frustrating.

Timing and determining the right financing has been crucial in this exercise; Steve has provided assurance, professionalism and peace of mind.

I am delighted that Alison Wren was my Financial Adviser from Saga Hub Financial Solutions. She made everything about gaining funds from my property clear and very accessible. Alison explored my financial position, putting me at ease by answering questions and clarifying throughout the process. She gave me a full picture of my borrowing options and gave me time to consider and dither as I grappled with the pros and cons of the opportunities available. Alison listened, gave me time. She matched the equity release offers available at the time and gave me choice which was great. Alison also suggested exploring the borrowing alternative of Retirement Interest Only Mortgages as I wanted to repay interest each month. Saga partner with a company called Tembo and the trust I built while working with Alison enabled me to work with Tembo on that basis aswell. In the end the better borrowing rate at the time was with Tembo and I will take that route just now. But I have no doubt I will return to Alison in the future as my borrowing life evolves. Thank you so much Alison for freeing up my lifestyle and ‘later life living’ with your kind and trusted advice. I truly recommend Alison to anyone seeking advice about equity release.

I can honestly say that my dealings with HUB and in particular, Andy Chadwick, were excellent. I felt confident and listened to throughout the whole process, every stage was explained and all my questions were answered honestly and with clarity. The whole process was a lot easier than I had envisaged and I would recommend HUB to anyone considering equity release.

A total of 123 day's start to finish, an extremely frustrating and elongated process.

The telephone staff who I spoke to (and there were many of them over this 4 month period) were very polite and professional, however once each call had ended it felt like there was little or no proactive action taken to follow through the application process. I made several calls myself directly to the various organisations involved just to try and keep it moving forward.

It felt like I was doing the job of HUB Finanacial Solutions for them.

Nothing but superlatives to relate regarding recent dealings with Hub Financial Solutions. Held a set of in depth meetings with Retirement Adviser, Steve Harris, in relation to the feasibility and suitability of a lifetime mortgage. Throughout the process, Steve was polite, courteous, interested, informative and extremely thorough, explaining every step of the application in layman's terms, offering expert advice and ensuring everything was divulged and fully understood.

During my career, I was employed in big business blue chip sales, most notably as UK Sales Manager. As such, I know good people when I see them and Steve is seriously as good as they come, a credit not only to Hub but also himself and his profession in general. Needless to say - and as a direct consequence of the aforementioned meetings and the eventual outcome of these - I would have no hesitation in recommending Hub to anyone seeking similar such advice.
