WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE YET

In almost 32 years now, I have never experienced a worse consumer experience until now with Kotsovolos. This review marks a straight zero out of ten, and in my book gets very close to a criminal point.

It all started a few years back in 2019. I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, and the sales rep on-site accidentally got me a non-5G version. Despite having mentioned that, I chose to ignore that €1.078,99 mistake.

Later, in 2020, I purchased a Samsung Odyssey G9 Monitor, a premium flagship monitor with a cost of €1.686,42. The product was and still is defective, Samsung has both acknowledged and recalled it, and has manufactured revisions that address the issue. I, very descriptively, informed Kotsovolos about all flaws within 14 days of my purchase, and no actions have ever been taken. I've also paid extra for their Total Support Service Contract, which includes an instant replacement term, that have also not been honoured as of today. Multiple contacts have been made, including ridiculous waiting times, and meticulous technical analysis of the issues on my part, but I still have no resolution, and I'm left with a problematic ~€1.7K monitor and a support contract that is not being honoured.

Later, in 2022, I purchased more home appliances at a total cost of extra €1.886,59. A Refrigerator came both with a dent, and possibly defective. I reported the issues with the first 5 days, and since 5 months now, I've been promised both visits from technicians as well as a replacement product, none of which has ever happened. Nobody has even contacted me for anything at all. I am left with a new, state-of-the-art refrigerator that acts weird and wild every couple of hours, rattling and moving from its place.

Now, in 2023, I made another purchase during the 3rd of January. More items with a total cost of €2.960,58. I received one part of that order, a Samsung Tumble Dryer, and then the following happened:

- I was informed that the rest of the items except for a PSVR2 pre-order arrived and will be delivered between 16-20 of January.
- Nothing arrived between 16-20, I was never informed about a single thing, then I received a new delivery date that marked the 7th of February.
-Nothing arrived once again, I was then informed about a new delivery date that marked the 8th of February.
-Nothing arrived again, I was then informed about a new delivery date that marked the 9th of February.
- Nothing arrived again.

That situation went on and is still going on until today, we're getting close to 2 months since my order now.

I have been informed and reassured multiple times that the products will be delivered next day, possibly more than 10-12 times by now, nothing has still arrived.

Just to make you understand, I am supposed to have my products today - again "guaranteed" delivery - after a literal marathon with them, after submitting an official complaint, and after going through all that, they still aren't and won't be delivered. They don't even know what's going on, and they're unwilling to even just have someone at the warehouse just fix it. It is a complete unprofessional mess over there.

I wanted to submit a complaint, I was told there is a complaint form, which there is not.

I wanted to speak with a Manager, an Executive, or with someone responsible for handling Deliveries in the Warehouse. I was told that nobody is available for customers. There is neither the power, nor is it in their policy, for clients to ever come in contact with managerial personnel.

I submitted an official complaint letter through multiple channels within their website, neither did I get a response, nor was anyone rattled about it.

That situation is beyond any possible calm description. We are talking heavy-duty liability concerns, total & utter disrespect, violation of my consumer rights, and lack of any quality or sensible Customer Experience or Critical Issue Resolution parameters in place.

I gave the company more chances to do something about everything than any person would.

To that point, all call agents except for one were excellent.

Without a doubt the worst experience EVER

Without a doubt the worst online purchase experience EVER!. The item that I purchased online has not been delivered and Kotsovolos are not replying to my emails or answering any of my phone calls. I just want a refund so that I can go to a reliable store.
I just emailed the CEO (John Vasilakos - can be reached if you have a LinkedIn account) to express my feelings about his organisation.

I WOULD CALL IT A TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE AFTER I TRIED TO PURCHASE A COMPUTER FROM THE SHOP IN CNOSSOS RD IN HERAKLION.
NOT ONLY I HAD TO PAY AN ADVANCE SINCE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE ITEM IN THE SHOP, NEVER INFORMED ME ON THE STATUS OF THE DELIVERY, SOLD AGAIN THE RESERVED COMPUTER, MINE AND CHARDED MY CARD WITHOUT MY AUTHORISATION FOR ANUNKNOWN REASON.
NEVER AGAIN.

One star because there is no zero.
Yesterday we bought a Nespresso Machine from Kotsovolos Store in Zografou in Athens. The package was supposed to contain a smaller package with 14 Coffee capsules. But the reality was something else. Someone had already opened the box and taken the Coffee. Unbelievable. In serious companies don’t happen these things. And has nothing to do with money or something like that. You don’t open the boxes and take the presents for the customers, that the original company ( Nespresso ) offer.

terrible experience everytime

terrible experience everytime.
They always make delivery promises that they never honour.

They leave you waiting for something to be a scheduled delivery and they never do and not even an apology. This is the third order I am facing this issue.

Each time you call them you wait 30 - 40 minutes on the line and half of the times they either have a lag on the line or the line drops.

They are dishonest and completely careless about the customer.

No matter the price, I will NEVER buy from them again.

Unbelievable delivery retardsfor paid on line order for theoretically available stuff

We paid immediately some 3000 euros on line for 4 pieces of stuff in theory available directly.

They delivered ONLY one piece after…a week. Still waiting for the rest after 15 days.

Their staff is very nice on the phone BUT
1. I had to wait for more than 40 min each of the 4 times I had to call them and
2. They were unable to help.

I have received more ORAL promises today for the fifth time in 16 days but NOTHING IN WRITTEN

A mystery why they don’t communicate via email even when they make such a mess!

Stay away and have a look at their competition. Media Markt delivered always on time equally onerous orders for us without this sort of complications.

Forewarned is forearmed..

Η πολυθρόνα ήρθε, τη συναρμολόγησαν κι όλα καλά για κάποιο καιρό. Έσπασε η μία ρόδα, έχω προσπαθήσει πολλές φορές να βγάλω άκρη αλλά δίχως αποτέλεσμα. Στις γραπτές μου επικοινωνίες, δεν απαντά ποτέ κανείς, μια φορά που πήρα τηλέφωνο (πάνω από ένα μήνα πριν) με ενημέρωσαν ότι οι ρόδες δεν συμπεριλαμβάνονται στην εγγύηση (αναρωτιέμαι τι περιλαμβάνεται) και πως θα επικοινωνήσουν με τον προμηθευτή τους και θα με ενημερώσουν. Ακόμα περιμένω. Product: Sharkoon Elbrus 2 Black/Blue Gaming Καρέκλα
Edit: Μετά από αρκετά παράπονα, παρέλβα 3 νέες ρόδες δωρεάν.

Big stores with nothing available…

Big stores with nothing available anytime you need.
The answer is always the same “we need to order the product because we don’t have any available”
Well if that’s the case I won’t even bother going to the store, I’ll just order online from a different store for better price.
The most annoying thing is the employees. The moment you enter the store they assault you, but when you actually need them they are all playing with their personal phones and seem to be bothered when you ask something.

Hassle

There are not honoring the gift card that I purchased from their website for my mother a month ago. When she went to the cashier they told her the code has expired 2 year ago.They are not even willing to accept their own email as proof that it's a brand new giftcard

I've been on the phone with them for 3 days in a row and they still can't fix it. Everyday they tell me that it'll be fixed by the end of the end of the day and they never do it... Tomorrow I'm getting the local and European consumer protection support involved. Im done with their excuses!

EDIT: AFTER NO WRITTEN UPDATE I DECIDED TO USE THE GIFTCARD ONLINE AND IT WENT THROUGH. WHAT A MASSIVE HEADACHE!

Visit the Kotsovolos in Agia Parasveki to buy an Imac. They claim that there is no availability and I must place an order and it will probably take 1 to two months to receive the merchandise. They had only one item on display in the store. I went home and log in to kotsovolos and did a search. I got two hits one in Agia Paraskevi and one in Ioannina for the same item I was looking for. They package display (εκθεσιακά) items and sell them as brand-new merchandise. It seems that other major chains do the same thing. My brother got a brand new TV with a stick in the USB port containing ads (Media Markt)

Εντελώς προβληματική παράδοση

Παράγγειλα ένα πλυντήριο πιάτων και αφού αρχικά δεν παρέδωσαν την προγραμματισμένη ημέρα (που ήταν μία εβδομάδα μετά την παραγγελία), όταν ήρθαν δεν πήραν την παλιά συσκευή για ανακύκλωση όπως είχαμε συμφωνήσει.,

Πρώτη και τελευταία φορά που αγόρασα…

Πρώτη και τελευταία φορά που αγόρασα κάτι από αυτό το κατάστημα. Εκτός από το ότι ενώ πλήρωσα για εγκατάσταση του πλυντηρίου που αγόρασα,μου το έφεραν και δεν το σύνδεσαν εντελώς με την πρόφαση ότι έσπασε η ένωση που έπρεπε να υπάρχει κάτω από την νεροχύτη. Εκτός αυτού σε 6 μήνες το πλυντήριο άρχισε να παρουσιάζει πρόβλημα,να βάζω το μαλακτικό στο συρτάρι του πλυντηρίου και να φεύγει αμέσως χωρίς καν να ξεκινήσει το πλυντήριο,ενώ είναι ακόμα σβηστό. Έπαιρνα τηλέφωνο με κορόιδευαν για πάνω από 3 εβδομάδες χωρίς να έρθει κάποιος, τελικά έστειλαν κάποιους τεχνικούς,οι οποίοι μου είπαν ότι δεν μπορούν να κάνουν κάτι, και έστειλα ξανά email αλλά δεν πήρα καμία απάντηση. Χάλια εξυπηρέτηση και χάλια προϊόντα.

Despite the fact that they are unprofessional, they keep pushing to sell.
Clearly they are getting a commission on what they sell . Anyway , went there once to look up for a Tv , explained my requirements and my budget, they explained that at the moment there’s nothing available on my budget and i need to wait ..thus is better to buy another tv . Two - three days after , someone called me from their central call center willing to ‘help’ me . Found me what i need in my budged said okay just go there tomorrow , give my name and the information needed and take the specific tv. Went there the next day , no one knows about it , the specific tv not available and again were trying to sell me a tv double the price.
They made me go there once again to just confirm it is not available and sell something else

Yesterday l visited the store in…

Yesterday l visited the store in Thessaloniki, Tsimiski Str. I am beyond words. Despite the 1,5 hour patience, employee Eva Pakaki was the best, she is the dream of customer service. She is in charge on mobile communication and she is so smart,so smart, helpful and pleasant human being that l just wish everyone was like her. I would like to be appreciated as she deserves. In addition to ,l would like to refer to the security guy who did put in order someone that was looking the opportunity to steal my place in waiting to be served ( he noticed or he was told, and he remarked to him that l am first of him in the waiting line,very important). Therefore the other employee by whom l bought the mobile device was very helpful with me. With regards. Maria Rousopoulou

The worst customer experience

I paid 450 euro for 2 chairs on the 26th of November 2022, they were supposedly to deliver them on 28/29 of November.
The day today is 8/12/22 and i still don't know where my order is or anything. Everyday you call them they come up with another excuse. I am waiting 2 days for a call from the store in Nicosia because their customer support said that they cant do anything since it was going to be delivered by the store.
I know for a fact that they don't have the stock and they are just making excuses until it a new stock arrives and say their sorry for the delay etc.

Incompetence, unprofessional, liars.

Not recommended, avoid at all costs.

The worst possible experience. They have a lot problems with their website and do not have the flexibility to find solutions.

I paid 1400 € for two airconditioners and because we modified the order, their system decided to never deliver it.

Order and pay 1/11/2022. After 21 days they call me to say that they do not have the item i order !!! Ok i said, just give me my money back. Still waiting after 35 days. They are just thievs.
