*** IMPORTANT - FAO EVERYONE WHO HAS HAD MONEY STOLEN FROM MY CRASH COURSE ***

Me and my wife have also been victims of this mass fraud. Similar situation to everyone else.

The more of us who can highlight this situation to anyone who can do something to prevent it happening again the better.

Please can I request that anyone affected does 2 things:

- send an email to BBC TV Scam Interceptors (email address easily found by a quick Google search as I am not allowed to add it here) and tell them about your situation.

- go onto the REPORT FRAUD WEBSITE (previously Action Fraud) - again easily found by a quick Google search - and report the crime to them. This is a nationwide website run by the city of London police. The more reports that are filed the more chance we will have of the person behind this scam being identified.

Please add in key information in your correspondence:
- My Crash Course is the trading name of My Instructor Ltd
- This company is registered with Companies House and the director and secretary is listed as a man named Jordan Marcus Byrne (possible dob March 1984)
- On Companies House the registered address is Charter House, 1-3 Charter Way, Macclesfield. This is likely to be false (the main reception of the building has no record of any company of this name operating from there).
- The correspondence address given for Jordan Marcus Byrne is Two Friargate, Coventry.
- My Instructor Ltd is registered as company no 17001651

I am in the same boat as everyone else here, my lesson was today at 10 and no one showed up, website has been taken down and lines have been disconnected. Has anyone managed to get refunded? My bank isn’t taking this seriously at all and have been told i will need to wait 45 working days and an additional 5 days for them to issue a reference number. So i’ve had to raise this with the police as this is ridiculous and hopefully it will be processed faster. I spent £1740 and i’m never one to fall for these things but it just shows it can happen to anyone and i have found more info about this on a facebook post which i will be continuing to check as to communicate with others that’s have unfortunately had this happen to them too.

Just like many others, I have been scammed. I checked all reviews at the time and even called them before paying to ask questions. Instructor was supposed to come today, never arrived. I have been blocked and the number is disconnected. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

This “company” is a complete lie and I don’t wish anyone to book with them ! They have stolen £910 from me even tho I had a gut feeling the next day and requested a refund.

I have attempted to contact them the past week to see where my refund is to then search the number up today on Google and found there website has been taken down and it’s been reported to the police!
Disgusting behaviour and I hope it doesn’t get returned back onto the internet.
Writing fake reviews, having someone speak on the phone to people , fake emails just to steal money from people is vile !

Scammed!! Do not give these people anything complete sham.

Took funds and now gone off line!!! total scammers

Paid £1415 for a 35 hr intensive course to find out we've been blocked and websites vanished. Hopefully my bank can get the money back.

If I could rate ZERO I WOULD! these monsters have taken my sons 1400. I have been trying to contact them since Oct 1st.

Now they have gone offline, the payments and information I received from a reliable source is that the company MY INSTRUCTOR LTD 12160057 Who are now conveniently dissolved. I've managed to locate the headquarters at Proto, Abotts Hill, Gateshead, England, NE8 3DF.

Strangely they also are registered for IT services under sic code which conveniently was the name registered on domain ownership. And I now believe it to be sold to new company. Which are not related to this.

I hope this information keeps others safe from becoming a victim of the lawless world we live in.

My son recently purchased a 45 hour course costing him £1,700 of his own money, with his test at the start of December but when his instructor didn't turn up to his first lesson and he told me, the alarm bells went off from there!
This is absolutely disgusting and I hope someone from this organisation finds themselves in prison.

Booked a leason for today at 10 instructor never turned up. Safe to assume they aren’t turning up now. due this wait I tryed to call them no answer. I have now read everyone else’s review and agree with ever word. fraud team have be notified. this company’s website as been taken down and there phone lines disconnected. AVOID THESE THEIFING SHITS LIKE THE PLAUGE.! I would hate for the same thing to happen to yet another person.

As I was waiting for my lesson this morning, I get a gut feeling that something isn’t right. I look at the reviews to see all the scams which has devastated me. No one has turned up for my lesson and I never got a response message this morning. Please stay far away from this company. Now I need to figure out how to get my money back :(

I would give them 0 stars if I could they have stolen £1,700 from my daughter she is absolutely devastated.
Booked 40 hours with them including the driving test, for them to lie and not to turn up, and disconnect their contact number & remove their website. They’ve probably made a new website & will start again.
My daughter has also contacted DVLA as they have her licence details and could have used it for more fraud.
Absolutely disgraceful I don’t know how they can sleep at night. I hope they get caught before they rip other innocent people off so sad :(

Been scammed by this business taking driving licence details, name, address and bank details. £910 for a week's lessons and test. Disappeared off the face of the earth. Raised dispute with bank. Stay away they will rob you!

Payed £535 for a 10hr crash course, phone number is off, websites down told me they would contact me in 7 days nothing… clearly must be a scam don’t use these guys

Scam Company, don’t book with them it’s a scam. They took the money for a crash course supposed to start in October, couldn’t get in touch with them website and phone number have disappeared. Bank are aware of them,

Paid £1440 for 35hrs and the test early November for my son. Driving instructor never made contact and it took us chasing them up, then made contact by text only and arranged 1st lesson for Tue gone and text the night before saying his car was off the road due to a bump, rearranged for the following day he never turned up, never text. I contacted the company several times over red flag warnings and they never got back to me so I contacted my bank who have given me a charge back full refund. I’m absolutely gutted for our son and shame on these fraudsters.

Firstly I didn’t want to put any stars as the company has taken down their website, helpline and phone number. My son booked for 30hours on 9th to do his test by the end of November. They said it would take 7 days for an instructor to get hold of him but nothing and now we are taking action through the bank and FRAUD ACTION Line.I’ll do my utmost to help get my student son’s money back. 😤

Do not book with My crash course it is a scam. They are not answering the phone or emails.

I wasn’t going to… but after reading all the bellow reviews I feel it’s only right.
I booked a 40 hour course with mycrashcourse.co.uk and paid just shy of £1600.
Was told I would Recive contact with my instructor within 7 days.
6 days rolled by and I was contacted by and instructor named Lee using this number (+44 7984 641378) arranged for tuesday 2 hour lesson. Was cancelled last minute monday evening, said he had double booked and offered me 2 hours free for the mistake. Re arranged for Wednesday, Tuesday evening came around again was rearranged for Thursday due to an RTC and the car needing to be replaced for a fiat 500. All seamed very legitimate. Couldn’t apologise enough. So again came Thursday morning… 10am sharp ready for my first lesson. An hour rolled by still nothing… I tried his mobile number, WhatsApp calling him, I also tried calling the company number no response the company number was infact ringing out at First them became engaged around 11:30am. No response via email. Or phone. Or any other avenue I tried including the website mysteriously disappearing I knew something was wrong!

So I decided to reach out to the building the company claimed to work from. The woman was shocked to hear of the revelations and did explain there was infact no company ever to have worked in the building she was grateful I’d made them aware and were reporting it to the appropriate avenues. Felt so sorry for them. But they were brilliant and again could apologise enough. (Even though it was not their fault!)

After visiting the bank and opening and investigation we have been lucky enough to claim the money back. And now the company is under investigation from action fraud and the fraud team from the bank!

If anyone here is worried please contact dvsa, and your bank, they have all our relevant details to use our names, addresses driving licence numbers to defraud us further.
My driving license is now safe as dvsa have put my licence on hold and if my detail are used for the next 5 years they will contact me directly to confirm it’s me to protect my identity. The bank froze my card. And issued a new one and will keep an eye on any transactions that don’t seam like my own and again contact me further!

Guys please do not hesitate to protect yourself. My advices contact the bank, dvsa and cover your own backs!

These people were very clever and calculated. And I wish them the worst luck in life to take so much from so many people is just heart renching! It’s a cruel world we live in that people go to such extremes to make others lives unhappy!

So sorry to anyone else who’s dealing with this.

UPDATE: I have managed to get my money back through my bank but DVLA have advised me to apply for a new provisional licence as this company has my old provisional number, my address & my full name meaning they can buy cars with my details. I advise anyone to ring DVLA & ask them to cancel your provisional licences & apply for a new one ASAP

SCAM SCAM SCAM. I paid £1,740 for a 45 hour crash course for the driver to not show up 3 times. First excuse was he got the dates wrong, very apologetic and so was the company so I thought no problem! Second excuse was his car was involved in a RTA so he got a replacement & could do today (Thursday) again, never showed up. Now the website has been deleted, the phone calls to this number 01625 720002 are now not going through.

You would’ve never believed this company was a scam, it was very very easy to fall for. I even booked a practical test with them (which was obviously also a lie) & they advised me to change the date so I’d have more time to practise. I can’t believe someone so informative & like somebody else said, very helpful in answering questions & concerns, could be a scammer. The website seemed real, the booking process seemed real, I got confirmation emails, literally no sign of it being a scam.

After deep diving, turns out their company went bust & they are fraudulently taking money off people & I doubt any of these good reviews are real. I think they also opened up a company before this called Pass Drive.co.uk (reviews are on here also), which also turned out to be a scam. So it looks like they are closing & re opening under fake names. Luckily, I paid with credit card, so I’m very hopeful to get my money back & hopefully everybody else does too. & now I’m with a new driving school who I cannot thank enough.

& if the people who run this “business” are reading this, what goes around comes around!
